The G.O of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), Daniel Olukoya, is in the spotlight in a US court after his church dragged some former pastors and members to court over monetary and property disputes.

MFM is seeking declaratory judgment and damages against Pastors Lawrence Adetunji, Ronke Adetunji, and 11 former members of MFM, Bowie, Maryland.
.
At issue are real property described as 5506 and 5503 Church Road in Bowie, Maryland, which were acquired by MFM Bowie in 2001 and 2004 respectively. Also in contention are funds for the MFM building in Bowie.

MFM International (Lagos) claims that the property acquired with the contributions and offerings of the members of MFM in Bowie, are property of MFM headquarters by way of trustThe plaintiffs claim further that when Pastor Adetunji and most members of MFM in Bowie decided not to associate further with the denomination, Pastor Adetunji was under an obligation to hand over the properties and funds to MFM headquarters.

In their response, the defendants allege that they decided to sever their relationship with MFM and its leadership because of the illegal and fraudulent activities of MFM International, Lagos.

They allege that MFM International was in the practice of knowingly and deliberately making false claims to evade U.S. Customs duties and taxes on books exported from Nigeria to U.S.
.
The nature of the illegal activities stems from the fact that the plaintiffs would ship prayer books to various U.S.-based MFM branches with a cover letter categorizing the books as “donations” to be distributed to local parishioners.
.
However, once delivered to the U.S, instructions were then emailed to U.S. pastors instructing them of the price they must charge parishioners in selling these books. The pastors were then instructed to remit the earnings of their sales to MFM International.

Some Officers of MFM International, including the G.O, Daniel Olukoya are expected to get into the witness box at the hearing.

Hours after Ekiti State governor, Ayo Fayose declared his intention to run for Presidency come 2019, EFCC arrested his Finance commisioner.

In his reaction, Reno Omokri feels its a bad move. 'The EFCC ouldn't not even pretend to wait a couple of days after Fayose declared before arresting his finance team to cripple him!' he tweeted.

In December 2015, a woman from Ukraine took to Instagram to share photos claiming that Nigerian footballer, Brown Ideye (who is married with two kids) is the father of her two kids (Read Here and Here) at that time, his wife rose to his defense and not much was heard from it afterwards.

Now, Ideye has been called out again by his alleged ex-lover, Francesca from Switzerland who claims to have a 6-year old son for him but the footballer has refused to accept or even acknowledge the child.

Francesca exclusively reached out to LIB saying she met Ideye when she was working as a secretary in Swiss club Neuchâtel Xamax. We made efforts to reach Brown Ideye for comments but his aides declined to speak on the issue on the instruction of his lawyer.

A source close to Ideye however says, 'there's no baby but if she says there is, she should produce the baby and not just pictures'.

Narrating her own version of events, Francesca said

'I met him when he came to Switzerland to play for the football club Neuchâtel Xamax. After less than a month he started to ask me to go out to have a drink with him to know each other better, but I refused because I worked there too and I didn't want to mix my work life with my private life, he came two other times, but I kept on refusing. Despite that he has always been polite and said he understood. Time passed and my contract with the club expired so I left the football club. I went out with my friends one night and I met him. He quickly started to say he wanted to know me better and that he really was interested in me, honestly I was really surprised because its been over a year since the first time he invited me. I told him he was a famous football player and me just the girl next door and that we came from two different worlds'.

She continued to say,

'I adviced him to look for somebody known but he insisted and finally I said to myself, ok why not give him a chance to know him and see if you can understand each other. So we started to go out and to know each other better and the relationship started. Then he got the offer for the French club Sochaux and as soon as I knew he was leaving I was sad because I thought with the distance the relationship was coming to an end but he kept on surprising me as he said that Sochaux wasn't so far from Neuchâtel and that we could keep on being together'.

'At the beginning things were ok, but little by little he started to change. You know, his career took him to another level, he started to behave differently. He wasn't anymore the same "Brown" I known but I kept on being the same girl next door he knew but he became very distant. So the relationship came to an end in the middle of may 2010'.
And then, I found out I was pregnant, and tried to contact him but at that time he left France to came on holiday to Nigeria so it wasn't easy to reach him. Finally I reached him and he called me and when I announced him my pregnancy he was shocked (the both of us didn't expect this) I asked him what he wanted to do because I was very confused about what was happening and after he thought about it he said we weren't together anymore but he would take care of the child if it was his. I asked him if he really was sure with this decision because once our decision about the pregnancy was taken I wouldn't go back'.

He said he was sure so I kept the child. Few weeks after he came out saying he changed his mind that he wanted me to go for an abortion but it was too late (in Switzerland you can go for abortion until the 12th week of pregnancy) and when I said that to him, he started to say he was married and that this baby was a mistake and it wasn't in his plans anymore. I tried to contact people to try to arrange things, (friends or persons who know him) but he did nothing. In May 2011, the only things he said to me about his son were these words "you will suffer with your baby and you'll never see me". I was disgusted hearing these words'.

My son was born in early 2011 here in Switzerland when you give birth to a child the state asks for the name of the both parents. Switzerland doesn't like a child who has an "unknown" parent. I had to contact a lawyer to explain the matter and the non communication problem I had with Brown, the father of my son. The lawyer wrote him but Brown never answered. Then the matter went to court, the Swiss court asked Brown to come but he never came, the court made investigations to check my story and with all the evidence I had and they saw that it's real and at the end when the judge saw a picture of my son and he saw my son has the same face as Brown'.

A judgement was passed October 2014 instructing him to pay a maintenance contribution of 6,000 francs per month from birth to age 6. It has been sent several times to Brown, but he's done nothing. The decision was taken with the income he had in France and since his income became about ten times bigger, I never asked for an augmentation of the amounts even though I could have. It would be already good if he pays that. What really makes me angry is that Brown is stealing money from his son and this is not normal at all! He ignores his son and he hurts him'.

Since my son was born, he never came to see him, he never asked after him, he never sent money, toy or a tin of milk, he did NOTHING. Please I'm not asking to make public this story for me, I and Brown had a relationship and it ended, everybody has to follow his own path I'm not asking anything for me, but justice for my son! Brown organises football tournaments in Nigeria for children, now please tell me how a man can care about other children when he abandoned his own child? To me this is a great masquerade!' she said.

When I responded to the All Progressive Congress' National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi's, attack on the record of the People Democratic Party administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan and challenged his credibility, some members of the public may have felt that I was just playing politics.
However, I am today vindicated, in that a political appointee of the APC and a confidante of President Muhammadu Buhari, in the person of Professor Itse Sagay, has corroborated my stand.
As a man who should know, because of his close proximity to the APC, Professor Sagay has described the party as a 'come and chop party' peopled by the likes of John Odigie-Oyegun and Bolaji Abdullahi who he said lacked credibility and who 'dine with the devil' and defend evil.
Not stopping there, Professor Sagay, a man intimately aware of the inner workings of the APC, said that the party is "weak and unable to confront evil".
Nigerians should note that not only is Professor Sagay a confidante of President Muhammadu Buhari, he has also never been associated with the PDP and former President Jonathan.
Professor Sagay is just a man that was hoodwinked by APC's propaganda, just like the millions of Nigerians who voted for them, but has now seen them and their government for what they truly are.
A government that campaigned on restructuring but governs by denying knowledge of what restructuring is. A government that promised 3 million jobs per annum, but has lost 6 million jobs according to the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics. A government headed by a man who banned government officials from going abroad for health tourism yet ended up being the single greatest health tourist in the history of Africa, prompting CNN to use him as an example of hypocrisy. A party that promised to rebuild the economy, but gave the nation a recession and has in two years, acquired more debt than any of the PDP administration's before it.
With such an odious and unenviable record, it is no surprise that Professor Sagay called the APC a party that is “encouraging and accepting rogues”.
If the APC wishes to reject that label, I will kindly ask them to tell Nigerians what has happened to the report on the former Secretary to the Federal Government's alleged grass cutter corruption or the fabled Ikoyi billions.

Former Vice-President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar is very angry over a news report published by Vanguard and he's threatened to sue them for the 'Fake News'.

The news story with the headline, 'IPOB: Loathe or love KANU, he has fought better - Atiku' has been refuted by Atiku's media office as he tweeted, 'This is the most disrespectful act I have seen from a news organization. The news is fake, and my lawyers will be writing to Vanguard'.

Vanguard has since deleted the post!
