echibuzor: @johnpaul..... Equate y=x^2+4x-6 and x^2 + 4x - 7=0 that should give you the Equation of the linear graph...After doin it myself, I got y = -1.. Dont know but i think that means the linear graph is parallel to the x-axis at y = -1... And for the Second one....

(3/2)/x = (6/7) / (3/2) = y/(6/7) (common ratio of the GP)

3/2x = 4/7 = 7y/6

Hence : 3/2x = 7y/6

14xy = 18

xy = 18/14...

Richiez: This law allows us to change to a suitable base.
notice how we choose a suitable base (base10).
now the numerator will have the original number, while the denominator the former base.
e.g we all know that Logbase(2)4 = 2.
Now this is same as Logbase(10)4/Logbase(10)2 = 2
try using a scientific calculator to check this out

Taking log to base 2 of both sides
logbase2 (2^X)=logbase2 (30)
Xlogbase2 (2)=logbase2 (30)
and a law states that
Xlogbase p (p)=X*1
therefore:
X*1=logbase2 (30)
X=logbase2 (30)

Goodday fellow nairalanders, please i need your help on how to create a local incubator, as a science student, i have a zeal of creating anything scientific that the world would recognize, but i think at this level, i should start with common projects, so i have decided to produce a local un-mordernized chicken incubator as my first project in school.
After researching on this project, i found out it is an easy but expensive project, and as a result, i have decided that everything i would be needing would be created by me, which led me into making a decision that i wount buy any already -made part, so i have decided to ask for the help of the great scientist here.
