I could advice you root your phone and download root Explorer to remove the malware attached to your os, but it's a lot of work and u may end up with a bricked phone.

So the best is to simply reset the phone to default by using the power+volume down combo and see if the phone stays clean

You've been hit by a serious virus. A friend's phone automatically on data/wifi and starts to download junks consuming lots of data. Even flashing through recovery didn't solve anything. Had to port a custom ROM to solve the issue.

I was about to reply him, Thanks for coming in on this. I've been battling the speed throttling for two days now, though I use the PC version. Even Kast couldn't proffer a solution. Reconnecting ain't doing the magic anymore. Keeping my arms folded
