Ace comedian, and singer, Julius Agwu declared his intentions of ruling Rivers State in 2015 three months ago has stepped down, The comedian stepped down after having a meeting with his kingsmen from Ikwere who asked him to step down for another candidate
from another part of the state, considering that
state Governor and himself come from the same
area.

Julius Agwu and his kinsmen
from Ikwere, and it was agreed
that he should step down from the
governorship race.
“Because the current Gov. Rotimi
Amaechi, is his friend and they
are both from the same area.
“They will want the position to
rotate to another part of the state
and Agwu has decided to listen to
his people and withdraw from
contesting,” the statement said.
