God is closer to u than u think. The reason u feel uninterested is because u lack purpose, vision and self consciousness at the right time.

Knowing God is not by going to church even tho that is a neccessary or good foundation to start, bt as u grow and understand u realise God himself says we will come to know him personally and not need anyone to tell u who he is for u will know him through ur spirit and his.

God is the key. And he will teach u all things and reveal the neccessary things to you if u know how to communicate with not just him bt with urself. Yes cos it is possible to loose communication with urself and ur feelings and what u want. Don't forget that. I hope this simple analogy helps.
