hi house,please am new to this,but i think i can get some help here here.i am a 500-level student of Lagos State University,Anthony Campus.I have just a semester left but i have a huge problem with my Supervisor, he's been demanding for sex with me ,in order for me to have my project approved by him, initially,he demanded  for money from me in place of sex ,and i gave him the amount he asked for ,and just some weeks ago,he started calling me on my line and disturbing me, that the money i paid was not enough and that he would still go ahead with Being Intimate with me, He calls me like 3-4 times in a day,asking when am i going to be available.all my pleas to him that i am married with 2 kids have felled on his deaf ear. this is really disturbing ,because my husband wanted to act,but i was advised against that, Please i dont know what to do, if there's anybody here that can help me out of this,i would really really be grateful, am even scared to post the randy lecturer's name on here,

Your situation is rather unfortunate. I think your husband needs to clear his head of the emotions and handle it wisely. You could give your phone to your husband so that he would always answer the phone whenever the guy calls. Tell your husband not to over-react though. That would begin to send him signals that your husband is aware of the situation. Also, ensure you always go with your husband for your supervisor meetings if necessary. That would make the message clearer to him.
If necessary you could involve your parents or religious leader at a later stage.
If you believe in God commit it into his hands too. All the best

In Isaiah 53:4-6
4Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows,

the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. 6We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

All of this, we know has ALREADY been done at the cross, on Calvary. What does that mean? That through the cross, our translation unto becoming children of God, our salvation, the place where Jesus died for our sins so that we may say yes to him, we have been granted all the following promises in those scriptures. Notice the past tense reference of each scripture. Meaning God has already given it to us.

1 John 3:8
. . . But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil. –New living translation

Once again the works of the Devil are already destroyed. By whom? Jesus Christ, the word.
We know that in the book of Job, he was righteous, yet many afflictions came upon him. The devil had no power over Job. God allowed those afflictions to come about to show the quality of Job’s faith in Him. The same is true for all TRUE Christians. We will be tested by all sorts of trials, but it is so that we may endure, and persevere unto perfection and to prove our faith in Him.
So it is true sometimes Christians fall ill but don’t let that deceive you to believe you need to go to a deliverance meeting to be set free.

John 8:36
36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

Like Job it could be a testing of our faith, and if you know what the Word says and have the faith then you can speak against the situation, according to the word and receive what God has promised you. If you are born again, you have the Holy Spirit:

1 John 4:4
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

God has giving you the Holy Spirit and through Him the power to overcome. He Himself has called us more than conquerors. If you Abide in Christ you have the power to overcome by the Spirit of God he has given you. Sometimes God will test you with trials so that you will strengthen your faith and depend on the power that he wants to release into you by the Holy Spirit. You have what it takes, you don’t need a deliverance meeting to overcome your situation just to go back to it again for a new problem. You have everything you need inside of you, the Holy Spirit, The Word of God, have faith and overcome.

Ask yourself the question: for those who constantly go to deliverance meetings, where do you suppose their faith is, in Jesus Christ or the meetings?

Remember God's power is released according to your faith. When the Centurion Soldier asked Jesus to heal his servant and told Jesus that he was not worthy to have Him come under his roof, but say a WORD and my servant will be healed. Jesus replied saying he had not seen faith like that in Israel. Where was the Centurions Faith? In God's WORD, and it had the power to heal, Jesu did not have to set up a meeting and lay hands on the servant, he just needed someone who Believed in his Word and came to Him with a request.

I'm not saying that some believers don't have t be delivered from things, but if you really pay attention, they are usually not consistent in the Word of God and Prayer, they might have a secret sin and/or haven't properly repented over a matter, or the more obvious, just don't believe.

I really like the last bit. That is why the bible says as long as you remain a child (in spiritual things) the devil can take advantage of you.

I will be very glad if you can show me just one place in the bible our Lord Jesus or any of the apostles performed a deliverance service on a born-again person. You can also enlighten us teaching us the BIBILICAL concept of deliverance. Waiting patiently to learn.

Go back and read your bible. Jesus Christ himself was the Chief deliverance minister. So were the apostles after him. The first thing you should understand is the concept of deliverance itself

I find the topic of deliverance really interesting. It is usually an argument of half-filled, half-empty cup. It is a question of balance.
Paul the apostle has so much anointing such that mantles from his body were used to cast out demons (Acts 19:12).
The same Paul stated in 1thess 2:18 that he would have loved to visit the Thessalonians on two occasions but satan hindered him!! what a contradiction!
So if satan could hinder Paul my guess is that he can hinder any other Christian too. That was why Paul advised us in Corinthians 2:11 that we should not be ignorant of the devices of the devil otherwise he would take advantage of us!!
At the same time we should understand the position of the believer, that we are sitted with Christ in heavenly places. however, a man's position may not be his condition as seen in Gal 4:1. So as long as a Christian remains a child the devil can readily take advantage of him;  in the context of this scripture servant would be apt for people who are not born again.
Let us understand what the new creation reality is. "if any man be in Christ he is a new creature, old things are passed away". so what things are passed away? if you were sick before you got born again does it mean you would be healed automatically when you get born again? why do Christians fall ill? have you ever fallen ill since you got born again? so falling sick did not pass away? This scripture says OLD things, NOT ALL things!!
If you failed an exam before you got born again does it mean you have passed the exam now that you are born again without re-writing the exam?

Christians read your bible and be not tossed to and fro by any wind of doctrine. 2Cor 9:7 says giving should not be out of necessity (compulsion) because God wants you to give cheerfully. how come its only first fruit and tithes that we make a doctrine of in the old testament?
Talking about first fruit, why should it be the first month of every year; it can be better than that! since this decade is the first decade of the century, i suggest that one should pay the entire salary of this first decade to God.

Am yet to comprehend contextual definition and use of some words, at the global level, such as "human rights", "freedom" etc. If the Igbos want a nation of their own I consider it a rape of their collective will and slavery to force them to remain in the political entity called Nigeria. I still don't understand some things about how this world works!

HiTv is just a mediocre organization whose lifeline was just the EPL; there are no other interesting stations. evertin was wrong about HiTV: packaging, number and quality of stations etc. lets look beyond patrotism and stop celebrating mediocrity.
