Christianity EtcRe: 2014 Prophecies By Pastor Adeboye (RCCG) by Jomark(m): 6:13pm On Jan 01, 2014
Afro connect: The problem of Nigeria is not prophecies,it is Corruption and the lack of criticism of the corrupt ways of the Government by these GO's and men of the pulpit.

I think its better if Pastor Adeboye,TB Joshua and co align with the reality and tell these politicians they are the cause of Nigeria's problems, chastise and try to emancipate the people on supporting credible leaders...rather than throwing out red carpets to welcome these thieves to their churches...pls I don tire for all these prophecies-of what good is it to better the life of the average Nigerian.
These men of God better start doing what God expects of them and stop running church as a business venture.

All these their prophecies I don tire, same thing every year...things anyone can guess.
Only one man of God criticises the govnt...that's Rev fr Ejike Mbaka...others dey fear

naijaking1: The best candidate for this post should have an academic background that stand up to scrutiny.
Someone who can read and write---in English.
Someone who can add, subtract, and multiple--with ease.
Someone who would understand basic economics--such as demand and supply.
Someone who has an impeccable record as an accountant, banker, and economist, not--not some political hag trying to add the position to his resume for higher offices in the future.
What has reading and wrting english has to do with managing our economy. Find another excuse joor

Poems For ReviewMandela On My Wall by Jomark(op): 2:58pm On Dec 06, 2013
Good morning Nelson, our
imprisoned hope
Yesterday, in a darkened cell I
thrived
Firmly manacled by apartheid
sorrowful rope
And torture upon torture I was
served.
When shall our freedom come?

Your sufferings I have tasted a
bit
And felt the chains of sorrow
on your hands.
When dreaded darkness in my
cell hit
In fear and weariness I could
not stand
When shall our freedom come?

I was mocked by cockroaches
and numberless ants
That paraded on my body as
they pleased.
In my ears they made their
painful rants
And silent tears assembled in
my eyes
Is freedom coming tomorrow,
oh Nelson?

For I see beneath your sad
wrinkles
A smile reserved for tomorrow
When freedom's olive oil shall
be sprinkled
Among us all to happily wallow,
When freedom comes
tomorrow.

During apartheid regime in South Africa, it was common among South Africa high school students to stand before Nelson Mandela's portrait and lament their ordeal. They asked the portrait some touching questions like: Is our freedom coming tomorrow? Shall we ever be free? Now that he is dead,I stood before the same old portrait, filled with sad memory of those days; I composed this verse.

Dedicated to those Soweto high school students who were shot by white policemen on June 16, 1976, in a protest against Afrikaan as major language of instruction in schools. The likes of Hector Pieterson and co. May they welcome Nelson, our hero as he joins them in heaven.
