Whereas I know of someone who has similar travel profile and her application is 9weeks, infact she has a valid visit visa to Canada unused. IRCC is just unpredictable.

But come to think of it, She went to US, she returned without committing immigration crimes, she went to Europe, she came back without Committing immigration crimes and now she is want to go to Canada for Study and she is gainfully employed in Nigeria, why would she not get Visa easily? She has nothing much to prove again.

My own concern is somewhat related and preferably want a practical example

What if the main applicant is fully funded
(35k+)and got NSE request. How will I demonstrate financial strenght on the my bank statement or the upload section that I can cover for both of us in the first year.

You don't need to show proof of funds for the NSE route if you're on a fully funded scholarship scheme. Provide a letter from your supervisor and the scholarship grant letter from the University which corroborates that you've a scholarship.

There is no direct link for the NSE program on the IRCC website. You will be prompted to provide the NSE documents after the submission of your application.

Am sorry for always posting on this group, I am just desperately in need for my family to be together because I have no help, I pray I don't fall into depression regarding this paper process, Anxiety has already kicked in, I just want to be strong for my kids. I am super worried that travel ban will catch up to my husband in Nigeria, his Visa Status is still saying AP and the Consulate Officer didn't take his passport from him. NVC accepted all the documentation that I submitted online for immigrant visa. But he said that Consulate officer took some documents from him and told him that he will hear back from them within 90 days. I can't survive any longer with 3 kids by myself all alone (8 years old and 10 months old twins). It is too much for me to handle. May God help me and give me strength, to take care of my children alone. My only option now is to take the kids to Nigeria that is where all my family is because I can't anymore because I thought this journey was going to come to an end soon. But 90 days and with this travel ban God help me.

Although this thread is for non-immigrant visas. Nevertheless, I sympathize with you ma'am. 90 days is just three months. Be a little bit patient. If you can't then bring your family down with you to Nigeria because i suspect the travel ban is mainly for immigrant visas so your husband might be affected. Make sure you vote for whoever is the democrat flag bearer (Michael Bloomberg preferably) in the upcoming election so that your pains will be alleviated. (This should also apply to every other Nigerian-American on this thread). Ma'am endeavour to also send Valentine messages to your hubby.

Apply for schengen visa. You can use that to enter Belgium, Netherland, France, and all countries under schengen.

Go to google and search for Schengen tourist visa form. Download and fill it. Gather all the requested documents. Go to Abuja to submit the completed form with your Passport to issue you your schengen visa. You will be contacted once your visa had been approved.

My younger bro recently applied. He is traveling to Belgium.

Major documents needed:

1. Statement of Bank account

2. Flight itinerary

3. Travel issuarance ( you will purchase this online)

4. Hotel reservation

5. Your international passport

Which embassy did he apply for this Schengen tourist visa?

If Belgium, how many months or weeks did it take him to apply

bros...with 180k monthly income, how you wan take show say your business is highly demanding so you won't spend more than one week? Moreso, this same demanding business was there when you wanted to go and study last year and you were denied twice. Assuming the business is highly demanding, why would you abadon it for years of study? So, if you could abadon the business for studies in USA last year, how do you want to prove that you won't abadon same business this year if given a visa? Moreso, your wife is already in USA. So you want to go and join her and continue with the family hussle? If you no get another story apart from this one, don't waste your money. No VO will be convinced

Thank you helpee I worked with a multinational at lekki and left last year after visa wasn't approved and work was perfectly fit with chosen graduate studies so I had no reason for denial. Mind you I started this business late August so when I say it's demanding, that should simply indicate it's growing and I have staffs working with me. If that's not it then tell me how else would I demonstrate a strong tie or just your assumption seeing my wife is over there as the major reason or just my business not enough to show home tie

I have a registered business, 34, I had been denied student visa twice last year , married and my wife's convocation is in April as I planned applying to go for her convocation on b1/2 visa by then. I planned spending not more than a week as my business is highly demanding. I planned getting a landed property soon for personal reasons. My monthly average is 180k. What are my chances please. All kinds of comments are totally welcome.
