Google pulled out 1.7 billion bad ads from sites with machine learning technology in 2016, an official, Ms. Jenn Kaiser, has said.
Kaiser, the Head of Ads PR, Europe, Middle East and Africa for Google and YouTube, gave the figure on Monday in Johannesburg, South Africa.

She spoke on “Good Advertising, Our Products and Policies’’ at a Google Online Advertising Conference for Media Personnel.

According to the official, some of the bad ads are misleading and redirect someone to other sites.

Kaiser assured the global business community that policy enforcement by Google would ensure that bad ads would not infiltrate sites easily.

She said that Google would provide tools that would ensure good decision making for advertisers and publishers involved in online ads.

“Google policies are evolving; this is to ensure that bad ads do not infiltrate sites easily.

“This has to do with regulation changes from various countries, legal and user safety market trends and technology.

“The changes are made through investigations, user feedbacks and market trends that have to do with emerging businesses,” she said.
Kaiser said that the policy would be valuable and transparent for it to make the required impact.

The official warned that one could be blocked from the Google ecosystem if seen as a constant defaulter, although access could be returned later.

According to the official, by Feb. 15, Google Chrome would have a feature that ensures good ads on sites in the North America and Europe.

A misunderstanding between Fulani herdsmen and farmers in Shimba Village in Song Local Government Area of Adamawa State on Thursday night has left two people dead and several others injured.

This was disclosed yesterday, in Bauchi, by the Dean of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCNN), Myawege Division, Reverend Samuel Goro, at the Annual Myawege Divisional Conference 2018, held at LCCN, Bauchi.

Maigoro, who addressed newsmen, said that the entire Shimba village was razed during the attack, rendering hundreds of villagers’ homeless.

Hundreds of farmers have been killed in renewed and coordinated attacks by Fulani herdsmen in Benue, Nasarawa, Taraba and Adamawa states, even as Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association has also decried killings of their members and theft of their cattle in several communities in Nigeria.

The enactment of the Anti-Open grazing Laws in Benue and Taraba states is reported to have ignited fresh clashes between Fulani herdsmen and farmers across some states in northern Nigeria.

Goro decried the shedding of blood of innocent people, saying: “we cannot continue like this, we can’t continue to be slaves in our fatherland, where people now take laws into their hands. There is so much lawlessness and killings going on in the land.”

The cleric, who declared open the three-day conference with the theme: “In a time like this,” called on President Muhammadu Buhari to take immediate and decisive steps to end the killings, and bring the perpetrators to book.
“President Buhari must wake up and direct the security authorities to take adequate action to ensure that this crisis is brought to an immediate end,” he said.

Reverend Goro, who is also the Executive Director of Centre for Peace and Advancement in Nigeria (CEPAN), warned that if handled with kids glove, the current Fulani herdsmen/farmers clashes were capable of igniting ethno-religious conflict that could engulf the entire country.

In his admonition, the District Pastor, LCCN, Bauchi, Reverend Evans Leviticus Bigila, while speaking on the topic, “Watch and Pray in a Time like this”, said the Bible had predicted that perilous times would come.

Bigila, who read a Bible passage from Luke 21:17-16, stated, that Nigerians were indeed living in insecure and worst times in the history of the country, characterised by kidnapping, terrorism, Fulani herdsmen killings, corruption among other vices.

FG renames Federal University Alike, Ebonyi after him

The remains of the first elected Vice President of Nigeria, Dr. Alex Ekwueme was yesterday, laid to rest in his compound in Oko, Orumba North local government of Anambra State in a blaze of glory.

Security operatives had a tough time controlling vehicular and human traffic into the Polytechnic town of Oko, and at the St John the Divine Church venue of the funeral service which, also shares the same fence with Ekwueme’s house.

His interment came just as President Muhammadu Buhari renamed the Federal University, Ndufu Alike Ikwo, Ebonyi State to Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu Alike Ikwo, Ebonyi State.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo led an unprecedented crowd including former President of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Dame Patience, former Vice President Namadi Sambo, five governors, and Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha to bid the great icon farewell, announced the renaming of the institution.

He said Ekwueme was being honoured for his contributions to the development of the nation.

Speaking at the funeral service, Osinbajo described Ekwueme as a man with impeccable character.

He said, “We are celebrating him because even the professors in universities cannot attain his height or boast of seven university degrees as Dr. Ekwueme obtained. He is an accomplished man. We’re also celebrating him because of his architectural work which he established as the best in the class, and won him fame and fortune.

“We want to celebrate him also because he has occupied high public office and made history as the first elected civilian Vice President of Nigeria. But many have held higher office that are not as kind and generous as Ekwueme. We celebrate Ekwueme because he practised the type of principles that set men and women apart from their peers whether they are poor or rich.

“As Vice President, he set an excellent example of loyalty, discipline and fidelity to the nation and all his people. His focus offered him as the face and voice of the opposition to that deadly dictatorship.

“In the commemoration of the life contribution to our nation by Alex Ifechukwu Ekwueme, GCON, the President Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has approved and directed that the Federal University, Ndufu Alike Ikwo, Ebonyi State be now named and become known and called as the Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu Alike, Ebonyi State. For the family of Ekwueme and people of Oko and Anambra State, we thank you for sharing this precious gem with us and prayed that you will go beyond him in life.”

In his sermon, the Archbishop Metropolitan and Primate of all Nigeria, Most Rev. Nicholas Okoh urged the people to be cautious of their life and to ensure that they did not miss the ark like in the days of Noah of the Bible.

He charged politicians to emulate the virtues of Ekwueme by being close to the people that provided the ladder with which they climbed to positions, warning that anything a man does without integrity, is a waste.

The Primate said: “I want the new generation politicians to emulate this man, all the things said about him, as high as he was, as big as he was, he was very simple and close to his family and people. He was very simple and participated in his people’s problems and successes and someone said if Nigerian politicians would be like him, maybe the federal government may have little problem.

“I call on our new generation politicians, do not run away from your people and only come to them when you need their votes, because it is unfair to them that you went there through the ladder they provided and abandoned them only to come back after sometime when you need their votes and begin to bring little things. Someone said it is stomach infrastructure. Is it you eat today and tomorrow you die?

“So please get close to your people, otherwise it does not worth it, if all you do is to go and sit down in air-conditioned place for months and just involve in arguments leading nowhere and the people in the village who sent you there are forgotten; is it wise? It is left for you to decide.”

Okoh asked those in authority to work towards making Nigeria hospital work effectively and efficiently by providing the necessary tools.

He said: “Every time a great Nigerian is sick, the immediate reaction is fly him abroad; last year I had the privilege of visiting many parts of Canada and I found out that there is no town, city or village in Canada that you will not see a Nigerian medical personnel.

“The amount of money that is spent in Indian hospital, Dubai hospital, British and American hospitals is enough to turn around our health sector; please we can reduce it by 70 per cent, our medical personnel are as good as those elsewhere; when they have the support, the equipment and material our hospitals will function.” He said the Nigerian independence is just on paper, noting that as long as the country runs outside for any little thing, it cannot assert herself.

He said: “We need to assert ourselves, our leaders please help us, whatever is the deficiency in our hospitals, please help us.” Welcoming the guests, Governor Willie Obiano thanked the Federal Government for the honour done to Ekwueme and the governors of the South-East states for their contribution to giving the late icon a befitting burial.

Anambra State yesterday stood still for the late first elected vice president of Nigeria, Dr. Alex Ekwueme, as public and private businesses were shut to honour him with a commendation ceremony.

This is coming at a time when the burial committee said all is set for the funeral of the former vice president in Oko, Anambra State today.

Those expected at the burial include Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, governors, ministers and other dignitaries.

Yesterday, the biggest event centre in the state named after the late icon, Alex Ekwueme Square Awka, was filled to the brim with crowd from all walks of life.

Beautified as never before, the Ekwueme Square began to receive people as early as 8:00am for the event that started officially at 12:00noon.

Prominent Anambra sons and daughters, some Igbo leaders led by the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Nnia Nwodo, and friends of the state like former governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Sule Lamido, former Minister of Information, Dr. Labran Maku, and representatives of Enugu, Imo, Abia, Ebonyi and Ogun states’ governors were on hand to bid farewell to Ekwueme.

The cart carrying the casket arrived the Square at about 1:05pm in company of Governor Willie Obiano and members of Ekwueme’s family, including his younger brother and monarch of Oko, Igwe Prof. Laz Ekwueme, and was received at the entrance by the clergy, led by the Anglican Bishop of Awka, Rt. Rev. Alex Ibezim.

In his sermon, Bishop Ibezim described the funeral event of Ekwueme as a celebration of life and said the late elder statesman lived a life worthy of emulation.

Citing James 4:14, he asked, “What is your life?” and urged the people to emulate Ekwueme’s ethics and humility.

“We need elders like Ekwueme who care, he was an elder who did not pull others down. He impacted on others positively. Nigeria has lost an elder statesman.

“Who will replace Dr. Ekwueme; who shall we run to for advice and solutions to our problems? The greatest respect we can give to Ekwueme is to eschew politics of bitterness and rancour in Igboland.”

In his tribute, the Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige said the late Ekwueme was an exceptional politician who did not soil his hands while in service and after.

He scored him high in all spheres of life, but said he failed woefully in corruption, fake promises and lies which have been synonymous with Nigerian politics and public service.

“Our dear Ide was, indeed, a great man who passed in all walks of life. But there were some areas he failed and I marked him F9 in them. He had F9 in bribery and corruption; he also had F9 in fake promises and lies which are hallmark of Nigerian politics today.

Ngige, who said Ekwueme was his boss in politics, said the late sage suffered a lot of betrayal, even from his brothers in Anambra State, but had a forgiving spirit.

Governor Obiano described Ekwueme as a great man who redesigned Nigeria as a workable country.

“Indeed, if history is kind to Dr. Alex Ifeanyichukwu Ekwueme, his name should go down as pillar of modern Nigeria. No one has devoted as much time and vigour redesigning Nigeria into a workable federation as Ekwueme did.

He said by supporting a preferred candidate of his party after he was denied the ticket, Ekwueme taught all that Nigeria should always come first before personal or ethnic interest.

President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Nnia Nwodo, said Ekwueme “left significant footprints in the sands of time,” and urged Ndigbo to use his death to locate their gift and use it for the good of the zone.

Former Senate President, Chief Ken Nnamani, described Ekwueme as “one who had a good soap to wash Nigerian politics as he showed integrity in politics” and called on younger generations to imbibe his virtue of having second address in politics.

He noted that he was one of the very few who came out of service unbattered as he never had any case of EFCC or ICPC during or after service.

Meanwhile, former president Shehu Shagari has described the late Ekwueme, as a vice president he trusted while their service to the nation lasted.

Shagari also said because of the deep trust he had for Ekwueme, it was difficult for mischief makers to drive a wedge between them.

The Second Republic president of Nigeria said this in a tribute to the late former vice president.

The deceased was a close ally of Shagari and first democratically elected vice president of the country between 1979 and 1983, under the defunct National Party of Nigeria (NPN).

“He was a loyal lieutenant and because of his excellent contributions to the success of our administration during our first tenure, I had no hesitation to nominate him to run with me again for second term,” he said.

Shagari recalled how their administration was infamously terminated through a military coup in December 1983.

The former president said the deceased was a courageous man, who suffered several months of imprisonment and house arrest with a number of politicians who served in the Second Republic.

“This great democrat dared the military government of Gen. Sani Abacha, by demonstrating against the infamous agenda to transmute from military head of state to civilian president via a contrived political transition programme.

“Taking a great risk, Dr. Ekwueme, together with other nationalists, under the aegis of G34, doggedly withstood the military rule of Gen. Abacha, and later mid-wifed the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). It is left for those of us still alive to emulate the virtues he exemplified,” he said.

The Senate on Wednesday, January 31, resolved to investigate the low remittance by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) into the federation account before 2016.

The resolution was sequel to the adoption of a motion under matter of urgent public importance, moved by Sen. Dino Melaye.

Moving the motion, Melaye said that JAMB before 2016 paid into the federation account a meagre N50 million as revenue generated from the University and Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME).

He said the revenue increased to five billion naira in 2016 and N7.8 billion in 2017.

The senator, however, expressed concern why the revenue remitted by JAMB in the past had been low.

“Since JAMB can remit seven billion naira in one month, we must work on relevant agencies as the National Examination Council (NECO) and the West African Examination Council (WAEC) to generate more revenue.

“There is the need for the Senate Committee to effectively carry out its oversight function with a view to finding out what went wrong in the past and block all the leakages in the agencies,’’ Melaye said.
Also, the Senate Leader, Sen. Ahmed Lawan said, “something was amiss and we need to find out what happened in the past and why there was a sudden increase in remittances’’.

In his remarks, the President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki, directed the Senate Committee on Education to investigate the matter and educate the Senate on reasons for the increased remittances.

Saraki stressed the need to know what action had been taken to get those people, who were there in the past to explain what happened,’’ Saraki said.

Users complained that their devices got slower after software upgrades. Apple released a statement in response to the allegation, apologizing to the mass of angry customers and stating reasons for their rather dodgy action.

According to the statement released on the company’s website, Apple admitted to slowing down old iPhones through a feature delivered in the iOS 10.2.1 update that was meant to improve power management during peak workloads to avoid unexpected shutdowns on iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, and iPhone SE (now added to iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in iOS 11.2). The update allowed the operating system to dynamically manage the maximum performance of some system components when needed to prevent a shutdown. This results in longer launch times for apps and other reductions in performance. This was mostly important for phones, whose batteries were now old and weak. Apple said the iPhone returns to normal performance, when the chemically aged battery is replaced with a new one.

To resolve the issue, Apple promised to reduce the price of iPhone replacement batteries from $79 to $29 for iPhone users worldwide, and also hinted that they would push a software update this year, which would grant users insight into the health of their iPhone’s battery, so they can see for themselves if its condition is affecting performance.

As promises go, the company is set to release a major update for their mobile platform codenamed iOS 11.3 (currently in beta), which would now let users of older iPhone models (iPhone 7 Plus and below) to choose, whether or not, they want the OS-level battery and performance optimization that could remarkably slow down their device.
iOS 11.3 adds features that will now show battery health and recommend if a battery needs to be serviced. These can be found in Settings -> Battery and are available for iPhone 6 and later.

Apple has also added a toggle for the power management feature that dynamically manages maximum performance to prevent unexpected shutdowns. The option is available in iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone SE, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus; and you can now turn it off to return your device to peak performance. However, Apple recommends you leave it on to prevent an abrupt shutdown of your device, especially if your battery is worn.

The Anambra State Government is putting final touches to its preparation for the final home coming of its illustrious son, former Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr Alex Ekwueme.

The remains of the great icon will be received by the state and entire citizens, on Thursday, February 1, at the Ekwueme Square in the capital city by 12:00 noon.

As at the time of filing this report, venue of the reception of the remains of the great son of the soil has been decorated with color of the Nigeria flag, Green ,white Green.

Chairman of the Local Organising Committee for the Ekwueme burial and Secretary to the Anambra State Government, Prof. Solo Chukwulobelu, said final touches and meeting were been held to ensure no hitches of any type before, during and after the burial rites.

He said the committee was satisfied with the state’s level of preparedness for the event and commended the state government efforts in giving the late vice president a kind of burial he deserves.

Transition Council Chairman of Orumba North LGA where Ekwueme hailed from and a member of the burial committee, Emeka Aforka said that they are working day and night to ensure success of the burial.

Aforka said that Ekwueme deserved all that the Governor Chief Willie Obiano had put in his burial rites and commended the spirit of love and respect shown by the governor.
He said that the whole environment in Awka , Oko and nearby communities had being beautified in readiness for the expected large number of dignitaries that will grace the event.

Aforka said that Governor Obiano ensured that Oko and its environs were well lighted with modern street lights and switched on immediately to enable residents of Oko enjoy it and associate it with the memory of the late Elder statesman.

He described Ekwueme as one who did not play double standard in civil service and had distinguished himself in public service.

Mrs. Ndidi Mezue, a member of the protocol sub-committee, said that the decoration of the Ekwueme square venue where the body of late VP would be received on Thursday was completed on schedule .

She said that the state government had empowered the crew to ensure no hitches and that they are on their beats to play the state service .

The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign States of Biafra (MASSOB), has warned South East governors against consenting to cattle colony as proposed by the Federal Government.
The leader of MASSOB, Uchenna Madu, gave the warning yesterday in a statement he issued in Owerri, Imo State capital, and made available to Daily Sun.
He threatened that MASSOB would declare any governor in the South East states who accepts to operate a cattle colony, a saboteur.

“MASSOB is making it clear that any state governor who cedes any part of our God-given land to Fulani herdsmen will be treated as an enemy of Igbo and Biafrans in general. The people of Biafra have their diverse cultural, traditional and religious heritage clearly different from the Arewa people; our social interactions, linguistic and nativities sharply differ from the people of Arewa land.

“MASSOB will never accept imposition of religion and culture on our people through any dubious means. We advise Igbo governors not to succumb to Buhari’s pressure in ceding any portion of Igbo land to Fulani; it will be disadvantageous to our people. An Igbo governor who succumbs to Hausa-Fulani pressures against the interest and position of Ndigbo will be seen and treated as an Igbo saboteur, who has invoked the wrath of our ancestors against his family.”

Madu said MASSOB is aware of the desperation by some governors in the zone to yield to the Federal Government’s proposal because of their political ambition, saying such plans would fail.

“MASSOB and other pro-Biafra groups represent the genuine interest of the Igbo, which can never be denied. If Yoruba leaders can eloquently support and collaborate with Odua Peoples Congress (OPC), Hausa/Fulani (Arewa) leaders openly romance with Boko Haram terrorists and Fulani herdsmen for the goodness of their region and people, why are Igbo leaders afraid to support or collaborate with Biafra-agitating groups for the betterment of Igboland and her people in security and civil protection of the lives and property of Ndigbo,” he queried.

Also yesterday, the Imo State Chairman of Miyetti Allah, Alhaji Audu Diko, apologised to farmers in the state over the havoc wreaked on their farmlands by herdsmen.

Diko made the appeal during a meeting with the leadership of Hausa/Fulani herdsmen, Imo community farmers, and traditional rulers organised by the Commissioner of Police, Chris Ezike, at the command’s headquarters in Owerri, the Imo State capital.

He maintained that farmers in the state are peace-loving, thus, do not deserve any form of assault by the herdsmen.

The Miyetti Allah leader also noted that most violence attributed to the herders in Imo were perpetrated by unregistered and unidentified ones among them.

Some traditional rulers who spoke earlier had expressed concern over the continued destruction of their farmlands by herdsmen.

One of them, Eze George Eke, the Ishi Ubo of Ubomiri in Mbaitoli Local Government Area pleaded for the establishment of ranches in the state, pointing out that the process would solve the problem of constant clashes between the herdsmen and farmers.

•Anambra declares public holiday for burial
It was a gathering of who-is-who at the International Conference Centre in Abuja, yesterday, when dignitaries across politics, religion, ethnicity and race paid glowing tributes to late Vice President, Dr. Alex Ekwueme.

Among those in attendance were Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, former Vice Presidents Atiku Abubakar, Namadi Sambo, Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, John Nnia Nwodo, former governors, ministers, political associates, friends, political associates among others.
The event was put together by the National Burial Committee in charge of Ekwueme’s burial. He died on November 19, 2017, in a London hospital.

Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha who chairs the committee, said the government will foot the entire bill for the burial which includes transporting the corpse from London to Nigeria.
Osinbajo who came straight from Davos, Switzerland, where he represented Nigeria at the World Economic Forum, in his remarks said, Ekwueme set an excellent example of loyalty, integrity and commitment.
According to him, the late Vice President had only one vision, that Nigeria becomes a nation and not a country.
Ekwueme’s boss, former President Shehu Shagari, said he never knew Ekwueme’s 2017 birthday will be his last as he was younger than him.

Represented by his son, Aminu, the former president said: “I’m not here to give undeserved praises on Ekwueme; whatever I say here, I have told him so in his life…I choose him because he came across as a man of impeccable integrity and character. We worked harmoniously because we had the same vision. He was a deputy I trusted and mischief makers could not drive a wedge between us. His character remain impeccable. Even in death his achievements cannot be diminished.”
Back home, Anambra State Government has announced a public holiday for the burial of Second Republic Vice President, Dr. Alex Ekwueme.
Secretary to the State Government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, announced this, yesterday and added that all markets and businesses would be closed in Ekwueme’s honour. “Please note that Thursday, February 1, is work-free-day in Anambra state. All markets and businesses will be closed on that day to enable Ndi Anambra, friends, associates and well wishers to pay our last respects to the late vice president.
Meanwhile, Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige, expressed the commitment of President Muhammadu Buhari to giving Ekwueme a befitting burial.

He said the nation is reminded of the late elder statesman’s timeless ideals of integrity, loyalty and kindness to all.

Osinbajo expressed the hope that the vision and sacrifice of the late Ekwueme for the nation will not be in vain.

“As we receive the body of the first elected Vice President of Nigeria, Dr. Alex Ekwueme (GCON), this morning, we are reminded of his selfless service to nation, to our region, to Africa and indeed the world. We are reminded of his commitment of the timeless ideals of integrity, of loyalty and kindness to all.

“We thank the almighty God for giving us 85 glorious years of Dr. Alex Ekwueme.

“When he was asked what his vision was for the county, he said, ‘I will want to see Nigeria be a nation not just a country.’

“Those words tell us how committed he was to the unity of this country and I pray that in death and as we remember him, that this will not only encourage us but also cement the relationship between all of the people and nationalities of this country, so that we become and remain one.

“We thank the almighty God for his family and for all of us who he left behind and we pray that his great wishes for this nation and all that he sacrificed for will not be in vain.”

The ceremony, which began at 12:19, included inspection of the parade by Vice President, Osinbajo, movement of the corpse in by pall bearers (Ebony) at 12:26, handing and taking over of corpse by body of Commissioners of Police at 20:30, guard of honour on the corpse 20:31 (rendition of the National Anthem), Vice President Osinbajo and family representative, Pastor Goodheart Ekwueme, joining the parade train and escorting the corpse to Enugu bound plane at 12:39.

Others dignitaries present included, Former Chief of General Staff Ebitu Okiwe, former governor of Anambra Peter Obi, former Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Ebele Okeke, FCT Commissioner of Police, Sadiq Bello, AIG Federal Operations, Tayo Lekan, Permanent secretaries serving retired, heads of government agencies.

An unusual phenomenon has been trending in the Nigerian Cyberspace. It is the introduction and sale of sex doll Artificial Intelligence.

A few days ago, raunchy pictures of a female version of the sex dolls started making rounds on the internet with many Nigerians and celebrities alike criticizing the trend while others are of the opinion that it is worthwhile.

The female dolls with thighs, breasts, and buttocks of different sizes, reportedly cost about N800,000. Producers say it is hypersensitive to human touch.

One of the notable reactions came from award winning Nigerian singer, Wizkid, who said it seems those who created the sex dolls and were selling it for that high amount “forgot the price of a commercial sex worker on the streets.”

A South African blogger, Nandy Mlomo, even went as far as sharing a picture of herself on twitter in comparison with the sex dolls.

Most of the female folks who weighed in hugely criticized the trend, stressing that a doll can never be compared to a human being; while some men argued that the dolls will save a lot of drama that a normal relationship comes with.

“Men want to start having sex with dolls, rubber made dolls, dolls made from synthetic rubbish. Some of you are animals and I’m here to tell you,” Darasimi, a Twitter user wrote.

“I guess these dolls will also cook for you and do home chores,” another female user wrote.

“Some ladies are already shuddering and panicking over a sex doll. They’re the ones that have nothing but sex to offer in a relationship,” @shawnife wrote.

“Ladies should get ready to fight over their man with these sex dolls,” a male user teased.

According to Daily Star UK online, one of the most interactive female sex dolls named Harmony was unveiled in April 2017 by Cyborg developer of Realbotix, Matt McMullen.

Mr. McMullen’s company, RealBotix is one of the biggest sex doll manufacturers in the world, based in San-Diego, California.

An App created by the company allows users to synchronise a bespoke AI personality with robotic head, creating an eerily life-like android companion that talks, learns and satisfies sexual desires.

At present, only female versions of Harmony avatars and robotic heads are available to download and pre-order for around £11,000 ($15,000), depending on customisations.

Matt told Daily Star Online he is aiming to release a male version of Harmony in 2018, which he is yet to name.

“We’re working on a male version of the robot AI,” he said.

“We’ll eventually have a male and a female platform available.”

According to experts, sex robots are becoming more common that people who solely rely on technology for their sexual needs could soon become more prolific.

With buyers now able to customise robots to an extreme level – think character types, nipple colour, body shapes, eye colour and breast size – demand has hit an all-time high.

As a result, experts are warning that there will soon be a rapid increase in the number of ‘digisexuals’ – people whose sexual and emotional appetites are almost entirely satisfied by the virtual world.

David Levy, author of a book on human-robot love, predicted that human-robot marriages would be legal by 2050.

Published in the Journal of Sexual and Relationship Therapy, a report from ethics researchers at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada, even goes as far as to say that some will prefer to have loving relationships with sex doll with artificial intelligent instead of humans.
