WilyWily: Thanks to all our Brave Freedom Fighter Herroes fighting a just War to Emancipate our people from the hands of Devilish Nigeria oppressors lead by an AL-Quida Islamic Terrorist Musa Yaradua, the struggle to free our people from the hands of Dirty Stinking Hausa/Fulani and their Western Nigeria collaborators will continue until they leave us alone. Fifa (Blatter) should listen to what Freedom Fighters are saying, no where in Nigeria is safe and operation Hurricane Piper Alpha is real, It's likely Dirty Stinking Nigeria army may use foreign players as Human shield when Freedom Fighters Strike, As Supreme Commander JOMO have warned, all Northerners living in South from this moment start packing up all your dirty stinking belongings and start leaving, no hiding place for you people,as a matter of fact, we are going to smoke you Apes out, no matter where u hide. if any of u have ear let him/she start leaving now. Wily wily,I hope your IQ is high enough for you to comprehend what I am about to write. I think you should think of liberating yourselves from your local government chairmen, legislators, and Governors before before your paranoid attacks of "Dirty Stinking Hausa/Fulani and their Western Nigeria collaborators". Its rather pathetic that some people will find justification for the activities of a bunch of thugs and cultists who have created an enabling enviroment for the perpetuation of crimes against the weak and defenceless, kidnapping and killings of the elderly, children and women in the name of freedom fighting. Please try and read the journals of Che Guevara and other sincere freedom fighters with a sincere determination to emancipate people and not act as thugs for pocket enrichment. If the Niger Delta people can get their acts together, a lot can be done internally to improve the life of the citizenry or didnt Lagos survive in the face the Obasanjo victimisation and came out stronger and better? Anyway serious guerillas do not publish their threats before carrying them out and only do such to seek relevance in dwindling limelight. The dirty stinking Nigerian army you mentioned for your information boasts of many intelligent and thinking NigerDeltans who realise where the real struggle lies so let me just give you a candid advice, Please take your aluta mentality back to your school and remain there for 10years and above, |

Kazuya M: Did anyone else recieve the intercontinental text message this morning. It read
"Dear esteemed customer, the minimum balance on our savings account remains N1,000. Kindly disregard our earlier SMS on the increase. We regret any inconveniences and appreciate your continued patronage."
Why did they suddenly change I thought they said the increase was to serve us better!!??!?! I must realy commend Nigerians for putting up a common front against tyranny and injustice, I received the same text this morning from the confused bank. I dont trust the bank in anyway they must have an ace up their sleeves; maybe just design some wonder hidden charges to defraud Nigerians again. They should go on a retreat and find an excellent way to do damage control. The world is now learning to combat fat financial cows as evidenced by the ongoing saga with AIG. Once again kudos to Nigerians that spoke up and we can stlll more to make this country a better place. |

interesting thread! I bank with intercontinental and I must say their recent business ideas have been appalling. The issue is not about bad mouthing or a smear campaign,Nigerians deserve correct information. The mere decision to rescind a planned increase(if that is realy true as there has been no counter message from the bank) shows a disorganized and panicky bank. Please forget all the ratings and international accolades! bigger banks in the US were even on better ratings yet they are begging for air. I just think the bank is looking for another avenue to raise money since the capital market is presently unfavourable they want to milk poor nigerians of their meagre savings.Well I've withdrawn all my money from the bank before I get another message that the mininum balance is now 50k. |

oneperson: I think it is a good plan but the process is not clear yet. If they ban generators, what will we be using now until NEPA is revamped? Anyway, if they have a substitute plan that we should use before they normalise NEPA, let them let us know, otherwise this plan is going to suffer a great hitch.
my humble opinion. jojo OMG yeah there is a substitute plan, Fly out with immediate effect to their mansions in SA and Sydney while you remain in darkness! Wake up man or better slap yourself out of your illusion. |

Ceeno E vu: Breaking news!!! Dateline 2011-July-15
Over 1000 residents of Ajegunle, Lagos State are now in detention for breaking the new law prohibiting the use of unregistered "non-industrial" generators. Most of them were using generators with between 0.5-2.5 KVA generators whcih have been classified as "Non Industrial" generators. The minister in charge of the new law Double Chief Honorable Smart Adeyemi while talking to journalists from his 250KVA-generator-powered office complex said the government will not leave any stoned unturned in their quest to punish people that are bent on paralyzing PHCN by buying unregistered "non-industrial" generators. The government have earlier designated Dangote Group of companies as the sole importer and registrar of "non-industrial" generators. Only high-capacity generators (that can only be afforded by the high and mighty) are allowed to be brought into the country ad sold without being duly registered.
We will update you as the news develop. LMFAO |

Ujujoan: You guys love talking too much, I wonder if you ever have time to do your work. Anyway, I pride myself in being a positive thinker. If I’m right, the Senator’s not proposing an immediate ban. He’s proposing a target of two years from now. I think it’s a good strategy in getting things done properly. Any plan the FG has in mind to restore the power sector in the Country can be well implemented over this period. A ban might actually be unnecessary because if there’s light then there’s absolutely no need for a gen right?? So before we crucify the poor Senator, let’s see what happens in the next two years with the power sector. Personally the timing is perfect for me; in two years time I might need to change my Generator. Won’t I be lucky if I don’t NEED to? Whats your point? Stop sitting on the fence! |
