when you say quality check, do you mean you check it here in nigeria or from where it is been shipped from, say china for example. If after the quality check, you found something wrong what step do you take? And lastly, is there a way you can help importers verify the genuity of a supplier.
Pls reply asap. because I seen cases where some1 ordered for 100pc and upto 20pc were faulty.

I was close to spending more than 200k on tablets and phones, but when I did a last minute research I found a lot of complains against the supplier. Is there a way I can get an agent in china that would help me check all the goods to see if they are all working fine without defects?

Gone are the days when olx was 99% trustworthy, when I had the trust of a customer to send a phone to minna, niger state from Lagos. He paid, I confirmed the payment and I sent it to him.
This days, scamers are crawling all over olx. I called a guy advertising an unbelievable apple laptop for 37k. He said he was in ikorodu and I told I was in ikorodu too, that he should send me his address for me to come over and pick it up myself, but he just kept insisting on paying for 'tracking number'.
Olx has bcome a place qualified for the saying caveat emptor.

True talk bro. But you have to give it to those scam guys. Like auctionmobiles for example, they where sending bulk sms through visafone and this awoofmobiles guy claiming affiliation with jumia. They will do all there best to convince and confuse... You just have to be sharp and watch your greed level because those offers are just not possible.

Everything about this whole awoofmobiles stinks of pure scam... Firstly, you can't get that kind of laptops anywhere in the world at that price (unless your dad works for hp, dell, or something like that). Secondly, imagine how much it would cost him to deliver with dhl and other top courier service providers and all this cost he claims are covered by the 25k... Which means he is even selling for less than 25k. Any body with Common sense would be able to smell this scam from 1000miles away.

the guy of auctionmobiles claimed his shop was in onitcha market... This is all strategy. They know most of there targeted customers would probably be from lagos. So, it would be difficult for them to travel down there. I am not saying any shop claiming to be in the east is a scam... But, auctionmobiles.com was definitely a scam... And awoofmobiles seems very likely to be. No real site can offer such offer and for free shipping for that matter.

This is an advice to those who would take it. I stumbled on this guy in Naijaloaded, claiming he would show me how to get a brand new standard laptop for N25k. Sceptically, I followed. I was not close to suprised when I saw the laptops.
It was a 'brand new' HP 250 G1, 4gb ram, 500gb hard disk, 15.6'' screen, bla, bla, bla...
This is the 2nd time I'm seeing something like this coming from naijaloaded. First it was auctionmobiles and now awoofmobiles... Same theme (cheap laptops and gadget), and probably the same scam. I haven't used awoofmobiles.com but I can personally confirm that auctionmobiles was a scam. My pain is, is naijaloaded being used or is it directly or indirectly involved? This is a site with hundreds of thousands members. I lost my trust in naijaloaded since auctionmobiles.
This awoofmobiles guy claimed to partner jumia, but I called jumia and this claim was totally denied by jumia. My advice to buyers is that, if something is too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true'.

Teextoo: These guys are either highly incompetent or just plain fraudulent. I ordered two wrist watches through them on amazon and chose air freight for fast delivery on 2nd sept. Since then till now being a month, my goods that am supposed to receive in nothing more than two weeks is yet to be delivered as of this moment. After paying all their exorbitant charges, I haven't received my goods and their correspondence is so messed up. I am going to the authorities both here and over there in states to report their fraudulent practice but first, am going to spam negatively about them anywhere online that their name and that of their owner Anaele Iroh comes up. Their actions are detrimental to Nigerian businesses, as if Nigeria's reputation has not been bastardized enough. My 2 cents
