SeaTrade: So I just got this truck as man's getting older and practical and I'm loving it,maybe early excitement though,I don't know. Things I noticed: This thing burns a lot of gas,I mean a lot!15.5-15.6L/100km na em dey for dash steady ,used to be 14.3L/100km,don't know why it jumped.
Hard steering ,maybe because it's coming from someone that have been driving sedans for a while now and some CUVs.
Large turning space and poor manoeuvrability,Hilux no follow you manage space oo,you go reverse tire.
Sturdy suspension, you no dey feel anything.
Slow truck, crawls its way up to 170kph and stays there, sucks!
And I get free service for 20,000km or one year whichever comes first from the dealership at no cost.
Car came at 677km
Expensive purchase no doubt but worth it. Nwanene je chuba ego. Mr Logobenz. Lol. |

What exactly were you expecting? oyaskii: Brooo so pained, whipped up Ms word and gave us a whole thesis breakdown why that S5 was a disaster 😩😩😂.
On a serious note, with the Vought Rising trailer yesterday, it is clear why this S5 felt like a disturbing afterthought that they felt obligated to just get over with. They checked out in making it good, like one to two seasons back, and the real braidsmaid were the potential spinoffs Eric Kripke thinks he could spurn and hold on forever to that paycheck based on "The Boys". I will be watching that one still but we are clearly dealing with a mad man 😞 |

iamoyindamola: They may be broke to continue production BRoke ke? They didn't go broke when shooting the full Spartacus series, how is that now plausible? Saying lack of viewership is the reason why they canceled it, smells of foul play. How much is even the production budget? Is it as massive as Those About To Die? |

abduleez1: Omo, I wan cry. One of the best ways recent filmmakers have done a supposedly "Woke" main character so damn good. I honestly can't understand the reason why they canceled it. Was even looking forward to Season 2. I mean, if weak Season like From and the likes still airs, even after being pointless, why can't House of Ashur? That Season is almost perfect, almost. Dem just cancel am for nothing. |

CharlotteFlair: You don't flush that in the toilet because it's covered with nylon and won't decompose.
Burn? Yes. But she's not wrong throwing it in the trash can if the story is true. Yeah flushing it may seem a little to far, because it can block the passage way of the toilet, but this is Nigeria, where superstitions is the main stay. I'd advise burning it, is the best option. |

Mistermoon: Please, I need advice on what to do. The community disconnected electricity supply to our compound because the landlord did not pay a community electrification due (money for transformer) that predates our tenancy and the landlord gave only me a quit notice with 30 days ultimatum because I was the only one brave enough to demand that he pays the due so that electricity can be restored to the house.
I want to take him up legally but I need guidance on how to go about it plus L do not personally know a lawyer. Since you want to take it up legally. You should go see a lawyer, and not come on social media to seek advice from people who know next to nothing about anything. |
Romance › Re: The Anatomy Of A Weak Man: 15 Habits That Are Red Flags by joseph1832(m): 6:10am On May 20 |
OverCalculating: This isn’t about insulting men; it’s about holding up a mirror and self reflection. The traits below describe a pattern of behavior that I have closely observed in Nigerian men, that quietly erodes self-respect, ambition, and control over their lives. The sad thing is that many of them don't even know about it.
As a man, If you see yourself in several of these points, it’s not a verdict. It’s a starting point. All you need to do is just to recognize the habits, then start finding how to break them and rebuild discipline, purpose, and self-respect.
As a lady, if you observe these habits in your fiancee, you don't need to worsen the case for him by feeling it is normal. It is either you choose to help him rebuild himself with discipline and self respect or just walk away if you think you can't tolerate it.
There is a serious problem with your guy if:
1. He has a victim mentality.
2. He complains instead of fixing his own problems.
3. He's easily influenced and always looking for validation from others.
4. He can't control his sexual urges and food cravings.
5. He has weak eye contact, sloppy handshake, and is afraid to stand for what he believes in.
6. He's a nice guy who's always available.
7. He believes his parents are responsible for his miserable life.
8. He smokes weed. He's a weak man.
9. He distracts himself with pleasure and has no purpose in life.
10. He can't control his emotions and gets easily offended.
11. He is desperate and puts women on a pedestal.
12. Likes gossiping about others.
13. He's fat and in terrible shape but doing nothing about it.
14. There is lack of self-discipline to take action.
15. He gives constant excuses and whine about his problems. Well done with the generalization. So any man who smokes weed, is automatically a weak man? I see. |

EmmyMaestro: Nigerian Prison Food Video Sparks Outrage
A viral video showing inmates in a Nigerian correctional facility sharing a small portion of watery beans has sparked debate over prison conditions and inmate welfare. In the clip, one inmate describes the meal as the only food available for the day.
The conversation intensified after another video surfaced of a 17-year-old detainee who has reportedly spent three years at Kirikiri Medium Facility following his arrest at age 14. His case has allegedly faced repeated adjournments due to judicial delays.
I'm curious to ask, how did someone make a video with a phone, when they're not suppose to use phones in prison. |

Adekunle Gold Well, the difference here is, Jonathan didn't file a complaint with the relevant authority, Adekunle Gold did. It's up to the person being insulted to decide to file a complaint or ignore. Adekunle Gold is lucky. If I were Jonathan, I'll revisit that tweet and give him a taste of his own medicine. Lol. |

Romance › Re: True Story: Claimed She Was Virgin, Rushed Engagement by joseph1832(m): 3:36pm On May 15 |
SQLmastar: Please house, I need mature advice. This matter is tearing me apart.
I met this lady (a doctor) 4 months ago. I'm 35, she is 31. She told me she was a virgin and I believed her because of how she carried herself. I was very happy and rushed everything – introduction, engagement, and marriage plans (I promised my mum that I would get married before December 2026). We were supposed to do our traditional marriage in one week’s time.
Last week, I received an anonymous WhatsApp message. The person sent pregnancy test results showing that my fiancée was pregnant for her ex-boyfriend during her 1-year residency. She had told me about this ex, but said they never had sex, and that was why they broke up. I confronted her with the message. At first, she denied it and said it was fake, someone trying to spoil her name. But when I said I would call her best friend to confirm, she broke down and confessed the truth. She admitted she got pregnant for the ex, aborted it immediately, and promised herself never to have premarital sex again. She said she was ashamed and didn’t want to lose me, so she lied about being a virgin. Now I’m confused and heartbroken. I love her but the lies are too much. On the other hand, I have already invited many people – including the chief of my village and my manager at work. Cancelling now will bring serious shame and talk in my village and workplace.
Please Nairalanders, what should I do? Should I go ahead with the marriage or cancel everything? Has anyone been in this kind of situation?
I need honest advice. Better cancel everything now before it's too late, than have a mountain of regret later. She lied before, she can lie again. If you feel you need to get along with the wedding and forgive her, call the chief of your village and the elders, and tell them your discovery, and ask for their counsel, I'm sure they will have one or two wise words to give. But I wonder how the guy won't find out, she's not a virgin, on their wedding night, and she has been lying this whole time .. 🤦 |

this is what someone posted on this discussion

what you are referring to is the debate about recording people in public spaces 👍 |

[i may put the camera there because i want to catch you receiving bj] I'm not talking about putting hidden camera on another person's clothes. I'm talking about using phone camera to video a person, when they're walking, talking, eating, working out etc. Putting a hidden camera on my clothes, without my knowledge is a breach of my personal space.
