A female Gokada rider who was interviewed today during the protest on the ban of their service in Lagos State has revealed that she earns as much as N20k per day.

While speaking, she added that the reason why she must continue her job is because she cannot sell her body for money.

As instructed by the Christian Association of Nigeria and propagated by the RCCG General overseer, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the Redeem Christian church of God nationwide embarked on a prayer walk around their vicinity to protest the killing of innocent people in the country.

The team in the church was led by the General overseer hinself, but one of the point of attraction was the paparazzi on the assistant General overseer, Pastor JF Odetola.

During the protest on the ban of Okada and Keke napep in Lagos State Nigeria, one of the riders was interviewed.

According to him, an average Gokada rider earns about twenty thousand naira daily (N20k), which will amount to about N600k in a year.

Recall that the ban took its fill course on the 1st of February, 2020 whereby security agencies have been on a lookout for anyone that violates the new policy set.

Many have taken to the streets to protest this as it does not favour both the pedestrians and the riders.

Just when people are still recovering from the sentence given to Maryam Sanda for killing her husband over an argument they had.

Another lady who is 19 years old was arrested this morning for the same crime. The suspect, Rabi Shamsuddin had been confirmed by the police spokesman to have been arrested this morning.

She went ahead to stab her husband to death after an heated argument that they had. When people in the vicinity rushed to take him to the hospital, he was already dead.

Investigation is currently being carried out by the state police.

Maryam Sanda who murdered her husband sometimes back after a misunderstanding they had was yesterday sentenced by the court of law.

The court sentenced her to death by hanging to serve as a lesson on violence in marriages.
