How many have so far died of hunger since the lockdown started? If people simply endure this two weeks at least confidence would grow enough for the government to ease the lockdown. Look don't kid yourself, life will hardly go back to normal again unless a vaccine or cure is found, but we can at least slow the spread. That is what the lockdown is seeking to achieve. Now that America has over 350, 000 cases of covid19 and over 12000 deaths with a projection of over 2million infections and over 200,000 deaths , who will Trump call shit hole now? The death rate of this Corona virus in Nigeria is quite low. That proves the fact that it truly finds it hard to survive hotter climates , just like a flu. By now, there should have been a lot of coronavirus related deaths in Nigeria. . But at the end of the day just watch how the government will start claiming all the Glory.

yes the government will claim victory because Nigerians and many nairalanders always praise Donald Trimp , America, Italy, Spain etc. while they tear our government and country down for alll little things. Corona virus is not compatible with our genes and our hit whether. I hope Trump will now swallow his words that African countries are shithole. And those Nigerians who see nothing good in our Government and our country you can see that no country is totally better than others , it is a matter of comparative advantage. It is not a matter of what drugs the Nigerian doctors are using. Our body's immune system is calibrated to overcome Fever related influenza viruses because of our long time infection with malaria and typhoid fever. It isn't a good idea because Nigerians also have companies in SA. Dangote, chief Igbinedion, Gen ty Danjuma, and many Igbo businessmen have companies and franchises in SA . They will also seize those companies.
