what gives you the impression that people are not recovering elsewhere in the world? For your information, thousands have recovered in corona raveged Countries already. Nigerians should do away with this ignorant mentality that, people are recovering only in Nigeria.

. Who travel reach Nigerian?

The fact that we are not a tourist hotspot too might have protected us.

Many of the countries affected receive a lot of tourists , and the disease spread by people traveling from infected area to uninfected area as tourist.

If you think the government is lying to you, or is using corona virus to loot money ,form your own party, run for office, and run an honest government.

You are calling people who recovered from a serious illness liars. How come you believe the report when it is people recovering in the US and not Nigeria.

They recovered from corona virus. Unless you have actual proof that they didn't and that it is a lie, please, just keep quiet, or congratulate them on their recovery.
please what are they using to treat them......?

Just the way the media yesterday made us to meet those Airpeace crew that flew in those medical equipments from Turkey, that's the same way we want Mr Minister and the media to make us to meet these 7 discharged patients....

It will make us all to beleive the Govt to an extent....

But until then, It is still an Audio discharge.

Patients have their right to privacy. When you contract the virus and fully recover, you can ask them to put you on the dailies as proof for the government. That would be your business.

Most patients are treated with supportive care...ie oxygen for breathing difficultes, IV fluids for dehydrated patients, anti-allergics and antitussives for cough, and so on.

Some hospitals abroad are using chloroquine on an experimental basis, but more people recover without it.

Also, it should be noted that most of the cases recovering are doing so with mild symptoms, and may not need much medication, just quarantine.

First off Nigeria was one of the last countries to join the wagon so it's too early for all this your unneccessary jubilation, we have not started testing anybody, those countries have tested millions of people and are still testing them in thousands daily.
We are still tracing contacts here,we should be praying that we are able to contain what is coming, because this 200 cases nscdc are emphasizing on do not represent the real situation of things.it is when we pass that phase then we can start celebrating.

Nigeria is merely fortunate!!! Look up the meaning of "fortunate" or "providence"!!!

This unnecessary, silly and pointless bragging is quite irritating!!!

Oga shutup and appreciate the doctors and nurses working tirelessly to make sure you dont get that virus, you are just sad that Europe mismanaged the virus that turned them into this, imagine countries in Europe that had over a thousand cases but were still busy playing the league matches with over 50k people jampacked in a single stadium why won't it spread, rubbish.

1. US, ITALY, SPAN etc...have citizens with large disposable income

2.Many of those citizens travel to China...which is a tourist destination.

3.The EU has freedom of movement for its citizens throughout Europe.

4.25% of italians are old , and the old are taking the brunt of the virus. Same for spain.

5.The US has a high percentage of people with hypertension, diabetes, and obesity, and those conditions predispose to early death.

6.Nigeria does not have the above factors...especially the part where ordinary citizens can just travel abroad for holidays. That's why the inital outbreak was among the elite, and Nigerians in the diaspora...and their contacts.

7.We had temperature testing, and questionnaires at our airports by January. We already had mechanisms to trace contacts (developed during the Ebola crisis) by Feb.The US did not have such.
.. more so Italians are master smokers. since corona virus is a respiratory infection,They are easily susceptible to it

It means Nigeria is better positioned for the war against the monster. Why looking for Chinese doctors again. Say no to importation of Chinese doctors.

The government will continue to give some of the clerics reasons to suspect them. We r stabilizing the situation by God's help, more patients r now testing negative, then, why r we inviting the Chinese medical team. Are you show they r not coming for the 5G installation n the government is using style to say they r medical experts. We dey watch.

How many discharged patients have the govt of China, USA, Spain and UK disclosed to their citizens? If you don't believe, contract the virus then when you are treated and discharged you will believe.

Yes, Nigeria is dealing with the very mild cases of the COVID-19 patients.

The First world Countries are also discharging the very mild cases of COVID-19 patients too but they will not be broadcasted on the News.

As you know bad News brings more viewers than good News. cheesy

This is good news coming from FCT. At least it is good they discharge their patients too meaning that they are monitoring and taking care of their patients well just like Lagos. Thank God. We are winning this deadly virus. Let me see who will insult us again that we don’t have good medical doctors here in Nigeria. Biko , I am pleading with the Federal and State governments to always take the doctors demand seriously. Check out how they are risking their lives to treat Convid-19patients. The nurses , pharmacist , lab scientists and cleaners are not left out.
