This guy makes at least 1100$ (without breaking a sweat) everytime we have an underground tank. Maximum of 3 hours work.

He comes with his machine, digs, bring out the tank amd gets his check (Cheque).

He said he does like 3 jobs like that per day. Sometimes 4 (see money)
How about the money to buy that machine grin
Well, that shouldn't be a barrier

This is a completely WRONG information. There is no way in the world you can defer an admission or semester for a year in the US as an international student. Defeating one single semester is enough to knock you off status because your school would report you to DHS and your sevis could get terminated. Your friend is lying to you. He has probably fallen off status to become an illegal immigrant!
This is very much correct

omoluabiguy:
Lol... Your guy that joined army probably got his green card with that. You can drive any car of your choice in America if you have a good job that pays you monthly! You don’t have to put down full cash to get a car except you actually have that much money, but most people buy cars or houses on mortgage, all the bank does is to take out the monthly payment from your checks for whatever years it takes to complete the payment. It all depends on having a good job to show and America is ready to give you credit.

Your other guy with $153k might be working 3 jobs together maybe at construction site or something, but believe me he must be working super hard and spending super less to take that much up in 7 months. Bills alone in America is enough to keep you stuck in the middle class, most Americans don’t have savings because they live on credit, but then there are actually people who got money too. So it’s a two way thing! If you are smart, you’ll live comfortably and not worry about taking up billions.... at the end of the day, both the rich and poor lives comfortably in America, the only difference is that the rich pay up their cars and houses at once while the other ones get theirs on credit and have to keep paying it from their pay check till whenever they complete payment which solves the reason why most Americans don’t have savings cuz they are paying bills, mortgages, car loans and whatever loans they are on.

You get the picture now?
Yes, this is also true

True. I weep sometimes when I see people with 4+ GPAs looking for ways to dodge GRE or trying to apply to super safe schools. They console themselves by saying "ranking or reputation doesn't matter in the US". If you have a decent GPA, try packaging yourself and shoot for good schools. No dey block funding for people with low GPAs wey dey look for schools to suit their profiles.

4.2/5 is almost equal to 3.6/4 for crying out loud!
Can't believe we have a selfless Nigerian who will weep on something like this. tongue

Firstly, your guy driving a 43 million naira Benz does not mean he owns it. It could be rented or leased. It could be his though bought on credit and not cash down. It could also be on credit backed by his mom.

Your other guy with $153k might be working at a construction site or under the table saving every cent.

Most Americans don't have much in their bank accounts because they live on credit. Every check they pay into their account cancels out a credit they had taken or mortgage facility. Don't be swayed jaaaare.

The Equalizer: A Common Standard

All high schools do not offer the same academic programs, learning environments or expectations. A person in the top 10 percent at one school might not even score in the top 25 percent at a more rigorous school. Colleges evaluate SAT and ACT test scores because doing so applies a common standard to every student, regardless of their high school opportunities.

If your grades, class rank, and activities are not exceptional, a higher score may carry enough weight to get you into a college or university that might otherwise say no.

Providing an opportunity to take a focused test prep strategy class before the big day is a great way to boost both your scores and confidence. SAT test prep, along with challenging high school courses and good study habits, will help ensure that your child will earn his or her best-possible score on these important college entrance exams.

Effective test prep for the SAT has been proven to boost students’ scores, and might just help you reach the goals you have been striving for. But not all test prep is alike. Make sure the prep you choose has independent results to back up claims of its effectiveness. And, remember, quality test prep does not have to cost you thousands of dollars or take weeks of you time. A focused program that emphasizes strategies may well be all your needs to get that competitive edge. My best advice is, look for a proven test prep program that fits both your budget and your c schedule.

The Financial Benefit of SAT: College Scholarships

Many college scholarships awarded for academic excellence are simply not available to a student unless he or she reaches a specific PSAT, SAT or ACT score. This is certainly true of the National Merit Scholarship, which is awarded based on a student’s PSAT score. The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has a minimum score for student athletes to qualify for collegiate athletic scholarships. And both private colleges and public schools frequently have endowments —gifts from generous donors — that provide scholarships for students who achieve a particular score; other factors may also be considered, but a target ACT or SAT test score may be a prerequisite.

Many colleges and universities consider SAT and ACT test scores when deciding on the amount of the college scholarships they offer a student. It’s a good rule of thumb that the higher the score, the more college scholarships are available to the student, and the greater the dollar amount a student can earn. Some states, such as Missouri and Florida (at the time of this writing) even have automatic tuition awards for students who achieve a certain score or higher.

This is too good I guess? cool
TravelRe: Let's Blast The Sat Test!! by Josh4wod(op): 2:46am On Nov 23, 2017
Here are the top three reasons why test preparation is an essential part of your college application process in the US:

Competition for college acceptance is stiff, as more students than ever before are applying to college. According to the U.S. Department of Education, the average number of applications per college increased by a startling 60 percent between 2002 and 2011. And of those who apply to top colleges like the Ivies and Stanford, the acceptance rate is sometimes as low as 5 percent.

Test prep can help you develop the test-taking skills and strategies to earn your personal-best score and get an edge over the competition: every other high school junior who is applying to the same college(s). This is especially important if your other qualities — grades, volunteer experiences, afterschool activities, references, etc. — are about equal to the majority of applicants’.

It’s also important to note that some colleges and universities have varying “cut” scores for different majors, particularly in math and science. Knowing what score your program requires before beginning the college application process will help you make wise choices about which colleges to apply to. If the cut score for a particular major is a bit of a stretch, but not bordering on the impossible, the right kind of test prep could well make the difference. If your score is lower than necessary in math, for example, taking an online class (often called a “webinar”) or signing up with a test specialist for tutoring might just be enough to boost her over the cut score hurdle.

Your for college entrance exams is fundamental to increasing your chances of being accepted to the college or university of your choice. Getting familiar with the tests will help him score higher, and higher scores can unlock opportunities that would otherwise miss out on. Yet, familiarity alone isn’t enough to help students earn a better score. Strategy plays a huge part in how well students do on the tests, and most need the guidance of an experienced test specialist to learn how to handle these unique exams

How do I know if my SAT score is good enough to get me into my dream school?

The first administration of the current SAT format was in March 2016. The College Board has released concordance information to help admission officers understand the new scores in relation to the old SAT scores and ACT scores.

How is the SAT scored?

Each section of the SAT is scored on a 200 to 800 point scale, making the "perfect" score 1600
TravelRe: Let's Blast The Sat Test!! by Josh4wod(op): 10:42pm On Nov 22, 2017
Should I take the SAT or the ACT?

Is one harder? Is one better? More prestigious? More useful? If only it were that simple. In most cases, colleges will accept either exam and do not demonstrate a preference for one over the other, so it's up to you to figure out which test to take.

The goal of the SAT is to provide colleges with one common data point that can be used to compare all applicants. That said, it is just one factor in the admissions decision. Schools also consider your high school GPA, academic transcript, letters of recommendation, extracurricular activities, interviews, and personal essays. The weight placed on SAT scores in admissions varies from school to school.

Therefore you need to take it very serious
