Well I think the federal government should concentrate more on investing into Nigeria rather than pumping our reserve into Forex which can never satisfy it's citizen since we tends to import every thing due to the fact that we don't have the quality ones, Demand can't be met and price.
Let's not have reasons to import that much

Travel › Netherlands Embassy: We No Longer Issue Visas To Nigerians by Josh4wod(op): 12:03am On Aug 23, 2017 |
The embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Nigeria on Tuesday reminded Nigerians that it is no longer in charge of issuing visas to them.
Michel Deleen, the embassy’s charge d’ affaires, told NAN in Lagos that the embassy had since 2013 swapped its visa issuance processes in Nigeria with the French Consulate General in Lagos and the embassy of Belgium in Abuja.
“Let me remind Nigerians that since 2013, the embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Nigeria had signed agreements with the French consulate-general in Lagos and the embassy of Belgium in Abuja,” he said.
“What this means is that we have swapped our visa application processes in Nigeria with the French consulate-general in Lagos and the embassy of Belgium in Abuja.
“Let me remind Nigerians that under these agreements, any Nigerian that wants to visit the Netherlands for business, study or tourism should always process their visa applications through the French consulate-general in Lagos and the embassy of Belgium in Abuja.”
Deleen also enjoined Nigerians to always apply for visas to the Netherlands, through VFS Global to the French consulate-general in Lagos and the embassy of Belgium in Abuja.
The charge d’ affaires said it was important for Nigerians and other nationals in Nigeria to know that VFS Global was the internationally-authorised organisaton for receiving all visa applications.
“Let me also advise anyone seeking visas to the Netherlands through the French consulate-general in Lagos and the embassy of Belgium in Abuja,to always first apply through VFS Global.
“When you first apply to VFS Global for visas to the Netherlands, VFS Global would thereafter send them to the French consulate-general in Lagos and the Embassy of Belgium in Abuja for processing.”
VFS Global is the world’s largest outsourcing and technology services specialist for governments and diplomatic missions worldwide.
The company manages administrative and non-judgmental tasks related to visas, passports, identity management and other citizen services for its client governments. |

FrankNetter: Some days back, I had the opportunity to tag along to the burial of my Mum's colleague's husband.
We met the service at when people were giving eulogies for the dead man. Haven not known the man even for a second, I was touched to the bone marrow by the good things said about this man. What brought almost everyone to tears was when his 8year old son came up to the podium to give his own hand-written eulogy. Though tears were running down his cheeks, he stood tall, with his head held high and gave his speech. After the eulogy session, a wonderful saxophone rendition was made.
This was followed by a homily of sorts. One striking feature of the homily was the simplistic tone with which the preacher preached. The man, though somehow old, gave soul stirring solos (accompanied by the church pianist). He alternated beautifully between the preaching and music.
Another thing that struck me was the design of the church itself. Arguably one of the finest I've seen in a long while.
On our way home, I took some pictures. Trees without leaf What kind of tree is that? |

I have no idea about cut-offs. It may depend on the school.

Business › Re: What Long Term Business Idea Would $100, 000 Be A Reasonable Amount For? by Josh4wod: 1:47am On Aug 20, 2017 |
chrisviral: Tomorrow I'll be attending a business workshop in school. There is a competition tied to the workshop, requiring students to come up with a business idea in either Innovation Driven Enterprise, Small & Medium Enterprise, Social Enterprise, and Health Sciences.
The winner gets $100,000 grant towards the business. So Nairaland fam, what would your idea be?
If your idea is worth looking into, I'll contact you and we build up logistics and write a proposal together. I apply as a student (only my university students are allowed to apply) but we both or three or whichever the case would sign to run the business together.
Serious minded people with ideas please. Thanks.
For reference purposes: I go to McGill University, Canada. MOD: if you can take this to front page.

neccki: Usually German Universities requires between 1.0 - 2.5 (German Grading System). But in some cases lesser.
Which means you have to convert your Nigerian G.P into their's to know if you fall between 1.0 - 2.5
Here is the Formula - (Nmax-Nattained/Nmax-Nlowest)*3+1=?
In addition to this.
It is best you check the Schools webpage in particular the Course you're applying for as to know the G.P Requirements they asking for. BlessUp My school didn't request for a particular GP (Rhein Waal) for undergraduate I am only referred to anabin in which I didn't get the usage Thanks |
