I just feel so bad for my elder bro who has been underemployed since he finished his service year.

Our joy knew no bounds when he called and informed everyone in the family that he will be going to Lagos for a job interview.

What actually happened was that a friend of his contacted him about an opening in their company.

The friend works with one QI group of companies.

The QI group of companies is supposed to be an international organizations that pays in dollars.

So my elder brother left Owerri to Lagos on a night bus yesterday. He was well received by his friend and according to him, he did the interview with some representatives of the company.

After the interview, he was asked to pay a whopping sum of 480k for the slot.

My questions now are: how and where will an unemployed get money to pay for a job slot?

If someone can be able to make 480k, why will the person be job hunting?

Is QI group of companies even legit or a scam?
Why can't the government really regulate all these thing?

Now my brother has left Lagos for Owerri this night.

I can't imagine what he's going through. The financial stress, the emotional stress, the psychological stress and what have you.
I pray God showers his blessings on him.

Poor people will say business but forget that 50% of businesses don't make it past 2 years. When you bring that to Nigeria, you know that to you have an even lower chance of success.

Npower Breaking News: October Payment Commences Fully

Recall that few days ago Npower NASIMS management promise to pay for both October and September stipend, well that statement is now a reality as October payment commences fully today.

If you are an Npower Batch C Volunteer and you are yet to receive your stipend please exercise patience and keep checking your Npower NASIMS payroll tab, if your Npower NASIMS payroll tab is displaying "processing" you will definitely be paid, those Npower volunteers still having payment issues should please continue to contact Npower NASIMS management sending in their Npower ID and correct account number, correct account names, and correct Npower NASIMS profile names to support.nasims@nasims.gov.ng in order for the changes to be effected so that the affected Npower Batch C Volunteer can be placed on the next payment, when it commences.

At this moment all Npower Batch C Volunteers have been advised that November and December stipend will also be paid because it has been approved by the Minister for Humanitarian Affairs.

If you are under the Npower non graduate category and you have not yet been posted please you might not be entitled to payment, until you have been posted,
always check your Npower NASIMS profile for updates on your deployment tab or alternatively you can join our Npower News affiliated Facebook Group at https://m./911673989680645/ for updated Npower News.

There Will Be Another Training For Npower Non Graduate Category

If you are an Npower Batch C Volunteer under the non graduate category and you are yet to be contacted for training, please exercise patience and be rest assured that there will definitely be another training, the Npower non graduate category is targeted at 40,000 non graduate and the non graduate scheme is yet to meet up the target, the training previously conducted was for the north central zone, when the next batch commences all Npower non graduate volunteers will be duly informed.

Npower Batch C Volunteers under the non graduate scheme have been advised to always check their Npower NASIMS profile for updates regarding their training venues and training schedules.

As for payment, if you have not been contacted or selected for training and you are yet to complete your Npower physical verification you will not receive payment.

same applied to me also but I kept on trying the 2nd mail till it also gets validated cos the first email my profile did not submit...but since u av submitted and taken the test I don't think dere should b any problem
