Lamasta: If our government make refineries work we will not be in this position where we will be shouting dangote today Blaming this present government for everything that we face today is an unforgivable sin. Government is a continum and the rot in the system today didn't start today or the last ten years but we can start a count from the democratic dispensation. If there wasn't a rot, there wouldn't be thoughts about removing subsidy because subsidy in itself is not bad. |

Lamasta: Dangote is a private citizen and a businessman he does not owe Nigerians explanation how he runs his business, its your government and NNPCL that are not sincere and making life unbearable for Nigerians Not sincere.....can't you read the content of the pricing....so you expect nnpcl to buy 898 and sell for 500 naira. You are a joke. |

Career › Re: When We Say A Toilet Cleaner Abroad Is Better Than Bank Manager In Nigeria by JoshTim: 9:57am On Sep 03, 2024 |
Notfogotten: When we say a toilet cleaner in USA, Canada, UK, Australia is better than the manger of zenith bank, what we mean is that the toilet cleaner will never suffer what you are currently suffering in Nigeria.
Example include:
A. A toilet cleaner will never queue for fuel. B. A toilet cleaner is less likely to be kidnapped in those countries C. A toilet cleaner has 24/7 electricity. D. A toilet cleaner has access to excellent Medicare. E. A toilet cleaner is less likely exposed to armed robbers F. A toilet cleaner eats better food and fruits than your bank manager. G A toilet cleaner has access to good amenities H. A toilet cleaner may have his children schooling for free in primary and high school I. A toilet cleaner has a longer live expectancy than your bank manager in Nigeria. Most of the things you listed are fallacy. Do you know how much health care cost in those countries?....has 24/7 light, can you bear the cost?...arm robbery you say, have you been to the US where you can be shot in broad day light or when last did you hear that the Nigerian president escaped assassination attempt?, fruits and food?....for real cholesterol is now good food?...all these your claims are overblown. |

If you want to make it through betting
Then you must put on your intellectual cap Psychologically you must be sound... Logically you must be good
And you must avoid being emotional
Like today game
Chelsea is winning....no matter what crystal Palace will play...even if they bring in Ronaldo and messi they can't draw or win Chelsea because psychologically Chelsea scored too many goals in their last game ..so psychologically that moral is very much there for them to win this one Story.... |

Christianity Etc › Re: See The Issue I Am Having With My Current Church. by JoshTim: 3:03pm On Aug 18, 2024 |
Skooltynz: There is this church that came to preach to me November last year I went to the church and liked it,their pastor understands spiritual teachings very well and i really enjoy listening to his preachings, but here is the issue ,the members hold their pastor in so much esteem, like they see him as a their God representative on earth he does no wrong and they want me to be like them, secondly the church has so much rules and protocols like its a military barrack, they have a dress code you must wear suite or dress corporate, you must partake in soul winning, out of 7 days a week we have 4 services if you miss one it becomes like you have broken one of Gods commandment they leaders will call you 100 times, you must not speak anything else than English, broken english is not allowed. As a Nigerian I am getting fed up with this American or western styled church it seems out of culture to me. This Sunday I didn't go to church because a brother told me to dress corporate I got angry because I don't like wearing suit unless i got a job interview or something similar I just wanted to look casual,I mean what kind of church selects clothes for members not like I am dressing indecently I can wear T-shirt ,jeans and palms even suits are expensive these days,I feel if the pressure gets too much I might quit the church. Let me guess the church's name.....the good life family or TLT, better run o |

ecolime: It's the law which is why it's good not to have all your funds in one bank. Spread your risks.
Also, it's safer to bank with the big banks. Go through the quarterly financials and follow their news bumper to bumper incase you need to move you money ASAP
The unsecured deposits can still be paid much later if NDIC is able to recover the debts owed to the institution but you can't bank on this at all. Lol, that is not the case sir. It will be sold to AMCON at a discounted price. AMCON will do the recovery. |
