One thing other African countries should understand about Nigerians is that we are gifted by God to excel in all sphere of life. The only thing hindering us as a country is bad leadership.

The government is not serious yet. I know a lot of people that will give up city life for village life. All that needs to be done is invest in Agric, drive the agric sector, segment it-Farming, Processing and Final output, link it with the manufacturing sector(supply of raw materials), give out low interest loans with moratorium of at least 12 months, set up a committee in each state to monitor each participant. All are appropriates and necessary at the same time.....and pls note that insurance is not free money, it is an amount to indemnify losses suffered as a result of eventualities of risk.

Insurance is a last resort/mitigation against loss when other controls( such as steering lock and tracker) have failed.

This way, when your car is eventually stolen, you won't have issues having claims against insurance premiums.

In Nigeria, people can be fraudulent. When some people take loan, inorder to commit loan fraud, the fraudster leaves few goods and rags in the shop and set on fire inorder to have insurance pay for the loans that have been insured.

Nothing really works here even when it has worked in other countries who are sincere and truthful about events.
