“The constitutional responsibility of the police is to maintain law and order and not to make or criticise same.

“That the IGP would have the audacity to blame a law made to ensure peace in the state and call for its repeal amounts to taking sides with lawless groups that gave notice to invade and carried out their threats"

Romance › Re: What Is The Height Of A Tall Man? by jospepper(m): 10:42am On Feb 06, 2018
XML33:
From 6 ft and above, a man is considered tall, especially in a country like Nigeria where there are lots of men of average height.

Short for men is 5" 7 and below.
Average for men is 5"8 - 5" 11

For women however:

Short is 5" 4 and below.
Average is 5" 5 - 5" 8
Tall is 5" 9 and above.
Chairman sir what is the meaning of this 5" 7, 5" 8... you are writing? 5" is 5 inches o.

ozornet:
Granted that you maintain the average extraction rate of a minimum of 40% ( we say minimum because in some cases one could extract up to 45% depending on the quality of kernel nuts and expelling efficiency of the machine): your yield would be one ton of palm kernel oil (PKO) 1.25 tons of palm kernel cake (PKC) and about 0.35 tons of palm kernel sludge (PKSL) all these from 2.5 tons of raw materials, palm kernel nuts (PKN) you processed. This is standard practice. Anything less is not efficient operation and should be investigated and the problem solved.
Good evening sir, please how many litres are in a ton of PKO?

you could have just remained silent. What I do, I do it for myself. Yes I am making a fool of myself... I will open my own thread soon to tell my story just to inspire more "fools" and I hope to mentor, at most, 50 "fools" from Nairaland in soap business. I will follow them up to make sure they succeed. It's a decision I have made, follow me and keep a date. Thank you.

Politics › Re: Senate Gives IGP 14 Days To Arrest Benue Killers by jospepper(m): 10:43am On Jan 17, 2018
ogbeniolola:
Politicians are the ones instigating crises in benue!....Ortom is desperate for second term bid, yet he has failed in his first term mandate. There is no road infrastructure to showcase in his first three years; he's still owing workers'salaries despite all the bailout funds; benue does not have functional transport system, it's okada & keke napep everywhere you go; recent WAEC results have shown benue as one of the worst performing, ortom is owing teachers; the state is poor in IGR generation, thank God for federal allocation; benue under ortom has done little for farmers in the state!.....Thanks to Audu Ogbeh who has helped the fortunes of yam farmers in the state!

Other than the anti-grazing non-sense, ortom should come out and state his contributions to benue farmers. Ortom started getting jittery the moment Audu Ogbeh began promoting yam export in benue. Thus in order to be seen to be working for farmers in the state, the state govt had to create an artificial conflict using anti-grazing laws and make herdsmen the fall guy.

Knowing that election is approaching, ortom had to introduce some divisive anti-grazing law to instigate crises between farmers and herdsmen who have coexisted for years o pretending to be contributing to the lot of the farmers! Some people were later armed to unleash terror on innocent people in their farmlands, and the non-performing govt was quick to rush to say it was herdsmen thus putting the whole state in mourning mood just so that the state govt could attract public sympathy and to distract benue people from asking questions on ortom's performance in this first term.

To tell you that the benue attack was premeditated and that ortom is being economical with the truth, listen to VP Osinbajo vehemently disputing that his office was forewarned about the attack by the benue govt; and anyone that knows the VP will know that Ortom has misfired this time and his lies have been taken too far and he should be investigated. As it stands, only the benue govt knew the attack would happen.

Ortom knows the killers of benue people!...Ask him!
Heavy smelly Trash.

Career › Re: Customers Are Always Right; How True Is This View? by jospepper(m): 10:19am On Dec 07, 2017
oluphilip2008:
In Nigeria, customers are not always right. Many of them are just out to frustrate you. You as the employee has the right to defend yourself too. A customer who did not hesitate to slap you twice simply for doing your job doesn't deserve your respect. You have your own dignity to protect too and I love the fact that you defended yourself.

So sorry you had to resign. Better one ahead.
Hope you have some savings to sustain you till another one comes though.
The sense in your head is bigger than Mount Everest. You are too much.
