Yes o...I get we're are rebuilding and lack of funds blah blah blah. When Pep came, we weren't as bad but still barca wasn't as top notch then either. How many people did he buy in that first season?? Baba came brought Pique back, incorporated busquets, made something else out of Messi, Alves became a beast at rb, utilised Iniesta , developed Pedro into a sharpshooter, Thiago, ......most of these people mentioned were not really starters before he came but see how he turned everything around. Now see what he did with Sterling, Foden even Ferran Torres now sef. That's what a good manager should do, apart from being savvy tactically, he should be able to know your players capabilities and bring out the best in them.

Just imagine if Pep was the one managing de jong, Pedri and Puig at the same time.

Rebuilding does not entirely mean discarding all old players and replacing them with brand new ones. You also have to be aware that the rebuilding process is being limited by lack of funds.
Coach requested for a striker and a new defender but club was unable to acquire them. This is why we create so many chances only to put away so little. If a defender had arrived, Lenglet wouldn't have been playing.
Play deserving players? Only the coach who watches the players in training knows those who deserve to play and those who must work harder to earn playing time. You cannot decide that a player is deserving just because you watch his YouTube videos or you like his face.

Koeman is rebuilding the team. Lots of new players have been incorporated in the team. Naturally, transition will take a bit of time. It is going to be rocky at times and filled with up and down but if we get it right now, we have a team that would serve the club for at least next 10 years.
