Confused and brainwashed people.... Let them be shooting themselves on the feet...That's why no meaningful development will get to the SE if they continue in this manner.... The Catalans in Spain came together and developed their region firstly before their agitation.... I just dey look sha....

I am not against their protest or their agitations, what I am against is trying to disenfranchise others who are willing to exercise their civic responsibilities by telling them to boycott the general elections next year.

Do your protest, but kindly do that with sense.
Honestly , they are actually brainwashed and totally misled....boycotting this election will be to their detriment.... Am not in support of it at all....no one will take them seriously if they don't vote out their perceived bad leader come next year. They should stop the sing song of no voting...I pray the reasonable Igbo's will not adhere to this...We need to get this country working again
PoliticsRe: Atiku Abubakar At PDP Women Town Hall Meeting In Abuja (Photos) by Jowanson: 12:00pm On Dec 13, 2018
ochejoseph:
Did you know that women only constitute about 6% of Buhari's cabinet?

This, and many other issues were brought to the fore as female engineers, architects, medical doctors, academics, traders, artisans, students, market women, and a host of other women gathered for the town hall meeting for women in Abuja, hosted by the PDP Presidential Campaign team.

Atiku whose entrance to the venue elicited wide celebrations could not hold back his emotions as he danced joyfully to the music with the women which sent the crowd into a frenzy.

During the interactive event which was the first by the campaign organization, Atiku said he decided interact with the women first because of  the key roles women play in families and nation building, citing  the role his mother and grandmother played in his upbringing.

During the two hour long event, Atiku interacted and responded to questions on restructuring, women empowerment, jobs for young women, care for the aged , geriatrics, ending  boko haram, food prices and food security, agriculture, poverty and a host of others, making references to the thousands of women he has brought out of poverty using his Microfinance Bank as a platform.

Also speaking at the event, Senator Olujimi the Senate  Minority leader noted that Women got 35% under Jonathan and the PDP, but under APC, 6 percent was their best. She went further to state that most women legislators were PDP and that APC does not consider women fit as principal officers for both chambers wheras women, including herself were considered fit for leadership under the PDP in both the Senate and House of Representatives.

This assertion was corroborated by Senator Zainab Kure who heaped praises on Atiku for his women empowerment initiatives from 1999 till date, citing examples of herself and many others as beneficiaries

The event was anchored by Dr Baraka Sani and Chinwe Nnorom.
Watch out for the PDP women train coming to a location near you.

A vote for Atiku is a vote for lower food prices and improved living conditions.

A vote for Atiku is a vote against Poverty , Joblessness and Empty promises

With Atiku, women don't belong to the 'other room', they are the catalyst for development and progress.

May God Himself Continue to Bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria

baganas:
Thanks. You just spoke my mind. Imagine fighting corruption is a disaster. Nigerians up to you. To avert disaster we must all embrace corruption!!!
Is this govt not embracing corruption now? Babashir and Ghandollar as a typical case study...EFCC have not indicted them o...OK Ghandollar cos he is a sitting governor, what about Babashir? My brother leave o....Did APC not embrased ATIKU in 2014 when they said he is an asset to them and publicly praised him for helping them out? You cannit squash corruption but you can block the loopholes from where the corruption is done...you think there are no corruption in the US up till now? Corruption can be reduced but not totally squashed...and again fighting corruption should not be lopsided and that is where this govt is missing it...but most people who supports this govt don't see it that way...at all...Obi says corruption is not an economic policy... That is the plain truth..and this statement does not connote that he supports corruption or they will enshrine corruption in their tenure if they win. Let's get the narrative rightly please...
PoliticsRe: Fighting Corruption Not An Economic Policy; Peter Obi To Buhari by Jowanson: 11:36am On Dec 13, 2018
beegodson:
can you just imagine the statement coming from Peter Obi?... He has just proved what he would do if elected; if he claims this is not an economic policy, then Peter and Atiku's job will be to loot monies and make corruption the theme of 2019!
Nigerians beware, these people are showing their true selves; we cannot have these type of people leading us, when a government doesn't tackle corruption which is the major problem of this country, then he wishes to take sides with corruption and leave the people in suffering.
Vote PMB who's on the side of fighting this plague "corruption", for a better Nigeria.
Read the article very well and do not derail the narrative.. Haba! A sound economist will know that what OBI said is so apt....Is it the corruption your Buhari is fighting that is lopsided? If he was also indicting his APC cronies too..then we will say he is doing it rightly but he is not! That's not fighting corruption. You check am na...don't let us be blinded.. Open your eyes and see.....And your narrative about what OBi and Atiku will do about corruption fight is so wrong...Did the write up tell you what they will do? And come to think of it...what will you do to 1. A person who allegedly steals a state wealth and used it to develop the state by creating jobs, social welfare etc and 2. A person that allegedly steals a state wealth and just stashed it abroad? These are two different persons.... Let's call a spade a spade...corruption is bad but can it be totally eradicated? No. Ask your president if he has totally eradicated it. Ghandollar is a typical example...the video is sold on the street of kano..everyone saw that o..yet he is the best governor and he was given an award...Stop removing stones from other persons eye when you have loads of these stones in your eyes...So my good friend, is this type of corruption fight and economic policy?

Corruption is killing our economy, whoever disputes this has poor knowledge of today Nigeria.
What you said is true no doubt but my worry is that the fight is lopsided ... Its only targeted at the opposition... No one in the ruling govt have been indicted by EFCC and they say they are fighting corruption.. Or you gonna say that there are no corruption in this dispensation?

Truly fighting corruption is not and should not be an economic policy...its a complete waist of time....The corruption that this govt is fighting that is lopsided? Recently Babashir....who was removed from office and who was recently accused was seen attending a function in Aso Rock, what is that man still doing walking around ? Can't EFCC begin to probe him too? And they are telling me that they are fighting corruption... Now Nigeria is the number one country on the list of the poorest country...that is too bad. Look at the figures on the write up...it speaks volume. And my worry is that the Buharists are so blinded by this so called corruption fight that they have completely forgotten about real issues affecting the nation...Job creation is a key factor in an economic policy...Human capacity building is also a key factor.... 8m people lost their jobs within 3.5 years and you say this economy is doing well? The economy is growing at 1.81% can you imagine that? I just don't understand what Buhari and Asiwaju has given those who support them... These set of people who supports this govt have completely been brainwashed... All I know is I am ATIKULATED OBIDIENTLY! Obi's analysis is so apt. Now this same Buharist will shout that Atiku is a thief o....meanwhile this same APC had a wonderful romance with this same thief in 2014, collected his thievery money , called him an ASSET and praised him...APC followers and Buharist then did not call him a thief...now they know he knows what they know, they are casting aspersions at him instead of them to campaign based on issue based..I just don't understand this APC govt...lies everywhere...They speak from both sides of their mouth and you want me to vote them....naaaaa. Kolewerk!

What's wrong with these so-called Elites. Keep dreaming of Igbo Presidency; they won't hand it over to you. Why can't you think, Mr Obi & his likes?
Leave the Politics for them, and see what We The Biafrans are seeing.
Jubril doesn't care what you say, besides you are only there to serve as a Puppet to Atiku.
Stand with Biafra!
Meanwhile, "Operation Jubril Remove Your Cap(Okpu)." So that fresh air can circulate your head & brain.
Leave Biafra and focus on making South East the hub of economic prowess just like the Bacelonians did..They have been clamouring to leave Spain but when they saw it was not forth coming , they joined hands and made that region an economic viable region...Go out and vote out the bad leaders you don't want..who does not want to listen to you..otherwise, your agitation will keep fallen on deaf ears...Be shouting Biafra and be shooting yourself on the foot...if Buhari gets back to Aso rock, kiss the agitation good bye, kiss the leadership good bye and mark my words then, no one will take you people serious again because they will say when you had your chance to get this govt out, what did you do?

We won't vote a man who embezzled our national funds as a vice president. Nigeria would have been mentioned under the same breath as Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai if not of these greedy men who ate away our future. Vote APC for progress let's go to the next level
Vote APC you say....But APC said this so called man who embezzled your national funds was an Asset to them in 2014...He was not a bad person then abi? Now is a bad person after this same APC collected his money , dined with him and praised him......This your APC can speak from both sides of their mouth o......And this is the APC you want people to vote? Well you can speak for yourself....APC is full of lies... So their Twitter handle was hacked when they praised him as an asset abi.......Politics is indeed a funny game....

I just don't know why APC will be using insignificant issues as main issues to campaign.. They say issue based campaign but yet they are the ones going against it....tell us what and how you want to move this economy from 1.81% economic growth ... Meanwhile Atiku is now a criminal right but in 2014 he was an asset abi? These politicians are just toying with the buharist mindset...twitter don't lie

For what...

This is the most meaningless bill passed in last 5 decades

The West Development Commission bill should be of higher priority as thats where they end up running to at the end of the day making the region crowded and demanding infrastructural development

They still wont stay put even if you develop the place as they averagely have an ideology of believing they can only make it in the West
Once there is functional sea port in the east....you will see how the east will be transformed like Singapore... Lolzzz

You won't disagree with me that the easterners are very enterprising would you?

When did it become a crime projecting what the national chairman of PDP said?

He said more Igbo's have died now than during the war and most Igbo's here have agreed with him.

If anyone has any problem with the comment, they should channel their frustration to Secondus and PDP. cool
My problem with it is that...that is not the main topic for this thread...you brought it up and knowing fully well its a very sensitive issue..you let it be and focus on the main topic of this thread...can't you use your initiative ? If you want to dwell on what secondus said, why not create a thread for that to be discussed in full rather than derailing this thread...its unfortunately that the mods are not seeing this...

Well I won't blame you....when some people listen with a hearing aid , they keep distorting information to suit their deafness....moving on....
I wonder where whatever you heard secondus say correlates with Op's topic? You are just indirectly derailing the thread and been very provocative and cynical about it which is so wrong....Leave whatever secondus said, focus on the issue on the thread and stop derailing the mindset of the mods...I have been seeing you copying the mods but if the mods are magnanimous enough, they will know you are the root cause of the provocation... Leave secondus issue and focus on the issue on this thread....the thread did not say secondus said......

Go back to school if you think only my Kin and kith lost their lives during the civil war.
I would have commented on that if I heard you say something about the current millions of children in the dullard's backyard in Katsina who were reportedly going through acute malnutrition by UNICEF. Or those currently going through the NEXT LEVEL poverty, hunger and starvation that have led to some death in Niger State also reported by UNICEF.
Thank you so much for this confirmation of the facts you just stated...You see most people supporting this government see the truth that they have failed us but because they fanatical about it all and that has made them so blind and stubborn and they want to go ahead and mortgage this nation for another 4 years...Its so obvious that the present govt don't have anyging to offer rather than telling us what they have done and they will do, they are busy casting aspersions on their opposition.. I got a news that the VP said far away in Germany, that Nigeria is now an exporter of food yet this report from UNICEF came out..tell me how will those investors that they are trying to woo see this govt? Because foreign investors don't take oratory and rhetorics as indication of provement but statistical figures and the figures coming out from this govt is not encouraging at all....Since I have not found where I can read this govt manifesto...all they keep.saying is people should not allow some people to come and steal their national wealth...to me that's not campaign... It is well.

Atiku and his after thought mode of operation.

- His plan to sell NNPC in 6 months, checkmated.
- The grand plan on rigging the election through dubious electoral bill, checkmated.
- The lie about invitation, busted.
- The quest to boost his angry votes, defeated.
- The plan to bring back corruption, failed.

All Atiku has going for him is his quest to become the first President of Biafra.

Up Nigeria!
Selling NNPC is not gonna be an outright sale....but a partial sale....Either you like it or not, NNPC needs a reform....If you are an insider , you will understand what I mean.
