Farmerakinloye6:Please who can give me the link on where I can buy F1 Diva tomatoes and cabbage? I need to buy them now in preparation for early next year's planting. Ceda Agro, our plug, don't have currently. |
Farmerakinloye6:Boss, we are still waiting for your review and comparison between Diva and Cobra oo! |
Farmerakinloye6:Please which chemical do I use to eradicate small snails in my farm? Tiny snails have invaded the place I intend to plant my tomatoes. They eat up all the vegetables in the surrounding gardens. Previously, they ate up all my germinated tomatoes seedlings in two seed trays overnights. I had to take my current batch inside a tent, but now I don't know how to kill the ones in the field. Help me please |
wiseworld:Thanks. I'm looking for the seeds for planting in my farm. |
bosagro23:Please link me up as well. I'm looking for where to buy Cobra or Platinum tomatoes seeds |
tpben:Thanks so much for your advice. The scarcity of the seeds in the stores led me to consider this sympathetic patronage. Come to think of the ongoing drama about this matter. One man close by has already added #500 to what I priced in order to buy it. The owner rejected his offer and insisted on hearing from me first. He called me this morning to know if I'm still interested. Meanwhile, the new customer has already pleaded with me to sell some portion to him. He was very happy when I told him to go ahead and buy all. He said he has even planted the one that was opened for more than two years and it still did very well. As a small beginner, I don't want to take such risk for now. I will keep in touch with him to know how it goes. Thanks once more. |
Olajobi4real:Greetings to everyone! Please my gurus, someone wants to sell a tin of tomatoes seeds (Cobra F1) that was opened last year's planting season but didn't finish it. He said he covered it very well and intended planting it this year but couldn't because he had fractured legs. My worry is if it can still germinate if not used immediately after opening the tin? Please anyone that has such experience should guide me to avoid mistake. Meanwhile, the seeds are not available in my location for now. The ones available in the stores are the 5g satchets (not Cobra) which many farmers believe don't do well. |
REUBEN010:Wow! I appreciate your prompt attention! God bless you mightily! 1. The fertilizer is Npk 15.15.15 (granular). 2. The crops has no visible symptom of fungi or bacterial infection. Asking for the routine medications. I'm using the three fungicides and three insecticides shown by @Farmerakinloye in his YouTube channel. This is my first time of doing tomato farming. |
REUBEN010:Thanks so much for sharing this insight. This is really helpful. Please I want to ask, can fertilizer and fungicides be applied on tomatoes farm on the same day? I'm trying to follow the recommended fungicide and insecticide schedule, but had the need for fertilization. Can both be done the same day? |
Please is staking and trellis actually very necessary for open field determinate tomatoes farming? I noticed that no farmer in my locality bother to stake up their tomatoes. I'm really ready to be mocked for staking mine, thus I need to know what different things to expect in my farm because of my staking and trellis (Cobra F1 tomatoes) |
Farmerakinloye6:Great work Boss! It's like you have shorter bamboo stakes in the 72 days old farm and longer stakes in the Diva farm. Are they not all determinate tomatoes? I want to know why you changed your staking method. |
I need hybrid green pepper and cabbage seeds that can be grown in Eastern Nigeria, seedling trays, and the type of cocopeat used by @Farmerakinloye. Who can direct me on where I can get them and the price? I can't find in the agro stores here. My location is Nsukka, Enugu state. |

Theanchor:Grind the tomatoes and boil it long enough to loose most of the water in the paste. Get some washed empty bottles of "salad cream/mayonnaise" and boil the bottles also to get them sterilized. Scoop the hot tomato paste into each of the hot bottles and cover tightly with the lid. This paste can last for up to one year even without the refrigerator. Just place them in a cool dry place. However, make sure you use up each bottle after opening it asap as it will not be preserved again when open. Hope this is helpful. |
Please what's the best way of preparing the bed for planting tomato seeds in absence of seedling tray and cocopeat? I want to plant some seeds for subsistence and to learn the ropes. Hope to get the needed materials when ready for commercial. I'm really getting much excitement from this thread and Farmerakinbode's YouTube channel. |
Please I need the ebook. Email:. joyezemma@gmail.com |
Thanks for your response. |
Please have you found any solution? |
House please which concentrate is very good for raising broilers? I had been using Breedwell professional feed which is excellent on the birds but the price is something else.
