1 Timothy 2:12-14; I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man;[b] she must be quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. The fact that a woman is an ordained minister goes against the word of God. God has given order in the body but we decide we know better than God. 1 Timothy 3: 1-7; Here is a trustworthy saying: Whoever aspires to be an overseer desires a noble task. Now the overseer is to be above reproach, faithful to his wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him, and he must do so in a manner worthy of full[a] respect. (If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God’s church?) He must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same judgment as the devil. He must also have a good reputation with outsiders, so that he will not fall into disgrace and into the devil’s trap. Titus 1:5-9; This is why I left you in Crete, so that you might put what remained into order, and appoint elders in every town as I directed you— if anyone is above reproach, the husband of one wife, and his children are believers and not open to the charge of debauchery or insubordination. For an overseer, as God's steward, must be above reproach. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent or greedy for gain, but hospitable, a lover of good, self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined. He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it. Apostle Paul in listing the qualifications of an pastor/elder used the pronoun he and not she. So having a woman as a pastor is rebellion against God, plain and simple |
Lies. Where is the proof? Unfortunately the gullible will believe his lies. 2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. |

I do agree with the OP, especially on point 5. Shame we go about masquerading as Christians yet we neglect the teachings of Jesus or pick and choose what suits us from the Bible. |
@somadino; Thanks. How do you go about doing that. I assume you have to let them know that their address will be used as a fowarding address? In terms of costs, is it cheaper using them to ship to you than shipping direct from amazon.com? |
somadino: I am not quite sure but I think you should check the exotic shops in the malls and plazas around they should stock blu ray discs. What means of postage do you use when buying from amazon.com? |
Are there any stores or online shops in Nigeria that sell Blu-Ray movies? We seem to have an abundance of DVD movies but not Blu-Rays considering that HD-TV's are widely available. |
Welcome to NIGERIA.. People are focused on Aluu.. Meanwhile the whole country has an Aluu mentality..
My thoughts exactly. |
It saddens me that we profess to be a God fearing nation but we conveniently forget what Jesus said in Matt.5:38-39 and what Paul wrote in Rom.12:17-21. We ought to leave judgement to God and pray for those affected by this tragedy and others that have been forgotten like the Mubi massacre and Boko Haram massacres. |
