Primary is as a result of unknown cause but risk factors include obesity,sedentary life style,diabetes,diet,etc.
Secondary has a known cause which could be Endocrine,kidney diseases,congenital heart disease,etc.
I would advise you don't take any medication not prescribed by your doctor.

yes it was,from UBTH,the name is macnol amlodipine and ramipril tab after ycomplaing about it they prescribed another vasoprin,thanks for the swift response.
