Jobs/Vacancies › Re: I Got A Job Through Debbie And Nairaland On The 14th Of February by Joygel(f): 2:46pm On Mar 06, 2018 |
wunmi590: i resigned from my previous job, without any back up, though i was lucky to be interviewed by one of the giant telecommunication in Nigeria, but after being successful we were told to start training, we were actually paid for the two weeks training, but was told to wait till January to start, but unfortunately, we were not called.
so as a sharp nairalander, i expand my search for another job, luckily i saw debbie's post for the job of an office assistant, but as a graduate, i applied as to be doing something pending the time the telecommunication coy would call me.
i was called for the interview for the office assistant job, and in two days, i was called to come and pick up my employment letter, but not office assistant but i was given the post of "Admin officer".
though i have been also been able to bring nairalanders into the organization too, i was also the one acting as the HR officer, so i was told to place an advert for some post and also shortlist applicants, and to God be the glory, nairalanders too have benefited from me as i also did via nairaland and debbie.
i know people who have gotten the job and their offer letters, would come and testify later, when they see this post.
cc: lalasticlala congratulations, please if there's any job vacancy I'm interested, I'm in abuja, |

mcmind: Good morning great individuals
I chose Abuja, Lagos, Kano and Rivers
Someone should pls help with details of these states in terms of cost of living, security nd good ppa availability. gud morning dear.. well cost of living in abuja is high even rivers precisely port harcourt.... that of Lagos I think its on the average except for transportation and stressy life there but Lagos is cool and fun.. I love Lagos scara.. I dunno about kano I haven't been there but I heard cost of living there is low, I dunno about their ppa... but for abuja rivers state and Lagos there are good ppa available.... *SECURITY* hmmmm that one de God hand,, but on a normal ground Lagos abuja and rivers are safe.. tnx Note: what ever I have written is based on my experience/stay in those towns.. |

please someone asked if it is possible for one to carry some of his/her clothes to camp just in case he/she decides to start ppa immediately,, especially those living far away From where they were posted to and don't find it easy going back home to prepare,, will one be penalized or punished at the camp for bringing extra clothes?? tnx |

ELAFRIS: Good morning GL. I want us to reason together before taken unaware. 1. No additional funds was approved for NYSC 2. only 1 stream for this batch B 3. The maximum a state camp can take is 2500 PCM which results to 2500 PCM * 37 States. 4. These people might decide to play a dice and drop others till next year. 5. Universities and other institutions only saved their head and prevented protest. 6. NYSC might do the slashing themselves.
JUST SHARING MY THOUGHTS... I tot of that too, since no stream 2.. |

justifiedcoyy: joygel u are on a long thing o.
Those states have been declared free from insurgency and even d camps in yobe and co have been reopened for batch b 16. No automatic redeployments again fa justified I never talked about redeployment, I base in abuja so being deployed to taraba isn't an issue to me I can travel to and fro when I'm free, I was only saying what some who is presently serving there told me. |

chumaster: If they give me taraba, I will gladly go there. Same with AkwaIbom lol, I chose both too,, if de gimme I go reach there.. I heard from a first batch stream 1 corper in taraba state that they redeployed all first batch stream 2 taraba corpers to other states.. so there is a tendency that all batch b pcm who chose taraba state will be deployed to taraba, since the previous batch B have passed out and there are now enough space to accommodate them... he also said since de resumed work the state allawee de promised them, they haven't paid a dine.... so I'm just chilling and watching |

Nice job u all are doing here, especially during the period of senate list upload on Nysc portal.. you all were able to carry everyone along.. thanks a lot... I could remember when I didn't see my name on the senate list how tensed I was always, buh I do steal a glance at this forum, smile and get consoled, at last I saw my name on 18th, registered the next day, and have been praying for those who are yet to see theirs to see it and register, and also those with one error or the other to be able to correct it... I do appreciate u all... meanwhile I do love to get details from this forum about these fours states as they are my choices.. Nasarawa, Akwa ibom, Taraba and Ondo.. thanks.. |
