One voice Initiative for women and children Emancipation(OVIWCE) in commemoration of world humanitarian day presents "COVID 19 Response Project"

This Response Project is the best we can do at this time and we believe that this little effort will go a long way to help prevent more cases.

We'll also be working with the Community Health centres so they'll give us feedback on how much people are adhering to the rules and also improved generally.

The essence of this project is to make an effort to stop the spread by distributing these materials and also sensitizing the people and how best to keep themselves self.

We're also aware that a lot of them are ignorant how serious this is and are probably fed with half truths and false information.

Our aim is to also spread hope instead of fear. Moreso, we know that this pandemic has put children out of school. This is already causing a huge imbalance as children who do not have access to e-learning and other materials will probably perform lower once school resumes. Imagine how many thousands of smart children staying home and doing nothing

We are currently calling up on you to join our Covid response project come August. We are in need of volunteers in Oyo,Ogun,Osun, Lagos and Rivers State.

Ans: Please where did you get these statistics from? I work with facts. As far as I know, Nonprofits work with volunteers. They may not necessarily be recruiting volunteers at the moment but they do. There is a huge link between Volunteerism and nonprofits.


3. Do you know the difference between Internship and volunteering?
Ans: Internship is basically for you as a person to develop your skill set and advance in your career. It is usually a formal setting with a stipulated time frame more often than not paid.
Volunteering on the other hand is working for others while developing personal skills, now some people volunteer just because they want to help out and not even to harness skills. Volunteering is a non-paid service most times. It can be in a formal and informal setting

4. Do you know only U.N agencies allows volunteering?
Ans: Please these is false. It is not only UN agencies that accept volunteers.
Nonprofits accept volunteers, some organizations then to call for volunteers for events and so on. I have a telegram group where I share volunteer opportunities on weekly basis, join via my signature and remove that doubt from your mind
