Hello house, salute to all the elders in the house.

My profile:
Age.............25
Degree........15
Work Exp.....0
Ielts(academics)............10 (7 in all after several attempts)

Total is 50

I am applying as an accountant general-221111 with BSc(2004), ACCA(Dec 2014), MBA (Nov 2015). My assessment with CPAA was positive but i can't claim any point for work experience as my Bsc was assessed as an associate degree while ACCA was just acknowledged and MBA as a degree. My 11 years of working experience has been discounted to start from Nov 2015 since only MBA was assessed to be a degree.
From this assessment, i have less than 3 years of skilled experience so i can't claim any point for work experience yet until Nov.

My options:

-I want to appeal/query while my ACCA was only acknowledged and it wasn'tnot assessed
- I don't know if other bodies like ICAA and IPA will access my ACCA if that can give me 5 points.
- Wifey is a medical doctor, i want her to do assessment if that can give 5 points, but it seems it is a bit difficult for doctors to be assessed. I
would need the assistance from the gurus here.
-visa 190, 489

I need your guidance here.

Good morning house and thanx for your responses on this issue. I just read about 'dual intention' which gives room for both TRV and PR applications.

Jpandjp1:
Good day house,

Please I need advise on how to respond to the VO's comments and want people to also learn from it.

Attached is an extract of my GCMS note.

I applied for TRV in Sept and got denied in Dec as a result of purpose of study.

My first degree Accounting
2nd degree - Mba
Status - Married
Family size- 5
Applied alone
Working experience - 10yrs
Field of experience - accounting and finance related
Self sponsored
First semester fee paid
Resumption is May.

Course applied for: Global management
Schl : RRU

Issues:
1) Some people are of the opinion that I shld focus on d express entry. My response. I have been in the pool for a while now and my highest score is 367after 4 ielts hence my option of school route.

2) Why global management and not accounting? My response. Mid career change and accounting is relevant to global management

3)Active EE profile. This is where I really have a problem. I need to know how to respond and explain to the VO's concern.

Elders in the house, kindly assist.

Good evening house,

I got a letter of refusal this afternoon as shown below.I applied on Sept 28 and got refused on Dec 22, few days to xmas, this is so discouraging but i'm trying to stay strong. Please i need advise on how to move on from here. i would like to reapply.

Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit
application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet
the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and
Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in
subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can
demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be
accompanied by a new processing fee.

Good day house,

Please I am new here but I have being following this thread. I would like to confirm something on this Canada journey. Is it true that one might/will not get a post study stay in Canada if the program is not up to 2 years. I have been offered a 18months master program in Royal Road University(RRU) and a 2 years post graduate diploma in Concordia university. I prefer the RRU offer as it relates directly to my first degree and my current profession.

Kindly advise me.
