Investment / Re: How Can We Make Nairaland Group A National Brand Bigger Than Dangote Group? by jpjohn(m): 3:57pm On Jul 18, 2016
I can bet on this idea and if it works one day it could help in espousing more young people in Nigeria to the business world to a large extent. Also, I suggest there should be a separation of Seun's business, Nairaland from the idea of OP and send him a personal message or letter. That way, I think Seun may consider betting on the idea. And if there is a more streamlined business target, with well planned operational rules. There will be quite a number of things to consider. Example, how is cash flowing, who should get a job in establishment, do you want to provide opportunity for work time sharing to lots of members, or extend work time sharing to employ more youths outside your network?, what an investor should expect, why should anyone put in their money?, etc...
Rationally, I consider this an ideal situation but impossible is nothing, it is an idea that must work as an innovation. I have looked for crowd-funding network that do business that I would be part of. I have attempted to create something similar with MLM but failed because I was not able fund forming the network.
If not Seun we can still make something happen. OP please tell us what's new... wink wink
Politics / Re: Nairaland Says No To Secessionists by jpjohn(m): 7:18am On Jul 16, 2016
Dear Nairaland,
I suggest we have an official debate on this Biafra/Nigeria war on separation
promoted by nairaland.com.
Profiting from everyone is not just enough. I'm sure people on both sides deserve
to get good discussions on this issue. Preferably from university students, lecturers and
graduates, secondary students and the elders debating this severally may better
educate a lot of people.
Business / Re: Who Introduced The Naira? by jpjohn(m): 10:33am On Jul 15, 2016
the question is who introduced the Naira? I would have guessed right because during Gowon Yakubu - Biafran civil war, we were told a change of currency cost Biafran Govt 1969. about 50 million Pounds. On a quick check. wiki says naira was introduced in 1973, still Yak Gowon was the head of state.
Investment / Re: Invest NGN5,000 Earn NGN16,000 With 30 Days by jpjohn(m): 2:57pm On Mar 11, 2016
I knew collecting money from any persons would have presented a new challenge as because of the Naira-Dollar exchange the cost per person would now be NGN6,000 or more.
I now have reasons to decide to close this offer. Hopefully, with time I can do the fixing by myself and keep most of the profits. Sorry for disappointing those who would have still be willing to take the risk.

OFFER NOW CLOSED.

Crime / Should I Go On To Sue PHED? by jpjohn(m): 11:04pm On Feb 06, 2016
I am a PHED customer and these guys are not nice a bit, no reply to my query, inadequate service yet they charge estimated bills everyday.
Felt very bad about this, I've been in contact with a lawyer, talked to friends about it and most of them think I'm going to waste my time on this without any success.

What you guys think?
Science/Technology / Re: If Not For Whites, Would Blacks Know That There Is Outer Space??? by jpjohn(m): 4:37pm On Feb 05, 2016
I wonder how many percentage of African kids like this 9jacrib would think their race is backward, has always been backwards and cannot amount to much.

Minds like this, my friends, needs education and transformation. Else like a little black American child abstracts in a study, if we have more African kids think the whites will remain their god because they own everything, then too bad.

When you follow history of our world and I don't mean the colonisation made one, you even unearth/trace a lot of technology from a place as African Nigeria. Now you got innovation sold back to you,,,

Science/Technology / Fiber Optic Broadband In Nigeria by jpjohn(m): 3:00pm On Feb 05, 2016
Coming to your town soon, homes would be able to connect to super fast internet I mean around 40-100 Mbps connection at affordable rates around N3000 per month per household, unlimited data usage.

Should I dream on?
Did a quick search on any progress along this line and found West Africa Cable System as a close link if you want to achieve such. Even closer maybe phase3 telecom. I'm still researching on these I'd think them NITel could leverage on infrastructure in place already.
I don't know much so I'd appreciate some persons talking about these issues and maybe suggest any real practical solution.
Saw a documentary about July last year and my thoughts is lots of work might have went on for more of Kenyan internet service served with more efficient and adequate broadband network.
Culture / Re: Origin Of Igbos: Read The Debate Between Two First Class Igbo Monarchs by jpjohn(m): 11:03am On Feb 05, 2016
Even if Namaa is believed to be the first Ogoni settlement, a king of Namaa may still be required by tradition to visit Agu-lore, another clan for blessings because or other reasons.
Just thinking out loud with the above abstraction.
Business / Re: Why Is It Very Difficult To Find A Team To Work With In Nigeria by jpjohn(m): 9:03pm On Feb 04, 2016
More explanation from my previous reply:
Class culture reproduction I think is a close phrase to help me explain better. Indoctrination of attitudes that do not allow the ideal situation of adequate collaboration, making deals and having wealthy lifestyles happen continually. It's big in Nigeria because the poor and working class forms greater proportion when compared to the western societies, and the dominance is such that it may be infesting the middle class too. Someone made a comment on gratification and yes, the working class attitude to reward is very different to the richer ones. All round even, the position of the poorer class makes them at odds to collaborate effectively and it tends to persist through reproduction. Only a positive attitude against all odds will afford the poor an opportunity to collaborate successfully. For example, with the wrong attitude, the poor may look at the deal broker with some contempt, thinking that the result will always put them at the victims end. Worst still keeping aside money for investment is hard or even alien to some poor people.
To some people it's never going to work, is their mindset so it never works for them.

So how does Colonialism come in?
It does because the institutions setup by the colonisers glorified working class roles and this was going to be a trap for a lot of people so they fail to channel their creativity to collective communal good which was obtainable in most of our precolonial societies.
Individual archievements are seen as the way to success and this shaped the working class behaviour. The non working class poor are constantly trying to learn from the glorified false attractive lifestyle of the working class.
Thinking about this, my intention was not to give an excuse for the Nigerian colonised in this case but to point out that we unlearned some of the good precolonial culture and while building on the infused culture we have now, we could relearn how our precolonial communities could have provided better community if it were allowed to grow on their own values.
Business / Re: Why Is It Very Difficult To Find A Team To Work With In Nigeria by jpjohn(m): 8:10am On Feb 04, 2016
Great contributions.
It can be argued that colonisation effect put Nigeria in a unique place in the poverty food chain.
The other reasons why the poor working class and poorest class fail to collaborate and move out of poverty is universal.

Investment / Re: How Do I Invest One Million Naira by jpjohn(m): 11:11pm On Jan 05, 2016
Ideally with N1m you can sponsor 200 persons in my MLM offer. You'd earned N3m but to get 200 persons, 18 years or above, valid IDs you may need to advertise your offer and get real persons who might be willing to do a bit of marketing for themselves.
You may also have to wait till we can get more persons who are willing to take my offer cos it's worth 25 million Naira.
You may follow my post titled: invest NGN5,000 and earn NGN16,000 within 30 days or check my profile to contact me

Investment / On My Investment Offer: Not Scam See My Profile by jpjohn(m): 5:21pm On Jan 05, 2016
I have to mention @Ezemarcel and @micfranklin that thought I want to scam people.
One thing I've learned is to make offers and give out something and I always look out for deals.
I'm involved in an MLM network. For some people MLM must have to be ponzi ponzi and nothing better. But I want to share my reward to everyone in a network I'm involved in.
The deal is, join my team and earn 3 times the number of N5,000 you put in no matter when you join. So everyone is happy.
In another topic I posted, these two I mentioned tagged the post scam alert!
But I want to respond to the whole nairaland that I'm clean. Early on post is here https://www.nairaland.com/2843905/invest-ngn5000-earn-ngn16000-3

I said I would start asking people to pay when I have 5000 votes/interested persons.

5000x5000=25m

Now 25m is the capital to invest @Ezemarcel and @micfranklin. The return is 80m so that's the deal if I don't have the persons no go.
This offer is on my Facebook wall see for yourself https://mobile.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1271333526216992&id=100000210696502&notif_t=like&ref=m_notif
It's not scam my friend I am not a bad person.
Investment / Invest NGN5,000 Earn NGN16,000 With 30 Days by jpjohn(m): 11:59am On Jan 05, 2016
this opportunity will work if the number is right. If we have 5000 persons put NGN5,000 in the investment it'll be sure total return will be N80m share that among the 5000 everyone gets N16k that quick and sure. Everyone is happy!
If you like the idea well like and share and also if you want to put in more than N5,000, that's allowed 16k x number of N5,000s in what you put in.
This is a sure bet if you think of it.
Vote now send me PMs,
I will not start taking any bills until the number is good.
Interested? Request details.
Best regards

Ok, so I have this offer to pay everyone on my team. 5000 persons on my team earns #16,000 from the first payout of N80m
Investment / Re: MLM In 2016: Yes/no? by jpjohn(m): 12:13am On Jan 04, 2016
I'm on to a co-operative and I also have a real estate guy doing MLM. It's not a bad idea if it's sth you really can do. Mind you some co-operatives have multilevel reward systems.
Investment / Re: MLM In 2016: Yes/no? by jpjohn(m): 2:16pm On Jan 01, 2016
I recommend trying several business models if you can understand them. I've been into some Ponzi schemes but I can understand this one. They don't promise to pay you forever and it's realistic
Investment / MLM In 2016: Yes/no? by jpjohn(m): 12:22pm On Jan 01, 2016
Multilevel marketing is one industry that makes more millionaires than any other single industry after the sports industry.
It is not risk free like other businesses.
The MLM industry, from my experience has evolved with amazing reward plans, however the low point is when customers do not fully know or have in mind beforehand how long the target would be reached. Example a marketing plan in 4conner Global alliance network is a 4 by 6 matrix with earning up to N80,000,000 very attractive but no one might tell you before making you to jump into it that you may need to earn that by working for around 2 years and the journey is not an easy one.
Before joining a MLM business this year know what you about getting into.
I have chosen a path
I want to dedicate my 6 months in this year to those who want to make it in MLM. Don't mind how much experience you have whether you have enrolled in one before or not. I want to build a team of 5,000 people I'd work with and help to achieve their N80,000,000.
I know it's not automatic and I won't lie to you that it's easy to get you involved in my team in 4Conner. The simple mindset is if it takes me 2 years to earn that much,N80m, not bad. It could take less that time or a bit more but hey, it's a decision of N5,000 to be part of my team. If you are interested give me a call and let's do this.
Finally, why I think it would work: we have at least 100 million eligible Nigerians, 60million of these online potentially. My offer to help is even attractive, if you don't want to canvas just be on the system and let it work for you.
Best wishes!!!
Politics / Pmb's Disobedience To Court Ruling-equals To Misconduct by jpjohn(m): 3:49pm On Dec 31, 2015
Therefore impeach him. Or at least make the move. Maybe it would lead to sanity. Misconduct is too much and even threatening the peace of this country.

NYSC / Re: Your NYSC Questions Answered by jpjohn(m): 12:42pm On Dec 17, 2015
Why has NYSC not been scrapped already?
Why the abusive name to new NYSC entrants?
Why no graduate employment without NYSC?
How much would FG save for other budget should NYSC be scrapped?
NYSC / NYSC Scrap: What Are We Waiting For? by jpjohn(m): 8:01am On Dec 17, 2015
As part of the austerity measures in the country, I would think FG should scrap NYSC now and use our limited resources more economically.
Imagine what an extra 45 billion naira would contribute in directly providing loans/grants to innovators/graduates.
Many my friends after the camp have confessed to me that the NYSC orientation was more of a waste of time.
I don't know where the policy came from that graduates in Nigeria be deprived the opportunity to be employed if they do not provide NYSC certification but I think it's wrong and should be treated equally as against human right.
Waste of time: we have lots of challenges and should face them directly and if you think about it NYSC should be history.
