The road is bad, you can take the old road which is very good just that it is longer and single lane
Even the old is available all the way to Limca junction Nkpor /Onitsha. From Enugu to Onisha the Express is best avoided
Did you just suggest a state road in place of a federal? while they continue their Abuja sycophance?
shame on you guys.

So where does it say that Chad and Cameroun pulled out because of Nigeria's unseriousness? Besides the major impact of these countries involvement is that it closed their escape route apart from stoping them from using their soil as a sanctuary and safe haven where they run to and remobilize after operating and wrecking havoc in Nigeria. There is nothing wrong if Nigeria seeks and get help from neighbouring countries or any country for that matter. Even world powers like the UK, US etc do same. What you may not even know is that these countries are being funded and equiped by Nigeria via a third party.

Chad's victory, and the need for foreign troops, is an embarrassment to Nigeria's once-mighty military, brought low by corruption and politics. The foreign intervention comes just two weeks

Analysts say the neighboring countries worry how much Boko Haram has infiltrated Nigeria's military. Even Jonathan has said that he fears his Cabinet is infiltrated by sponsors of the extremists. A year ago, he fired his entire military command and the defense minister.

Even as Nigeria's military is humiliated by the foreign aid, witnesses say it has been ill-equipped to defend civilians from a series of vicious attacks. In Baga, Nigerian soldiers fought valiantly for hours, then fled when they ran out of ammunition, witnesses told The Associated Press.

Who is the bigger threat, the man who refuses elections after his constitutional 4yrs OR the man who demands that he should step aside at all cost?
Fix culpability where it rightly belongs. Jonathan does not own Nigeria therefore he has no moral nor constitutional right to last a second after May 29th, the parallel government thing is at the extreme though (Ivory coast quickly comes to mind), I still believe we have competent courts that will annul any unconstitutional occupation of the office of head of state.

If Buhari and his crew insist on a parallel government well, make no mistakes, Biafran's allowed Ojukwu to run in 1970, there is no guarantee that Nigerians will let any actor to run in 2015.

Secondly, if Zhara (Buhari's daughter) will lead/command our platoon, I wont mind, any !d!ot talking over the radio for his fellow !d!0ts to pick up arms is surely wasting his time.

The Libyan catastrophe came to my mind when email leaks by some foreign firms revealed the active involvement of opposition elements in the refusal of the United states Government to sell weapons to Nigeria, this unpatriotic, self serving and blind politicking was what led to the destruction of many Arab states !
You cant make a statement like this without any shred of evidence, it undermines the capacity of your brain.

It is not just because he was trying to appease the northern leadership who acused him of genocide and refused to coporate with him, Buhari who specifically decleard that an attack on Boko Haram is an attack on the North, the fact is that what actually changed the momentum now apart from the acquisition of new weapons which was made difficult in the past by the genocide allegation against the government but also the involvement of mutinational force comprising the neighbouring countries and most of them refused to get involved initially unless they got approval from the African Union which was recently granted. So Jonathan has never been unwilling to deal with BH but many obstacles on the road.
Chad the game changer joined after the Paris accord, before AU made a declaration without a date of mobilization.

President Jonathan and his host will discuss the further actualization of agreements for greater cooperation against insurgents and terrorists reached by Nigeria, Chad, Niger and Cameroon at a meeting in Paris earlier this year. - See more at: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/09/president-jonathan-chadian-leader-forge-stronger-alliance-terrorism/#sthash.foj2s28K.dpuf
Chad and Cameroon later pulled out due to the unseriousness of Nigeria which led to the fall of Baga the MNJTF headquarters

He said of troops from Chad, Niger and Cameroon that were supposed to be stationed there at the time of the attack: "That wasn’t that much of a multinational task force, it was by name (only), because they were all supposed to be physically there," when in fact most were not.

His official story is that they didn't have the cooperation of the neighbours which required African Union approval and that they didn't have the weapons they needed because western countries didn't want to get to them, but they have now gotten weapons from alternative sources.

The official story is not necessarily correct, though. I think they could have gotten everything ready earlier if they were really really serious.
If Jonathan had a strategic foreign policy, shouldn't we be wielding the highest influence in both AU and ECOWAS? can NATO stop the United States?
The sanction on Nigeria was prompted by two events, his refusal to investigate human right abuse in the north and the leaking of intelligence report to Boko haram by his service chiefs, both events occurred in 2014, what stopped jonathan from buying arms in 2011,2012, and 2013?

Amidst sanctions, he is still buying arms from where exactly?

Jonathan is a classic case of failure personified.

Meanwhile, In 2011, the government had awarded a pipeline surveillance contract worth $103 million (N15 billion) to Tompolo’s Global West Vessel Specialists Limited in a deal that shocked many Nigerians. Settle your boys early then allow Nigerians to die for 4yrs before taking action, I forgot Boko haram has disrupted your election timetable the reason you have decided to act, Shame on you!!

Politics › Re: The Yorubas Must Not Vote For Jonathan! by jpphilips(m): 10:35am On Feb 27, 2015
jobinto:
When I visited Ibadan, there’s a Yoruba lamentation that I found quite amusing. It’s usually a retort to a victimization of some description that they can’t explain: ki ni mo se fun yin? In the Nigerian parlance, it translates to “wetin I do for you?” In case there are non-Nigerians reading this, it means “what have I done to deserve this persecution?” Chief Kola Aderemi wrote in The Nation of December 23 that President Jonathan must have something against the Yoruba to allow for such sustained ill-treatment. “Nothing illustrates President Jonathan’s hatred for Yoruba,” he said, “better than the way he removed some Yoruba people from key positions on allegation of being too close to the former President Olusegun Obasanjo. To buttress my point, I recalled how he removed Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola as People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Secretary. Mr. Yomi Bolarinwa was removed as DG of Nigeria Broadcasting Commission, Otunba Segun Runsewe was removed as DG of Nigerian Tourism Development Commission (NTDC) and they were replaced with Igbo people.” Here is a selection of other Yoruba people that Jonathan sacked: Mr. Olu Oluleye, Executive Secretary, the Petroleum Trust Development Fund (PTDF) was sacked by Jonathan. CEO of the Accident Investigation Bureau, Dr. Samuel Oduselu was also sacked. Stella Oduah, sacked eight general managers at the FAAN in 2014, six of whom were Yoruba. The same minister employed 75 workers, 40 of whom were from the Southeast, her geo-political zone. The minister sacked the Rector of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria, Captain Adebayo Araba and replaced him with Captain Chinyere Kalu from the Southeast. The Director-General of the Bureau of Public Enterprises, Mrs. Ola Onagoruwa, was sacked for “undisclosed reasons”. In fact, immediately after Yar’adua died, Jonathan went on Yoruba sacking spree. The result being, other than appointment that are constitutionally required, Yorubas are nowhere in his government. The Yorubas moved from the number one (position of President Obasanjo) to number 22. I’m not exactly sure how this reckoning was done, but it serves my purposes to use it. Whatever Jonathan has been told however, Yorubas don’t deserve this neglect. Many of them voted for him in 2011, but he’s got this weird conviction that those who voted him in the Southwest and the North are the Igbos resident in those areas. I sometimes do my morning jog with a Yoruba woman, a Muslim, who told me that in 2011 she voted Jonathan because she thought that was justice – because Niger Delta produces a chunk of the government income; however, she wouldn’t repeat that mistake again not because Jonathan dislikes the Yoruba people, but because the guy is useless to everybody, including the long suffering people of the Niger Delta. My own friend for many years, also a Yoruba Muslim, gave me the same reason for supporting Jonathan in 2011. I keep getting this “sense of justice” reason from the Yoruba people that I’m beginning to think that must something embedded in their culture. During our time in the diaspora, I had many Nigerian friends. The most religious of us and one of my closest neighbours is a Yoruba Muslim. Obviously, from the stories he told, his old father in Nigeria was also religious; in 2011, however, he told us his father was preparing to vote for Goodluck Jonathan. Make of that what you will but, the northern Yoruba and their southern brethren – Muslim and Christian – supported the president four years ago. It’s the reason why the Yoruba people shouldn’t let this betrayal go unpunished. The fortunate thing for Nigerians and particularly my party, is that many of them have long resolved to do this. That sense of justice will be used to shoot down Jonathan this month. You are an intelligent set of people. Do us all a favour, I call upon you in supplication, don’t vote Jonathan. As of this moment, the only Yoruba group which supports Jonathan is Afenifere. However, even Afenifere is divided. Afenifere Renewal Organization, ARG, said they didn’t support the endorsement of Jonathan enacted by Yinka Odumankin’s group. So the authentic Afenifere doesn’t support the president. The Oodua organization based in the US also distanced itself from the self-serving endorsement of Odumankin’s group. Civil rights activist, Moshood Erubami, summed it up: “No real Yoruba man or woman who supports a pan-Yoruba political and developmental agenda will vote for Jonathan in the coming election, because the Southwest has not gained anything from his administration. So let’s have a bloc vote from this intelligent and enterprising race. Jonathan shouldn’t continue, Yorubas must not allow him!

CRAP!

GEJ may not have done much, principally because anti-Igbo bigots like you refused that any tangible federal project should be in the SE.

Since you want to convince us GEJ isn't better than the long list of northerners that simply ignored the zone as if it were not part of Nigeria, You should have listed Buhari's projects or at least "promises" to do any in the SE when he is voted in.
You want Buhari to make you promises? grin grin grin grin grin at your age you are defining your political future with promises from politicians?grin grin, were you suffering from cancer of the scrotum when all opposition parties merged and became stake holders in the new APC, why was your APGA left out despite GOV okorocha's efforts? You really want to reap from where you did not sow, lol.

GEJ did not promise much, but at least he kept his main promise to make Enugu airport international in order to enable people from the zone have intl. airport like others. Did your long list of northern leaders even consider it fair to let the zone have one Intl. airport? You only remember Igbo is part of Nigeria during elections. Apart from GEJ, Alhaji Shehu Shagari, Ibrahim Babangida and Late Umaru Yar'Adua, every other so called Nigerian President had a venomous anti-Igbo sentiment and did all they could to disadvantage the Igbo nation, to Nigeria's peril and stunted development.
It is only a myopic mind that will not find you amusing, while you go back to read what the post said about the airport, ask yourself who built the airport that Jonathan upgraded?

APC itself takes immense pride in marginalizing the SE zone in their distribution of offices and there is every evidence they intend to run the federal government with the same anti-Igbo agenda. Which is fine, but don't expect those you hate so much to help you grab power. Not to mention the religious bigotry promoted by the islamist APC.

Please don't add insult to injury by having the gut to even compare yourselves with GEJ.

Please spare us your shameless crap!
