Shave everything off, or better still, it should be extremely well trimmed, maybe leaving just a little. Endeavour to do it like a day before your interview, so that it will look fresh!

It's was stressful my brother o.... The panelists I met (2 ladies and a man) one of the ladies wanted to eat me raw. Was the last to be interviewed for the day, the guy was interested in asking me other questions that had nothing to do with what I came for( the meaning of my surname, what my parents do, the primary school I attended and sorts like that) asked what I would be on board to fidelity. The other lady quite lady kind of asked why Fidelity? And that's the only two questions they asked par say. The guy mentioned why would I want to work in a bank since I was already involved with real estate. I told him. The other lady said she had a property in Abuja she wants to sale.....we talked property for a while. The interviewers started hailing her that her husband is packing money in Abuja and other stuff....she mentioned her daughter is calling her on phone as today was visiting day. Then she then asked if I had an account with Fidelity, I said No. She begin enter me for like 5minutes, I was trying to save myself. Thats when the guy now asked what I bring on board, I replied. He asked if I had any question I asked about a particular product (only the guy knew the product). The attacking lady now told me to name all the banks currently running promos ...... I told her I didn't know all the running promos but I told her the ones I knew. The interview ended. In a nutshell I left the panel with a migraine. The guy was cool(or exhausted) the ladies by his side one was nice I think she's HR and the attacking lady.

They were just receiving call upon calls. After they asked me if I had any question, I asked them and after the response, they were receiving calls. We were there for some minutes. I was almost tempted to ask "Is That All"? Or "Can I Go?" But na lie o. I no go anywhere till dem say make I go. That particular man was very cool. He even asked for the hospital name where I was born! Imagine. I answered sha. A worthy learning experience for ma. May God favour us.

Honestly I don't know, neither do I know their grading system. Lets just watch and see.

I was able to steal a glance at the grading paper as my interview went on. Didn't see much, all I can say is that the categories reach 10. 10 different boxes. It could be more sef. Even your neck tie sef, dem dey look am.

for me, 2 were returned. Meaning they took 1.

I don't think it's just Fidelity o, most banks have HRs and EDs in every region these days. They handle their regions, no need going to Lagos.
They most times post successful candidates within the region they handle too.

I just hope she's not distorting the mindset of these young ones. Not everyone will be like her. It's nice to be independent, but sometimes, we need people, we need each other, no shame, no pride. Again, I'm not disagreeing with what she is trying to do.

Well, Fidelity may be different, but usually, the last stage is with H.R in Lagos after which is Documentation, Medicals and resumption of training school for the successful ones( I pray God favours us to be selected).
My interview was fine. Had to disappear sharply. I was pressed and needed to use a toilet!

Actually, that wasn't true. No hr gave us hint on where to practise except if its a personal hint between the hr and the candidate. Moreover, the interview was not static...it varies a lot. So you may not be asked any current affairs while others maybe asked and it mostly varies. Also, I don't know if instruction was passed to the other candidates but I was strictly warned by the interviewers not to attempt talking to anyone outside. And my interview lasted for like 30 to 35mins. It wasn't funny, question upon questions, from 4 interviewers to 5. But I survived, hoping for the very best. Success guys

Interviewer : Have u applied 4 a bank before?
Me: Yes
Interviewer : GTB, Zenith, etc were recruiting. So if Zenith, GTB or Access offers you employment, which one will you take, and why?
Me: Sir, my total focus is on Fidelity Bank.
Interviewer : Why
Me: **Talks about structure, growing a career, awards,reputation of Fidelity, etc. More importantly, "CREST", full meanings etc.


It is very easy to deduce that if I had focused on the other banks, I would have destroyed my chances with a bomb. Mine was fun. Was asked to talk about my self, from birth till now, summarise where I've worked and duties, how my course of study would prepare me for banking, etc. No need to be tensed actually. I think they are looking for those who in conjunction with other skill, are very effective communicators. According to one of the women, "we will get back to you very soon". Lol.


So be careful when answering any question. That doesn't mean they are hard, GOODLUCK

Wasn't allowed to go in for the interview today because the date on my WAEC certificate didn't tally with the one on my birth certificate.
See ehhn if u don't have a valid means of I'd like international passport, Lassra or National I'd card (original not the paper) dont bother going cos she (the HR) won't allow you go in for the interview..
One other guy used expired international passport, she didn't allow too..No matter how much u beg she won't allow!!! Be warned!!! Get all ur documents and swear an affidavit to correct those ones that dont tally with the other documents.

Permanent Voters card was also permitted

Yea, very True. I did with Fidelity in 2015/2016, and the Interview questions were All round. Quick thinking and Gods Mercy is The Key.

Piece of advice. this stage is the simplest stage and the most critical stage. all you need is confidence, courage and GOD. the stage is not for ur skills perse but by God dat showeth Mercy. but my prayer for us, is for God mercy and grace to distinguish his/her children in the house.

Just heard from a reliable source that there would be 3 rounds of interviews. This is serious.

Well that shit won't be fair. Graduates have other things to pursue na. Normally, those who are successful from this interview should meet with the head HR for brief interviews na.... At least that was what I heard
