Nchabuomo:Hmm. D guy mata taya me. Ontop exam wey me I write again? |
I wrote in Enugu today. I studied a significant part of GMAT 2007 and some of the info shared here, but I didn't see anything like that, not specifically sha. The usual maths, sentence correction, a lot of weird comprehension, verbal reasoning etc. I will advice those who haven't written to just understand the basics of answering the question instead of hoping questions will be repeated. I had that hope today and was almost stranded. Like someone previously said here, na residual knowledge I used. I scored 51.63% and I'm scratching my head wondering if I qualified for the next phase. |

State that can boast of solid mineral potential, but is extremely poor, cannot boast of industries, owes its workers, has been raped by successive corrupt govs, has high poverty level, jobless youths, near absent social amenities, and has a governor who just made a baseless appointment. Is that one a governor? |
Amarabae:I think you're the most beautiful girl I've seen this year. |

zainabxel:... Yeah. She has gone for a more polished sound. Cohbams Asuquo worked on her classic debut album, bt as time went by, he worked less with her. Her foreign producers can't give her that organic sound that made Nigerians fall in love with her. Listen to "Asa", and then listen to "Bed Of Stone" spot the difference. |
The OP is "hi". There's a clear difference between pop and RnB. His topic says pop, but he wrote about RnB. |
www.theairmingle.com/why-you-should-expect-a-third-season-of-big-brother-naija/ The National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, has been petitioned by a certain human development group, in a move to poke the Commission into stopping the airing of the popular Big Brother Naija reality show. The group claims to have gathered at least 10,000 signatures from “concerned Nigerians” who are worried by the level of moral perversion the show stands for. Yes, opposition to the show is that serious. Of course there are always two sides to a story. Many others have said that the show represents the least of problems Nigeria is currently grappling with, and nothing differentiates it from typical movies with raunchy scenes which are freely aired. Eleven years separate the first and second seasons of Big Brother Naija. The first season aired in 2006, and the current host, Ebuka, was a house mate who was surprisingly evicted during the show’s first season. In between that time, Big Brother Africa with representatives from African countries had been airing. Any show which bounces back in style eleven years after must have been hugely anticipated, and remained popular even in its absence. Loved or loathed, critically panned or praised, one thing is certain; Big Brother Naija is popular, and barring any actions of the NBC, here are reasons why we should even expected a third season: Nigerian Youths dream of being part of the show Adeleke Adesida took part in the auditions at Lagos for the show’s second season. The huge turn out of hopefuls stunned him. When asked why many youths showed up for the auditions, he said “I think the reasons are boredom and joblessness. Everyone wants the fame and the money. It is also an opportunity to enter the entertainment industry”. Former house mates have used the show’s popularity as launch pads to careers in music, movies or media. A steady stream of participants will almost guarantee that audition venues will be packed, despite the barrage of criticisms the show constantly faces. Celebrity power Going by his tweets, popular music producer, Don Jazzy has been an ardent follower of Big Brother Naija. The same can be said of media personality, Dotun of Cool FM. Celebrities are huge influencers and can sway numerous fans into watching the show. A stamp of approval by Nigeria’s biggest stars give the assurance of large viewership. Viewership and social media influence Being Africa’s most populous country almost directly translates to huge viewership within and outside the country, which in turn guarantees the longevity of the show. Social media has been awash with posts, tweets and pictures about the happenings related to the show. Big Brother Naija has been one of the most hotly discussed topics in Nigeria and Africa’s internet sphere. Sponsorship Currently bankrolled by one of Nigeria’s e- Commerce companies, Big Brother Naija or Big Brother Africa may never have experienced problems with corporate sponsorship. Why fix what isn’t broken? Great corporate backing is one of the reasons why Big Brother Naija will be back for a third season Mixed reactions continue to trail the show, and what it stands for, but it is certain that it has passed the popularity test with flying colours. Expect another one! |
