I submitted my application on January 16th, and today marks 22 working days. I applied as a frequent business traveler, having had 4 previous Schengen visas, 2 previous Turkish visas, and I even submitted my Turkish residence permit along with 2 previous Russian visas.

I am supposed to attend a business event from March 5th to 7th. I submitted an official business invitation letter, along with the company registration details from the Italian company hosting the event. I also included a copy of the Italian international passport of the company's CEO. These documents were all part of my submission, yet I have not received any response.

This is the longest I have ever waited for a visa from the Italian consulate.

UPDATE: I got a SMS now that my passport is ready for collection. I will go and pick it up on Monday. Alihamdullilahi!

No tax records and I have never used any tax records for any of my past and present visa

many thanks, me too never! I’m seaferer and my salary is offshore transfer so I don’t pay tax but last time I saw Tls put that on miss documents for me!

regarding of the consulate mail reply I think is only next week you will get your passport , like the passport yet with Tls contact! My Belgium visa I got sms about my passport pickup and after 4 days before tracking becomes green

Oh my gosh 66 something days, mine was just 44 days today and waiting till tomorrow if they returned my passport back to tls as they said on their email. They said, before the end of the week which is either yesterday or today being Friday. Since I didn't see anything yesterday I am hoping miracle happen today ooo. My travelling day was yesterday 13th of February. According to the security that I met yesterday, he told me that they hard a technical problem moving from the back house down to the new front house. I dont no how true that was but just hoping to get back my passport period, this is the longest I have seen.

but when you track on tls website processing is green or still orange?

like there is network issue there, I’m frequent traveler as well with active USA visa and 4 Schengen previous visa as well with active Portugal Schengen visa should expire this april

My france visa came in 5 days in 2022 also. I hope to wait after the 14th of February which is my 15th working day period.... I am hopeful I get a response this weekend.

I have visited the Italian embassy this afternoon, but the security guy there was telling me that the real problem was them moving from their previous location to another, that's why they had a technical problem and delay. That was the information given to me, and he also instructed me to write them through the new email address given to me by him. We'll I have written to them again and waiting for the next outcome. Thanks everyone for sharing.

Good morning guys, please has anyone received back their passport back from Italy embassy? Today make it 43 days that I have submitted my application still nothing yet, frequent travel with over 15 schengen visa previously. .y travelling date us suppose to be tomorrow. TLS contact number that I have not working neither with the embassy. Is anyone here going through the same course as me? Please share here.

I even plan to ask you if you get feedback from them! I really don’t understand what happened there but frequent traveler should be at least 2 weeks but now getting long !

Please clarify that I can send a mail requesting my passport from the Italian embassy to submit to Canada while they can continue the process and when ready to issue visa I can submit my passport back.

And the ambassy will contact back when decision is ready to bring your passport or not

my first Schengen visa was waiting till 1 month finally I submitted with Belgium and I got my visa! Or try to get from France! Actually Italy treatment is take much time than average days procedure. Maybe they have already a lot of applicants is why no yet appointment for first traveler

The person didn't use my email and also i didn't pay for courier either cos I live in Lagos, also they didn't give me options for pay for sms thou I was charged for visa fee 162k , TLS charges 21k plus then additional 2,300naira for TLS support .....

that’s very sad you need to contact that person in case is not possible Is only Tls can help you on that. Because no email , no number nothing prouve is your application. When passport is ready for collection is only that email will be aware

You will get it 2 days before your travel date. I got my first one 2 days before my travel date.

You must have an extensive travel history to be honored this way.

you can also withdraw your passport and explain in cover letter than the process can still continue. Once consulate decision is postif you will bring back your passport to get sticker

5 days only ? Fo tourist Canada visa this is my first time to read and hear very fast! Your passport is original or service passport ?

He got denied o. He used an agent that f*cked up his application which I dint get to know till after he had submitted.

He was denied due to doubts about the authenticity and accuracy of the submitted supporting documents.

The supporting documents the agent added was just Insurance, flight itinerary and hotel booking with letter of introduction and only asked him to submit his company’s CAC and bank statement! You can imagine! I don’t even submit just only those documents at renewal of my visas. And to top it all, she used fake booking and insurance for him after charging him 5M and 2M+ down payment.

Is long process but can be short usually depend of your family over there documentation and here in Nigeria make sure your family address remain same over there because there will be letter administration will send to her or him to follow up!

I have Hart over 13 schengen visa from this same embassy, one with German embassy, none of this visa that I have to wait this long. This is why I am surprised. Thanks everyone for sharing your situation too here. We are allnin thus and I pray soon we shall all smile and walk pass this.
