2. The fact that you also don’t know that you’re going to get stamped at whatever Schengen state carrier if you’re transiting ( going to another Schengen state) makes me actually doubt your story. You’ve repeatedly stated that it’s the final entry point you’re getting stamped. I gave the example of going to Switzerland and entering Air France and you said I should have gotten stamped in Switzerland.
The minute I landed in Paris , and passed through the gate to the transit area for my trip to Switzerland, Spain or even Italy for example, I am going through the border police and definitely going to get stamped in. It then becomes like a 'local' flight.
So you clearly don’t know what you’re saying.
Even if you have a single entry visa, you can move around Schengen states freely.


3. IT IS NOT A CHOICE, please don’t confuse or mislead people.
Traveling to none Schengen states is a different thing entirely!
I was traveling with my family to the UK and we had a long layover in Paris- we had a valid Schengen visas and decided to leave the airport to town, ofcourse we would get stamped in and get stamped out when it’s time to go back to catch our flight to the uk.
Their are times that I am flying to the uk and I don’t bother myself, I just simply go to my transfer gate to the UK and their are times that i intentionally do long layovers if I am going outside of the Schengen states.
If I had a transit visa then that would have been a different thing.

Also you’d mostly be scanning boarding passes so it’s difficult to end up at the border control area if what you have is just a transit visa.

If one enters other airlines like Air Maroc, Turkish, Emirates and co then you’re getting stamped at the final Schengen state- so If you’re flying to Germany, then you’re getting stamped in at Germany.

You are totally right is not a choice!
Any of first enter point in Schengen country you should get their stamp. For example you are going to Switzerland and your fly is Air France and you pass through Paris. You will get automatic CDG FRANCE STAMP. is not négociable because you are in Schengen zone

Okay I understand you now but that is not recommended. If you use air France to Switzerland by default, you would not be stamped at your stopover which would be in France. But you can actually decide to leave the airport because it’s still the same visa for France & Switzerland (Schengen) but this is highly discouraged because it is recorded that you entered Schengen through France and not Switzerland. So you may encounter problems when applying for Schengen again.

I agree with you but this is 4th Schengen visa , I always enter thought France and do not have any problem, Belgium visa I enter from Amsterdam , my second visa with Portugal I enter from Paris no issue my 3rd one is Spain visa but I enter from Paris again , I just got 2 years from Switzerland this December and in summer I will travel again from paris

nobody will care about you, this is Schengen visa is free mouvement in Schengen zone, nobody will deport you. Is free border sef! Many time I pass through Lisboa to Madrid on road sef even plane and train. Just assume to have idea where you are going in Spain. Don’t tell them you are Spain for asylum incase there is question tell them you are going for tourist have your mind any hotel name to give them or simply booking. Nobody sef will care about you

nobody will deport you, this is Schengen visa and you can using all over the 26 countries without issue. Assume to reply incase they asking where you want to stay in Spain at least get hotel name or simply booking but notes that 95% nobody will ask you nothing. May God assist you for your stay here in spain

My wife is very sick and scheduled for a Major life and death surgery
One of the Biggest Govt. hospital sent me invitation Letter , including doctors telling them I'm needed to be present due to the complexity of the Surgery.
Yet I was refused Visa and reason which I attached. Financial reasons.
I earn over 18 million Naira monthly in Salary and commission
I attached my pay stubs and also letter from the Company which I'm the Executive director.
I support my Wife and child, I send over 5 million naira to them for Rent and upkeep
I have a 2 years old child who is a Canadian citizen.
My first refusal was I did not attach a marriage Certificate..
Reapplying, I attached it with various evidence of marriage.
Now, there excuse is I do not have access to my own funds I was shocked
I didn't just have money stuck up, I perform and run the account so well.
I attached bank statement of my wife with over $55,000 and my own Balance which is super over my wife Balance. But instead they said over $100k is insufficient for a 3 weeks visit?
I'm worried my wife has no one to stay with her during this surgery, in fact the Canadian Govt. has spent over $1million on her health.
I am forced to believe these guys do not really pay attention to Visit Visa Application.
These guys has no human feeling even for genuine family, I have not seen my daughter ever she was born, her mom which is my wife is going in for one of the most complex surgery you can ever think of..

Please I need an advice on what next to do. Her surgery date is in less than a month and I need to be there ..
Do I reapply?
If I do what other document should I add, I added almost every financial document you can think of in the earlier application.

If the balance was $35K as of the submission date, you can't declare the same amount as being available for the trip, as the officer won't expect your brother to empty his account on a vacation trip. E,g a fraction of that or less should be more than sufficient for a two-week trip. $10,000, for example, should be adequate.

You also mentioned that more money was added. Was this an inflow from normal salary payment, or were funds moved from a separate account? A lump sum can be an issue for them if not adequately explained, but if these came through regular income earned from employment, then it is fine. My little experience with these guys is that they are not moved by bogus cash, but the application has to be packaged convincingly.

As a Togolese on a Nigerian work permit, I hope he is not close to his expiry date and has been working in Nigeria for a good period of time to demonstrate his establishment there.

Your brother has a good job and profile. The application needs to be reviewed again with a well-explained letter. He has good chances; some homework needs to be done. If you patiently take your time to look at it again, I am sure you will see some things to improve.

Regarding concerns about the purpose of the visit, did you submit a well-explained letter with a clear purpose (Itinerary) of what your brother intends to do in the intended province? Places he plans to visit and explain why he is embarking on this trip now. Something like that.

I think the officer was not convinced about something. You guys would need to take your time to analyse and review what was submitted. I know it involves a lot of thought process.

Till now there is the money in the account more than 35k

Yes, reconsideration was sent on Sept. 5, and reconsideration was sent to the officer on Sept. 10, and there has been no update from them since. But, it was mentioned in the mail that if the officer deems it fit to reopen the file, then further mail will be sent, and if not, then there won't be any further mail from them.

. But I found in this trend a month ago someone got feedback like after 4 month about the positive reconsideration, there is no delay for that and is very bad!

Scan through the first five pages; you should see the reviewing officer's notes. Then, keep scrolling down bit by bit before getting to the last pages; the Senior immigration officer's notes should be there. You need to take the time to look at the pages one by one.

At least two people review a visa application: the officer in charge of the file and the Senior immigration officer.

You’re absolutely right. I’ve had 6 previous Schengen visas from Italy, both business and tourist, but the longest they ever issued me was just a 2-month multiple-entry visa.

They even rescheduled my appointment from September to November, and I had no plans to travel in November. That’s why I decided to apply through France instead. My new appointment with France TLS is on September 23rd, and in both my application form and cover letter I clearly requested a long-term Schengen visa from France.

So when Italy moved my appointment from September to November—when I had no travel plans—I chose to apply via France, where I was able to get an earlier date for September 23rd. Besides, the Italian consulate has never given me a long visa anyway, so I’d rather not wait until November 3rd just to risk the same outcome of sort team visa always issue by italy again.

Same thing with Abuja. No appointment for Italy visa application for 2025 this year. I had already booked 2 months ago, with my appointment date on this past Sept 1st.

This information was originally from the Italy Embassy, not just from TLS. As a frequent traveller, I was surprised to receive a call from the Italy Consulate and was given options to pick a date between Nov 3 or Nov 7. I then asked why, and I was told there were some issues and that they were fully booked for the year 2025. They said they only gave me this privilege because I am a frequent traveller. I then asked if I could change my appointment location to Abuja, and I was told that even in Abuja there are no appointments for this year.

TEAM, just notice that there is big mistake in my certificate of leave that my HR did to me,
I suppose to resume work from my time of January 2026 but my HR put January 2025 , with 08/08/2025 stamp, my introduction letter is clear that i will resume in January 2026, my Hr rectified the certificate of leave to me , you guys advise me to create web form and submit it with explanation letter or leave it like that, Noted that have before 3 previous schengen visa with seaman profile,
