spyder pls ignore this guy odenagoat. Success comes with envy and jealousy. Leave him let him keep ranting. For christ sake, i have live in anambra before and their is nothing so special. Even here in lagos, the people from anambra believes that they are the wisest. Haba. I went to buy something oneday in a small shop. The owner,an anambra man was telling an abia woman that they are the real igbos and that imo people are not wise. He called enugu people wawa and thinks that ebonyi people should not be graded as igbo people . This is a man that is poor saying all these. Pls anambrarians should do away with pride. For christ sake enugu came 6th in waec out of 36 states and fct. Is that very bad?. Odenigbo pls create an anambra thread and leave enugu alone oo. This is one of the reasons i don't support biafra cos ebonyi will be dead in their hands cos majority of them see ebonyians as fake igbos. Proudly from nkanu, enugu state |
I got this from thisday news. The Enugu State Executive Council has given its approval for the payment of N465 million as its counterpart fund for the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) development in the state. Speaking to newsmen on Wednesday after the weekly State Executive Council meeting, the state’s Commissioner for Information, Mr Chuks Ugwoke said the amount represented 0.5 per cent of the state’s 2014 budget in compliance with the 2010 SME law. He explained that the Bank of Industry (BOI) would match the money with the Federal Governments’ contribution and distribute to SME operators in the state. Ugwoke said the council also approved N600 million for the implementation of the 2014 Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) Conditional Grant Scheme projects in six local government areas of the state. The commissioner said the projects would cover health, education water and sanitation as well as agro and processing businesses. He listed the benefitting local government areas to include Enugu North, Enugu South, Udenu, Igboeze North, Nkanu East and Aninri LGA. “The implementation of MDG projects is a tripartite arrangement between the Federal, Enugu State Governments and the benefitting council areas. “Federal Government contributes 50 per cent, state will get 30 per cent representing N600million while the benefitting LGA will contribute 20 per cent which also represents N400 million,” he said. The Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Dr Jude Akubuilo, said the benefitting SMEs must meet BOI criteria to be able to access the funds. According to him, the governor approved that the interest rate for the state governments’ component of the fund be waved to boost small businesses in the state. “For one to five million naira, you do not need guarantors but from N5 million to N10million, you will get guarantors,” he said. Akubuilo said the state government was planning a one stop shop for taxes and investments in the state. “When the one stop shop for taxes and investment is set up, there will be a tax desk inside the one stop investment centre where all the ministries collecting taxes will be present. “This will help to resolve the issue of multiple taxations,” he said |
chime should pls come to our aid in nkanu east. Apart from nara to isiogbo 8km road nothing for his idle deputy. The nkerefi agbani road is bad and i am sure oga Spyder880 cannot claim ignorance of this wicked neglect by chime. Chime has done more roads in enugu town than all other parts of enugu state it is supposed to be the other way round. Is this fair? To me,chime is indeed the mayor of enugu town. |
iti go aka na tipper bu aja meaning u have hit u hand na tipper bu aja |
@spyder880 Is nkanu east not part of enugu?? Nkerefi road is a nightmare, mbubrubu', ihuokpara all their roads are bad yet my guv is busy ppainting enugu. Nomeh has good roads right??. Stopp defending him. |
after this people will be claiming that they are not igbos and that they are originally from benin. With names like chidi lloyd, chibuike amaechi, austin opara, peter odili, peter okocha, anyanwu and azubuike. Will a hausa or a yoruba man see these names in a document and think they are not igbos. Ikwerre people should keep deceiving themselves. I know that i am digressing. @ op i don't mean to derail the thread |
@cramjones. The bible says that two cannot walk together unless they agree. It also says that light and darkness have nothing in common. If truely gen. Buhari is a saint and has no iota of corruption, then why is he mingling with the most corrupt men in nigeria now.tinubu, ffk,el rufai, timipre sylva etc. Do you know that if if ibori wants to join apc after prison,he is free to join. Apc are claiming that peter obi rigged anambra election but should he decide to join them,he will automatically become a progressive. Amaechi has been in the pdp since as speaker and as gov. He claimed that fg don't want to give rivers people water by denying them a world bank loan. The same amaechi bought a helicopter running into millions when his people don't have water. He is now a progressive because he joined apc. I can tell you that if the worst gov. In nigeria, T:A orji joins apc today,he will suddenly become a visionary. APC WHAT DO YOU WANT,POWER OR CHANGE OF THE CORRUPT SYSTEM? |
We yorubas are too SOPHISTICATED and EDUCATED. We know that any attempt to reclaim the illorin throne will make our masters, (the fulanis)to be very angry and this can lead to total destruction of our land.which we don't pray for. We know that any territory captured by the fulanis can not be reclaimed. The truth is that the hausas have similar traits with the fulanis, which is bravery and an unforgiving spirit, thats why they where assimilated by the fulanis. They joined forces and became known as the hausa/fulani tribe. It is my prayer and I will be very glad if my people in ilorin don't ever contemplate to displease our master, the fulanis. My ultimate dream is that one day, our masters will find it in their heart to assimilate us so that we can be called the HAUSA/FULANI/YORUBA tribe instead of being just a colony of the fulanis. My brothers and sisters,my fellow afonja descendants in ilorin, please don't mind the igbo boy that opened this thread. He wants to incite us against our master. Well, we won't mind him, this will only make us to be more loyal and faithful to our masters. Our fathers served them diligently, we and our unborn generation will also serve them till eternity. |
thanks to everybody that responded. I just feel somehow,i am not even through with my nd and i am feeling the discrimination already. When i am asked if i am a student, i say yes and the next thing is which school? When they hear it is a poly, they just see me as just a secondary school student. It is affecting me psychologically as whenever i'm in class, i feel that i am wasting my time, i don't take the lectures seriously and i just can't concentrate as my heart jisn't there. Most people think that poly students are university rejects. Worst of all,the lecturers keep telling us to buy their own textbooks cumulatively running into thousands of naira and they insist we buy it from them. I just feel it is not worth it |
thanks miscellaneus i am in my early twenties |
@asha Chime is not the problem. The probem is chimaroke. Why did you think peter obi chose obiano? He did it so that a son of anambra north who knows the land can without neglecting other zones develop the area. Ngige did most of his works not only in alor his town but in the entire anambra central. Chime is not selfish as he is not concentrating all his works in udi. Chimaroke however, chose to develop agbani alone and not nkanu. Judging from my prediction,it will likely take up to ten years before a man from nkanu can become governor(chime remaining years plus nsukka 8 yrs). I am sure that chime has not done anything tangible in agbani and evirons due to chimaroke moving almost everything to agbani. Mind you, i don't hate chimaroke but i dislike him for not spreading his projects to nearby town and chose the selfish path.It is my hope that the next governor will look our way. |
[quote author=ketoprofen]My dear, chimaroke is the best thing that happened to nkanu ppls. quote me any where [/quote my dear chimaroke is the best thing that happenend to agbani not nkanu. Look at amurri road, he stopped at agbani and amurri boundary, what about the two special science school, law school, airfoce school, esut, loma linda estate and streets he tarred in agbani. All these he located in agbani without thinking about the other towns in nkanu. The one that pissed me most is the special science school,he should have sited one in ugbawka or nkerefi or even akpugo but alas he wanted everything in agbani and his selfishness will forever be remembered by nkanu people |
thankss benny. Pls i need more people to respond |
umu nnem na umu nnam biko nu what is wrong with the current deputy gov of our dear state, mr sunday onyebuchi. The road leading to his village is a death trap yet he can't influence the govt to construct it . The agbani-ugbawka-nara-nkerefi road is just 17km and he has less than 14 months to leave. I agree that the former gov did a lot for his home town agbani but all surrounding villages like amurri, ugbawka, akpugo, nkerefi, amagunze, nara etc did not feel the impact of having a gov from that axis. The current gov, sullivan chime even made matters worse. you may recall that a bridge collapsed recently in nkerefi which happens to be the next town after nara the home of the deputy gov. pls those of you in enugu, what do you think is the problem? |
thanks lamlif pls guys keep it coming |
I have always dreamed of becoming an accountant. This year, after many attempt,I was admitted to study accountancy at the lagos state polytechnic. The problem is that i don't like to be a poly graduate due to the discrimination they face from their university counterparts. I have spent a lot of money already paying school fees, acceptance and other fees but my dream is to study at UNN Nsukka. Pls advice me, should buy another jamb and apply to UNN while still studying in laspotech or should i just complete my nd first and upgade to a b.sc later. Pls i need your advice since most of you had gone through this path before. Thanks] |

The village where the bridge collapsed, is actually next to the village of the most redundant deputy gov in history, mr sunday onyebuchi of nara in enugu. The road that leads to his village is a death trap. Political lesson no 1 , better to be a lga chairman than a deputy spare tyre governor |
