Nigeria's betting industry has witnessed a surge in popularity in recent years, but the regulatory bodies tasked with overseeing this sector have woefully failed to keep pace. The Lagos State Lottery Board (LSLB), once a beacon of hope for consumers, has abandoned its duties, leaving customers at the mercy of unscrupulous bookies. The Nigeria Lottery Regulation Commission (NLRC), touted as the apex regulatory body, has proven to be the most incompetent of all. Its customer service is nonexistent, and complaints from consumers are met with deafening silence. This lack of accountability has created a fertile ground for bookies to scam customers with impunity. Other regulatory bodies, such as the Oyo State Gaming Board and the Association of Nigerian Bookmakers (AON), have become dormant and useless. Their inactivity has raised questions about their purpose and relevance. The consequences of this regulatory failure are dire. Consumers are left vulnerable to exploitation, and the industry's reputation is tarnished. The lack of effective regulation has also stifled innovation and investment, hindering the sector's potential for growth. It's time for a radical overhaul of Nigeria's betting regulatory framework. Consumers deserve protection, and the industry needs effective oversight to thrive. The current state of affairs is unacceptable and demands urgent attention from stakeholders and policymakers. |

Nigeria is a slave to the WEST under Tinubu.. They's no debate |
I have been betting on Zebet for years without any problems.. Customer service was always good, payment was swift, and site was smooth. Recently because of the trust, i continued betting with them after they upgraded their website. Untill recently, they delayed in payment. It gets worst as the site is no longer online. The customer service numbers are no longer available and i have not less than 3.5 million naira in the account. I was thinking it's a temporary maintenance, but it's turning out to be a permanent one.. Please, does any one have information about zebet, how I can reach them, their owners, or even how to get my money back. |

We mourn everyday as citizens of Nigeria |
Baatunde:This statement is the dumbest thing I've read today. It's synonyms to Muslims always asking Christians to show them in the Bible where Jesus said, "I am God, worship me".. Be reasonable bro. |
This billboard situation is one reason the Agbadorias are enemies of democracy.. Let's say a patriot who has no Party affiliation put up THE NEUTRAL BILLBOARD with the NEUTRAL message, ALL EYES ON THE JUDICIARY.. In the morning, one group sees it and started protesting against it, another group sees it and accepted it. Which of these two groups are the criminals and representatives of judiciary bribery and corruption?? Yes, that's the situation on ground. |
Baatunde:What are all this boxes for, Garri or Eba?? You obviously wasn't paying attention, or you are just dumb |
Baatunde:You clearly did not follow the court proceedings of just trying to be unfortunate. All the EC8as and tons of boxes containing election documents he presented in court including that of Lagos, Rivers, the North, and eastern states where he won massively are enough evidence that he won massively when recalculated, against the forged manipulation done by INEC. Even INEC refused to provide many true copies as evidence. What other evidence do you want him to present to prove he won? Your type have sold your common sense for a plate of corn |
Why is this billboard a threat to the Agbadorias. The message is for everyone.. Only criminals are who engage in bribing the judges are offended by it |
Can't you just create it for yourself, nurture it, sell it for 120k.. And repeat ![]() |
I never wanted to believe this news, but now APC have denied it, it's been confirmed to be true..
