UmuEri: MEET FIRST NIGERIAN BILLIONAIRE WHO WAS WORTH OVER $4 BILLION IN 1950s Not many people knew about Louis Odumegwu Ojukwu, but a greater number of people knew his son, Late Chief Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu .
Sir Louis odumegwu ojukwu , the first-ever recorded Nigerian Billionaire. He was considered the wealthiest person in Nigeria and Africa as at that time. His Net-Worth calculated to be Over 4 billion dollars as of 1950s.
He was the founder of ojukwu Transport, Ojukwu stores, and Ojukwu Textiles. He was the first and founding president and of the Nigerian Stock exchange Market. He was also the chairman of the board of many profitable companies in Nigeria then such as shell oil company, Guinness Nigeria limited.
He started his professional career at the agricultural department before leaving to join John Holt as a Tyre sales clerk before diversifying into the textile and transport sector exhibiting the entrepreneurial spirit of the South East. He was also reportedly the first Nigerian Billionaire man to own a Mercedes Benz in all of Nigeria then. Starting as a low-level employee to a billionaire shows that hard work, focus and determination pay off. It was also reported that his rolls Royce was used to carry the queen of England on her first visit to Nigeria, he was the only African man that own a limousine.
The record of his Net-Worth at a time was not able to be calculated, becasue he was into real estate and owns up to 70% of landed properties in Lagos. proudly NNEWI. |

itsme01:

well that's a tax free way of keeping your cash
Before you ignorantly criticize him or call him a fool/liar
Google search the price of a bar of Gold, Platinum, Silver and a Carat of Diamond from year 2000 to year 2020 check the percentage at which the value appreciate now compare it to the value of year 2000 rolls Royce, or a Mansion in Asokoro or Ikoyi and also calculate the percentage value increase, deducting cost of maintenance and cost of asset depreciation
Is Queen Elizabeth also foolish for owning jewelry collection valued at $110 million USD
. Some Will still make the wrong choice |

OgbanjeProphet: I never wanted to post or say this publicly so as to avoid unnecessary sentiment.
The day I stop eating anything from hausas is the day I discovered that my incurable cough was caused by the food I usually bought from malams. I spent heavily to get cure but no cure came my way. But the moment I stopped eating from the Malam, the cough left me.
Whenever I visit Asaba, I would make sure to buy enough sugarcane from malams. But I discover that I would cough non-stop every night whenever I take auger cane. But the day I take none, I would sleep without coughing like an HIV patient.
People should be careful, these people have access to some powerful and slow killing chemicals. At times they innocently use the chemical for preserving their fruits. But I also believe that some of them use them for weapons.
Be guided oohh!!! Thanks for sharing |

Mynd44: The same way female inheritance was decided on.
When culture is tangential to law, the law is first considered. Davido is the father and according to the laws of Nigeria, it ends there.
You asked how Davido is the father. The law does not see the woman as an incubator owned by her father and he sells his ownership to her husband when she marries. The law sees the woman as a full individual capable of owning herself amd her decisions.
In this situation, the baby is Chioma and Davido's. Chioma's father does not even come into the picture.
If Davido is decided by the court to be lacking in ability to raise a child, he is still the father but the baby will live elsewhere as decided by the court. But to say that the baby belongs to the grandfather is jokes. I really wished treads like this feature often on the the front page frequently with matured minds rubbing minds together without insults . |
