Inferior19: Una go just carry una mouth dey talk rubbish Lol. EVERYTHING that was mentioned is true. There is hardly any light and water issue. The roads keep getting better and better by day and it is pretty much a “no nonsense land”. Most Nigerians that come here don’t feel like going back because of the peacefulnesses of the country. |

Other utilities like water, gas and data will take another significant chunk, u buy water there it's not free
Are you talking about bottled water? If yes then please tell me where in this world is bottled water free. And if you’re talking about tap water then that’s not free neither cos water bills need to be paid. Anyway just let me know what you meant.

AwesomeStormy00: 1) well sometimes that do happened sha but my advise is try apply again, this time use immigration lawyer let them help you to process your document. Yeah you may pay more but they know loophole they can use for you to get your visa. In any case if you visa office give you options to appeal any decision please go for it. Over 50% of people abroad got their visa through appeal.
2) certain document? Do you mean he doesn't have working permit on his visa? if you have working permit on your visa you can travel in and out of the country. In other word he your boyfriend might have over stayed his visa and he is trying to extend it through other means like assylum etc. ( please this is me typing based on my knowledge I'm not an expert ejoor)
What you can do in this case is to apply for student visa, with student visa you are allow to bring people into the country it is known as dependant visa, so family member can come stay with you. Since your boyfriend is there already you get your visa travel down there sort out your registration then get married his status is going to change pleasw try speak to immigration lawyer to explain in details that aspect to you
All the best, please do not give up.
Good luck Thanks a lot. I really appreciate it. |

bigpicture001: 2017 till now is not far no.. Why wail like ur been waiting for 6years..if he doesn't comeback with money now.. U will still run.. Cuz as I know all girls, money comes firat Thanks for your input. Well, I’m not actually ‘wailing’; I just felt the need to express my thoughts and get some opinions and advice... And so far it has been quite helpful. The opinions and advice given by strangers is sometimes more sincere and straightforward than those given by family and friends. And concerning money... yes money is an important aspect in everyone’s life. Both men and women prefer to have a partner that is up and doing with an income. That’s why we both work hard to make our money respectively. In the beginning of our relationship neither of us had a stable income but we stayed together and things got better. Btw, I send him gifts too on his birthday the same way he sends me gifts on mine. |

AwesomeStormy00: Hi @Juliane quick question, why was your visa denied?
2) what do you mean his papers was not ready?
3) you talked everyday?? Time please nights morning afternoon or at anytime.
Reply to these questions before any input.
Take care 1) They didn’t give a direct reason. Most likely I wasn’t convincing enough. 2)There are certain documents he needs to get before getting the authorization to travel back and forth. 3)Lol. (Most people find it hard to believe that there is no day that we don’t talk). With the 5-6 hours difference we usually start chatting in the early afternoon (I have my own office at work and workload is not usually heavy so I can easily chat) , we call each other during my break and also at night before going to bed. |

blinking001: Interviewer :Which man in his right senses would want to still settle down with a woman that's already approaching 30 years? An expired evening newspaper for that matter
Me: a foolish low self esteemed Pussy wipped man.
Interviewer: you're Hired
Me: thanks sir, I'm grateful. Lol. I actually laughed at your joke. It’s ridiculously funny! But if in your immature mind someone who is approaching 30 is an expired news paper, what would you call the person that brought you into this world? Oh and the day that one of your unborn daughters is getting married after 25, don’t forget to tell this joke to her fiancé and her. Have a good day child. |

PlayMaker14: Dear Juliane,
I really commend you for waiting that long for him, trust me, it's not easy... I will advise you to wait a little while if you truly want this man and don't put yourself into unnecessary pressure because you want to level up with your younger ones.
Try to keep the communication flowing between him and his family members and don't forget to also build yourself financially and otherwise...
Please don't see yourself as an evening newspaper, you're not up to that age.
On a lighter note; Apply Kayamanta" when he returns and trust me, he will not waste 2 seconds with the marriage plans.
I wish you well. Thanks. Please what is “Kayamanta”? |

Tajbol4splend: Do what you want that you think will be the best for you and don't do it out of pressure, someone's advice may not work for you, you keep talking about you not being bothered by age but inside you, you are already feeling your age, it's better to marry late than to marry the wrong person yes I must admit that the age factor has started bothering me lately. I didn’t used to be the type that bothered much about age; I spent some of my teenage years with my grandmother who always said “A career is a woman’s first husband” . So I have always been focusing on my career and I went pretty far in tertiary education. But you know how African aunties usually put pressure on us and start reminding us how “old” we are whenever one of our younger ones gets married or gives birth. Thanks for your advice. I appreciate it. |

Jashub: Just be patient: he will marry you ; since it is obvious that he is committed to sending you over to join him. And lastly, make a habit of praying. For who knows whether that may hasten the process.
Peace Thank you. |

Hello everyone! I need some advice concerning my relationship. I met a guy back in 2016 and we started dating. But after a year he migrated abroad and we decided to continue the relationship (long distance). It has been going well. As a matter of fact we talk every single day and my family is aware of our relationship. He planned to come and visit last year but his papers are not ready yet and that’s what has been preventing us from seeing each other. I work in an insurance company and I am financially independent but he still sends me gifts and helps me out financially on a regular basis. He is a caring and loyal person in general and I have been very grateful and loyal to him. The difficult part is that we have been in this long distance relationship since 2017! We plan to get married once we’re able to be ‘physically’ together and I can’t imagine being married to anyone else but him. But we don’t know exactly how long the process would take. I am approaching 30 and even though I am not really the type that feels pressured about age, I know that I am not getting younger and I definitely feel the urge to spend time with the man I love and I feel like moving to the next level in our relationship. He has been begging me to be patient and has even promised my parents that he’s coming to marry me. I talk with his parents ans siblings regularly. He asked me to try getting a visa to join him and he financed the whole process but in the end the visa was denied. My younger siblings are married with kids and I feel lonely at times. Should I keep waiting and watch the years pass us by like this? |
