A serious criminal case involving psychologically traumatized citizens who were unfortunate to got caught in the trap of beastly terrorists, people who were kept away for months under harsh weather conditions, sleepless night etc. these are school kids and adult somebodies' fathers, mothers, uncle and aunts, sons and daughters of innocent citizens you just dismissed their case as mere BLACKMAIL simply because you are sweating hard to protect those whom you claim to support?

Chief not just you feel this way, I'm honestly beyond disgusted.

I've just confirmed that a disturbing number of this government's supporters on NL are utterly despicable. In their warped, pathetic little echo chamber, they've somehow convinced themselves that because some of us are critical of this government, we must have been rooting for innocent children and teachers to remain in captivity, to suffer longer in the bush, to endure even more trauma, or worse, to be unalived.

Think about how morally bankrupt that is.

You're looking at children who were abducted, families who lived through weeks of absolute terror, teachers who suffered alongside them, and your first instinct is to turn it into a loyalty test for politicians? Your first reaction is to type 'Obidients won't sleep well tonight.'

That isn't political disagreement. That's the complete erosion of basic human decency.

I read those threads and I just shook my head. The sheer lack of empathy was staggering. Everything has become "our side" versus "their side," to the point where even the suffering of innocent children is weaponized for cheap political points.

What the hell happened to being human first? Since when did compassion become partisan? When did people become so blinded by politics that they could look at traumatized children and think, "This is an opportunity to score points against the opposition"?

Some of you on NL seriously need to log off and reconnect with your humanity.

In as much as we know how despicable this government is by using the lives of innocent teachers and children to settle scores, we should be glad that the children and teachers have been 'released' to go back to their families after 51 days.

Even if you're not a fan of this government, we can at least glory in the comfort of the families and let the unfortunate people supporting this government be proud that a insecurity has become their badge of honor and only highlight of achievement.

Nigerians are part of the reason why the lesser currencies are no longer useful. Now, we increase prices of small goods in 100s not even 50s again. People like transporters do this a lot, that's why the lesser currencies are no longer useful anymore.

Filling stations sell products in multiples of 10s but they will never give you change in small currency, rather, they will round it up even if you're paying with POS. It's crazy.

If not that they are toothless why would they rehabilitate terrorists?
