TechRev: I never wrote my goals for 2012, i just had mental image of it. i was able to get the land i always wanted for 2012 and managed to reduce my debt to near zero. I also learnt that i must write clear, challenging and specific goals for 2013 and that i have embarked on.so you can say its a good year for you |
I had hoped to accomplish a lot this year but the year is ending and i cant really say I did much. I mean, I don't own a Jeep yet, and I'm still paying rent. I hear news of my mates making serious progress (both financially and socially) and I feel like strangling myself. But then I also get news of obituary announcements about some of my mates too, and I say... what that hell!!. If am still alive, i didn't visit a doctor this year, no accidents, no police station, no loss of someone dear to me, avoided Boko haram/ kidnappers/'Omila'-(robbers) why wont i just thank God for what is more important than my personal expectations. I don't know about you but really, how do you feel about your progress this year? |

Back in the days guys spent time to woo girls, in some cases it may take up to three visits with a lot of grammar and all he may get from the girl is 'ill give you my reply' that will even take another day. But these days all you do is get her number, as soon as you call you hear from her is 'sweetheart send me recharge' someone you just met that day |

Soludo was criticized for not revealing the true state of the banks at the time, but all those criticism came after he left office and we all remember how the banks developed when he was in charge and thousands of micro-finance institutions too. But Sanusi on the other hand, promised a cashless thing i no longer understand, willingly donates public funds to his kinsmen, reduced banks and the jobs they create, closed so many micro-finance banks and the jobs there, even advising government to reduce jobs when they [govt] are trying to create more jobs, so i ask again, is Sanusi still better than Soludo? |

http://www.goal.com/en-ng/news/4067/england/2012/11/23/3550153/qpr-sack-mark-hughes QPR have sacked Mark Hughes after a run of 12 games without a win this season has left the club bottom of the Premier League. Defeat at home to relegation rivals Southampton last weekend confirmed the R’s joint-worst start to a Premier League season – equal to Everton’s 1994-95 opening - with a section of supporters holding banners calling for the appointment of former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp. Assistant manager Mark Bowen and first-team coach Eddie Niedzwiecki will take charge of the team’s trip to face Manchester United on Saturday. A statement on the club’s official website read: "This decision has been taken after careful consideration by the Board of Directors, following numerous meetings over the last few days. "The Board of Directors wish to thank Mark for his commitment, hard work and dedication in his ten months in charge. "Mark has shown integrity and professionalism throughout his time here, but ultimately the circumstances we find ourselves in have left the Board of Directors with very little choice but to make a change. "The Board will now be working actively to put a new managerial structure in place as soon as possible. "Mark Bowen and Eddie Niedzwiecki will take charge of the R's trip to Manchester United in the Barclays Premier League on Saturday afternoon." Redknapp is the early favourite to fill the managerial vacancy, with the former Portsmouth boss also interesting Ukraine. |
I should be like 3 to 4 years old then, me and my 5 and 6 friend ik, asked a carpenter who works in our new building to buy us biscuit in the morning as he came for work, he said he had no money. but later in the evening he called us and bought us biscuits and soft drinks. 'How did u get the money uncle Chinedu?' we asked, he said we just finished the work my dad gave him to do and now he has money. Wow! 'Yes off course' Chinedu said, but didn't tell us that he was paid by my dad. We just understood than when one work, he/she just get cash just like that . So the very next morning me and ik entered our uncompleted building and started working as we see the bricklayers and carpenters do, carrying planks and doing as much as we could with out small hands. We worked for about an hour when ik asked for us to check our pockets to see if money has entered . you can imagine that, uncle chinedu didn't tell us that you get paid after work, so we thought that money will just appear inside your pocket once you work. so we kept checking our pockets and nothing came in , i suggested that we do more work and open our pockets wide so that something can come in. it was our launch call from my mum that took us out of there oh!.. o boy, when my elder brother heard the story he nearly laughed his tongue out . so, share if you've done anything crazier ![]() |

I get to understand that most guys i knew as bachelors with hot girlfriends end up with not so attractive wives. When my close friend introduced me to the girl he wanted to marry, i was taken aback as i knew the kind of girls he dated. Now I'm searching for mine and i seem to understand that most pretty [hot] girls [i don't mean all of them oh ] just don't have the simple qualities i want from a good wife which is maturity and sense of responsibility. Checking the profile of most married guys i know, i can see that they had hotter girlfriends than the wives they settled with. So, I need advice from more experienced folks here, do i have to scrap appearance if i want a good wife? ![]() |

There are somethings you do as work that you hardly get smiling faces as customers. 1. CASKET MAKING: Now how can you grow your sales in this kind of business? Imagine placing an ad like "Buy 2 caskets and get 1 free" or "I'll give u a discount if you come again " your father!! who go come here again?2. VULCANISER: If you repair tyre for a living and you don't get jobs for sometime, would you pray for peoples tyres to burst or just pour sharp objects on the road? 3. D & C DOCTOR: Imagine a doc to a patient, "I've done 4 abortions for you, if you come again i'll give you 50% off" 4. KAI KAI JOINT: A woman walked up to her pastor and complained that business was bad and she needed prayers to boost her business. She sells kaikai, shekpe, wash wash, mokait etc. Pastor prayed; may the good Lord grant your husband the strength to drink from morning till night in your store so that you can meet your turnover, The woman screamed, Pastor Ah! I don't want my husband to be a drunk oh! ehen!! said pastor what about other people's husbands? You can add yours... ![]() |

Hey Guys no mind them, I bet u they cub even be Lebanese. This is what they do here in Abuja, they are not good in design but get jobs. instead of paying artist to do them they put up offers like this and many desperate artist bring up designs hoping to get something. They wud take their time to choose the best of the designs and execute the job themselves, and the hungry designer wont get shishi.... |
