Russia is developing new torpedo with artificial intelligence.

Russia defense industry is developing new mini-torpedo that weight around 40 kilograms. The new mini-torpedo will be silent running and wakeless according to Shamil Aliyev, a Russian expert in the field in his interview with Sputnik.

The new torpedo will be equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) so that it can be capable of imitating the behaviour of Fish and Sea animal.

The turtle-type torpedo which is currently at the research and development (R & D) stage will travel at a very low speed (not exceeding 4 miles per hour) but generate no noise and wake.

The torpedo will be able to stall and lay-idle while waiting for its target and also will be able to change course of attack after being fired.

Mini-torpedo are new trend in under-water attack mechanism and are being developed by many countries at the moment.

This new torpedo will give Russia the ability to carry thousands of torpedoes in its military vessels and submarine and give them the ability to mass-attack target.
