Mexico and Canada are 2 of America's greatest business partners in terms of America exports. If both decide not to trade with America and get their exports from elsewhere,it becomes a huge problem for thr USA. Also, America's supposed invisibility lies in the fact that none of its adversaries have a military base close to the USA. Now, imagine Mexico starts a new relationship with China or Russia, allowing those countries to have military bases in Mexico, just like America has in strategic countries close to their adversaries all over the world. What would happen then?

Mexico didn't allow planes land too. He didn't because Mexico is a strategic partner to the united states. A lot of American citizens live in Mexico. A lot of them vacation in Mexico. I have been there 4 times now on vacation. The Mexican people and the country as a whole plays a major role in the economy of the United States. Most of these importers get forex from CBN and sell in the black market and make huge profits. They also do what is called round tripping. They import petroleum product, and bribe officials at the department of petroleum resources, NNPC and the likes. They get the subsidy for the products they imports, let's say 30 million metric tonnes. They discharge only 10 or 15 million and then take the rest to neighboring African countries to sell. This is after they have been paid subsidy on 30 million metric tonnes.

It is a hard battle fir Dangote. There are too many players and too much of money to be cut out if his refinery is successful. Nigerians and Nigeria will benefit the most if he is successful.
