Karma. The same playbook BAT and the rest used on Jonathan is about to be used on BAT. |
They same playback Tinubu and the rest used to oust Jonathan, is about to be used against Tinubu. O life, how the tables turn. |
So I am guessing his mother is not a part of their family and considered an "outsider", right? |
But the president has the right to suspend a sitting governor? You can't eat your cake and have it. If the president can suspend a sitting governor and declare a state of emergency, the a governor can suspend local government chairmen, since we all want to be mad. |
I am against forcing LGBTQ on children. I am also against forcing our children to listen to violent rap music. So, that statement is very rich coming from Snoop. As parents, we must do all we can to make sure we raise our children the right way. We can not expect the world to do what we must do ourselves. |
I remember many years ago, around 2001. My younger sister had a friend that lived on the same street as us. I had never said a word other than "hello, and bye" to the girl before. She has been to our house a couple of times to see my younger sister, and I had seen her only 2x in our house with my sister. One day, I came back from boarding school (SS3), (my younger sister and this girl were in SS1 at the time) and the mood in the house changed when I walked in. When I asked what was going on? One of my older sisters informed me that my sister's friend came to our house with her parents and claimed I was in a relationship with her and responsible for her pregnancy. Mind you, this girl was about 14. I was immediately filled with rage. I immediately started running to the girls house. Everyone in my house followed me. When I got to their house, I started banging on the door. Her parents came out and the dad was upset. He started yelling, saying after I impregnated his daughter, I had the guts to come make noise in his house. I told them to bring their daughter out and let her say it to my face. The only words I had ever said to their daughter was hello and bye. I asked that if they refused to bring her out I was going to go get the juju, Ayilara for all of us to swear. The mum then asked everyone to come inside. I was crying. The mum then made a statement that shocked us all. She said, "the way he (me) acting makes me believe that he is innocent." She yelled for her daughter to come out from her room. When the girl came out, her dad said to her, "I am only going to ask you one time, is this the person (pointing to me) responsible for your pregnancy?" She started crying and said "No, daddy, he is not." I could see the huge disappointment in the man's face. He started apologizing to me and my family. We pushed and ask who was responsible, she said it was a guy down the street that sold spare parts in Ladipo market. She said the guy would come pick her up during school hours and take her to his apartment, they have fun and then drop her off right before school was over for the day. When she was I asked why she lied that it was me, she said, if her she lied to that it was me, maybe my parents would send her abroad to deliver the baby. I very angry, but was relieved, my family was too. We later found out that the guy and the girl ran away together. She ran away from home and there were rumors that she left with the guy. He abandoned his apartment and no one heard from them. |
If you think they only reason people are leaving naija is because of hard times, think again. Let me use this vidoe as an example: If one of those people eventually find their way to Europe and become a citizen of an EU country, guess what? Their children and children's children will never have to stand on a line that that ever again. Getting a "strong" second passport is one of the best investments you can make in the lives of your children. The ease of movement and life it provides them, millions can not buy. There are people I know who have remote jobs, and they travel a lot with ease. That is due to the fact that they a great passport that gives them access to over 180 countries visa free. Someone with an American passport for example can easily relocate to Canada, The EU, and to most other countries hassle-free. immortalcrown: |
100% agree. To show he is indeed a statesman and has the collective interest of the citizens, he should support a Obi/El- Rufai ticket. |
If you agree that they are broke, then stop asking them for money. Putting pressure on someone you agree is "broke" to send you money means you are evil. |
Always expecting from others. Be careful of people with that kind of behavior. They will ALWAYS betray you. |
Hopefully, Nigerians will one day understand that "most" politicians are in politics for themselves alone. I respect this commissioner. It is very rare to experience this in Nigeria. We must all understand that these governors decamping to APC are not doing so because APC has succeeded, they are doing so for their own political survival. They are not sure of a 2nd tenure, if the APC backs another candidate with federal might. They have all seen what happened in Edo state. Our electoral commission is not truly independent and they know the courts are the same. So to survive, they must pitch their tent to the APC. Do I blame them, NO. Am I surprised, NO. |
LordBiden:People like you are the biggest problem Nigeria is facing . Shallow minded and inexposed. All the criminal politicians that have put you all in the mess you are in, do they have dreadlocks? Better educate yourself. |
benardtotti:She was her own worst enemy. She went far right too quickly thinking it would appeal to the whites who are for right as well. But, whites will only line by a far right leader who is also white. A far right leaning black leader is seen as someone who.has betrayed her own people for power and not as someone who truly believes in conservative policies. |
This list was obviously created by someone who has never traveled to the western word. I will use psychology as an example. If you have a Psychology degree, when you get here if you want to own your own practice, you will have to further your studies. Getting a masters in school psychology, industrial psychology, etc will greatly improve your chances of making good morning. Getting a PhD, in any of thr above mentioned will set you up for generations. If your work hard you might be making up to 500 thousand dollars a year. Now for the bine of contention. If you have just your bachelor's in psychology, you can sit for certain certifications, depending on the state you are in. Let's use Texas as an example, because that's where I reside. You cam earn as much as $100 per hour just doing evaluations for peopel who are about to do surgery to determine if they are in teh right frame of mind. The company you work for creates the template and all you do is ask the patients questions, fill out there paperwork and note if there are any red flags. It's as simple as that. Stop this nonsense of saying degrees are useless. With a bachelor's degree, the least amout of job you can get is $25 per hour, unless you are not a confident person. |
If it is hotter in America, why do they keep sending their children there? |
yarimo:No, he is not. However, it is crazy that the president of a nation will seek medical tourism abroad, yet, ask the citizens to believe in Nigeria and trust that the president knows what he is doing. If the president is seeking the best abroad, what message then would he have to stop the japa syndrome? |

I don't expect anything less from teh suppose table shaker. He is doing the job he has been alleged to be paid to do. From the moment he met with Ribadu, he has been demarketing Igbos, and strategically continuing the narrative that Peter Obi is an "Igbo" candidate. This, of course is being dine with the intention to ease Tinubu's reelection and set the part for Ribadu to become president after Tinubu. Ribadu is using resources as the National security advisor to clear anyone in his path. He has schemed El-Rufai out. We understand the games they are playing. We just didnt expect them to play it their openly. |
And tomorrow, someone will say you should not japa. There are no signs that this kind of political madness will ever stop. If you have the opportunity to japa, please do, as long as you have a plan in place. These politicians don't care about us. They only care about their pockets and winning by hook or crook. We have no TRUE activists in Nigeria. ALL of them have been bought. |
Tinubu has just opened the door for the military to take over the nation. When the tension in the Niger Delta escalates. The herdsmen issue is already increasing in the middle belt, thr military will step in and declare a state of emergency. When that happens, who will Tinubu ask to fight for him? If he thought that was the solution to the problem in Rivers, then it can also be the solution for Nigeria as a whole. I thought he was wise, but he has just put an end to his political career. |
What BAT fails to realize is that he has just opened the door for a possible military takeover. If he can declare a state of emergency in Rivers state because of tensions, then the military can takeover the presidency and declare a state of emergency because of of tensions all over the nation. BAT may soon find out the difference between state and federal politics. |
If after this, PDP do not expel Wike, then they will be done for life. I strongly believe that some big wigs in PDP are moles for the APC. |
Mark my words on this day...... Tinubu will do only one term as president. He has.clearly shown that he is biased. If he had suspended Wike as FCT minister, people would praise him for courage and fairness. Instead, he will have governors in other states worried about this high handedness and overreach from the president. Maybe, just maybe the governors will feel they are better off woth BAT doing only one term. He has just given ammunition to his opponents. He obviously has lost the Ijaw votes. It will even get worse if soldiers posted to Rivers kill any Ijaw citizens. We are slowly going back to the political era of the early 2000s. |
Give poor man small power and they turn dictator. The average Nigerian has dictatorial tendencies. Most of them just don't have the resources or power to show it. It takes a lot of emotional intelligence for someone to be in position of power or be rich in Nigeria and not be a dictator. |
The Bible says, "by their fruit, ye shall.know them." El Rufai's sons are the fruit from a very bad tree. No one is fooled. Their tweets echo the sentiments they have heard multiple times growing up in their father's house. These are the things that have molded them into the societal nuisance that they are today. |
If you have to post the side view of the wife, then you are not sure about her beauty. By the way, I think beauty goes beyond a woman's physical attributes. Intelligence, morals, emotional maturity, kindness, loving and caring, etc, are more important than physical beauty. |
Europeans can do without whiskey, but you see the so called elites in American who have created a celestial podium for themselves as the high and mighty of the society will definitely turn on Trump once they can not have access to their French champagne and Italian wine. |
The ICC is can only go after "3rd world leaders." The same ICC issued an arrest for Putin of Russia and Neteyanhu of Isreal, yet no arrests have been made. Instead, America threatened the ICC judges with arrest and a ban if they continued to call for Netanyanhu's arrest. |
People have to understand that , this will only happen in the beginning, when you just arrive. You have to Japa with a plan. While working these menial jobs, you must be actively pursuing your papers to make sure you are legal. Once you get your papers, you have to start upgrading your skills or certifications. Even if it means going back to school. Once you settle this, you increase your earning potential. As long as you dint arrive abroad with a green card or citizenship, you have to go through this process. It doesn't last forever, so take it one day at a time and make sure you have a solid plan. |
The only Nigerians she might be referring to are Nigerians without legal status. Trust me, if you have your papers in a country like America, the sky is your starting point, unless you are lazy. I came to America 10 years ago. Today, I am a citizen, married to a Doctor and have 2 kids. We own our home, have a couple of investment properties here. My wife has her own practice and I work for one of the top 5 tech companies. This was after multiple certifications. For the record, I studied computer science in Nigeria. My wife and I make a combined $700k a year. We are not frivolous with our money. We have a couple fo Nigerian kids, about 10 of them, that we sponsor their education. The plan is to sponsor then until they are done with university. All of this in just 10 years. Like I said earlier, unless that person doesn't have papers or are just lazy. If you work hard and are strategic with your plans, you will make it good in America. |
If I were her, I would take this petition to the international criminal courts. If the senate wants to be petty, then she can be as well. I will file a human rights violation with the international criminal courts. I will ask for a visa and travel van fir every member of the senate ethics committee that voted in favor of her suspension. Take it international. |
It is not very clear that the allegations might be true that Gbajabiamila, the chief of staff to BAT was the master mind behind Obasa's impeachment. Rumor has it that Gbaja is eyeing the Governor seat in 2027. When Obasa expressed interest, it threw spanner to the plans of Gbaja. Obasa would be a serious threat to his plans. Amongst the contenders for the seat in 2027, Obasa poses the most threat. He has street credibility, even more than Gbaja. He has the ears of BAT, and the 1st lady, Remi. Gbaja wanted to cut down the powers of Obasa before the battle.got serious. Unfortunately, Oluremi stepped in and asked BAT to make sure Obasa gets his seat back. Obasa has been very loyal to BAT and his family. Remi reminded BAT of that and how it would look if a loyalist who has done nothing wrong is outsted and treated in such manner. BAT agreed and asked for BAT to be reinstated as speaker. This is definitely not the end of this matter. If Tinubu feels Gbaja went behind his back to plan this couple and destabilize BATs lagos base, then Gbaja might be given the boot as Chief of Staff. Only time will tell. |
