Yes, the LOI is from the Rotary International Convention. A generic LOI was issued to all participants by the organisation with a special code generated by the IRCC, which was added during the application. Meanwhile, the LOI does not state or indicate the role of the participants, as pointed out by the VO. However, my introduction/ explanation letter clearly stated my roles and why I wanted to attend the Convention.

My financial situation is very okay. I have a permanent job. I am the marketing manager receiving a monthly salary of over N1,250,000 and N135,000 as imprest. I have been working with my company since 2014. All documents relating to my employment, including job offer letter, introduction letter, board resolution letter, two promotion letters, leave letter, work ID, Salary payslips, tax receipt, and six-month bank statement showing my monthly salary, with a closing balance of over 58,000,000. I even added the company's CAC registration documents.

Submitted my marriage certificate, birth certificates for four of my kids, my birth certificate, wife's birth certificate, my NIN children's NIN, and my wife's NIN.

Two landed property documents worth over 25,000,000.

Two House property documents worth over 80,000,000

The above are part of my socio-economic ties, which are strong enough to the best of my knowledge.

I am sure you were given a deadline to submit the requested documents. If I were you, I would start the process of obtaining the documents to meet up with the deadline.

As for the police character report, the VO wants to be sure you have no criminal records in your home country or maybe a country where you must have lived up to 6 months in the last five 5years. Then, the tax clearance is to further prove your employment status if you claim in your application that you are employed. This is a sign that your visa will be approved if the documents requested are provided timely. Goodluck!

Hello nairaland Family. I just got my GCMS note this afternoon, how do i tackle this issue and get it right. I submitted my employment letter and payslip but the VO said it was not submitted. I was also self sponsored, but from the note, I saw, Sponsor's source of funds poorly documented and there is limited evidence showing how financial sponsor came to accumulate their saving, which I didnt use any sponsor. Please, how do i tackle this and get it right in the second application. What are the documents needed for this. Your inputs will be highly appreciated.

Write a Reconsideration Letter addressing the concerns raised by the visa officer and attached those documents he claimed was missing in your application and send it through webform to IRCC. I did something like that for my wife recently and the application was approved, but for a visit visa.

Account Statement is optional under the CAN+ program. Otherwise, you do not need to submit POF (account statement) if you have a valid US Non-Immigrant Visa as at the time of your application.

You said you had U.S. visa earlier and now has a Canada visa approval. If you claims your passport is missing just to get canada visa 10 years , please be aware that the U.S. and Canada share a database. If you later appear at the U.S. border with the same passport you reported missing, you could face some issues. Be careful!

The embassies has nothing to do with renewal of passport. It ends with the Nigerian Immigrations. So the embassy does not know the reason why you renewed your passport.

In your case, you can renew on the ground that your passport got missing hence the need for renewal. Meet any immigration officers in any station, and they will attend to you. This will require a the usual financial cost. Don't forget to tell them the urgency so you don't miss out the deadline for submission. I hope this helps.

Yes, it was exactly the same documents I submitted during my application in December. That is, I repeated same documents during my submission in January but with a reprinted Account Statement. Please take note that the account statement must not be older than a week during submission.

Please, has anyone applied for TRV without proof of financial support as stated in the new checklist . It's stated that if you have an existing US visa, you don't need proof of financial support for your TRV application

Best advice is for you to include proof of financial support in your application just to be on the safe side.
It will make no difference if you add it up. If they don't want it, it may be overlooked by the VO. Thanks.

Sorry it's coming late. Yes I have a very good travel history. Been to the U.K., U.S, Europe (Paris, Italy and Amsterdam on transit), South Africa, Tanzania, Ghana. And still have a valid 2years U.S visa and a valid 5years UK visa.
Documents submitted are as follows:
1. Complete Bisiness registration document.
2. Building plans and Land Deeds.
3. Marriage and children birth certificates.
4. Introduction letter from my company introducing me as the C.E.O of my company stating how long I have been the C.E.O and my purpose of traveling to Canada and for how long I will be there.
5. Personal Introduction letter and Consent Letter from wife.
6. Purpose of Visit letter. (Very detailed one).
7. Copies of visas pages in my Passport both valid and expired including pages of entry stamps on passport (Proof of Travel History).
8. Travel Itinerary (This should clearly state the places to be visited while in Canada and how you intend to visit these places).
9. Flight Itinerary and Hotel Reservation.
10. Last Four Months bank account statement.
11. Letter of Reference from Bank.
12. Evidence of income (Tenancy Agreement, Evidence of business transaction from company).
That's all I can remember for now. Please note that all document should be legit and not fake. If forged and they noticed it, might result to 10years ban or life ban. I hope this information helps you.

Submitted my application last week 13th Dec., 2017 and just today 19th Dec., 2017 I got a message and mail "Visa application, Tracking Id No. – Your processed passport is ready for collection , on at the Canada Visa Application Centre. Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email." also "Visa application, Tracking Id No. 20171213CALATRVXXXXX – Passport has been couriered from the Canada Visa Application Centre, on 19-12-2017 vide courier partner. Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email. " and the last email reads "Visa application, Tracking Id No. – Passport has been couriered from the Canada Visa Application Centre, on vide courier partner. This decision was made within 6days of submission. I am a bit afraid of the outcome though. It takes God to make it happen.
