A friend expressed his fear about money to spend during burial when his very old parent die.
I have seen consequence of person that borrowed money from bank and lend it to a friend to bury his parent. Bank is chasing him up and down to pay back the money for many years. That is insanity.
Dont lend money to anybody to do burial.

I remember decades ago an uncle of my mother demanded big burial, he was pastor of his church in our village.
He died in the middle of the year and his body was kept in mortuary till december. It was the biggest family event I attended in the village, ayinla kollignton was invited to entertain people. A rich uncle paid all the bills.

Do not put yourself in bad financial situation.
