spectacular007: @junkerhill...am nt a broda, am a sista...nd am nt new 2 dis forum, infact I joined wen der we're jst 99pgs..nd I ve read frm 1 to end. Am croosed bkos of d rude manner pple answer questions, dats all..Sorry for taking you to be a brother. If you are not a new member, then encourage the new ones to read from the previous page and be upto date of everything on this thread. Don't you know its really annoyin to see a question being asked 5 times even when the question was answered on 2/3 previous pages. As I go through this thread, if I see a post that treats my interest I will either bookmark the page or copy down whatever that was treated there to avoid asking already asked question. I pray we should all try and stop making this thread boring. |
folaonhigh: if u want to sworn affidavit can only u go, or must it be with your family member? You can go by yourself. |
spectacular007: Good day house, pls I want us 2 get smthng clear, I believe d reason y a lot of us joined dis forum, is 2 tap information..bt I see no reasn wen a question is askd, instead of answering politely, it turns out 2 b an indirect insult, I believe evry1 here has learn one or two thngs, y dnt u share? Pls I urge us 2 coperate, nd if questions re askd, pls let's answer politely..smtyms we even refer pple bac to page 1, its unfair, its sumthng u can answer immediately, perhaps dat persn mite b new 2 dis forum..pls I beg of us..THANK U. Best wishes to 2014 expectantNo offence brother, it has been one of the norms of this thread for a new member to read from page one to date or better from 100 to date of this thread. By so doing, you will learn so many things you can't even imagine. There, you will be surprised at some of the questions asked and also the intelligent answers to most of the questions by some honourable members of this thread. It will save you from unnecessary mistakes that have never came across on your mind and also save you from asking questions that has been well answered and seriously dealt with in the past. You are only doing yourself a favour by reading from the previous pages. Nobody is stingy with information but don't deny yourself the opportunity of gaining more knowledge from the varieties of questions that has been answered here simply because you find it difficult to read from previous pages. |
Ajay Sammusi: Hi Everyone,You have notin to worry about brother. |

brother I just sent you a request. |
femsoj: the age limit is 35,am not sure of the height, but your weight must be between 125 and 180as for the weight, what is the SI unit, is it in Kg/pounds? |
femsoj: I signed my 8years contract with the US army yesterday(4 yeas as an active member and the remaining 4 years as a reserve member) . To those having it in mind of joining the US army, there are so many advantages in it. Most people's fear is that they might be deploy to the battle field, but one thing about the US army is that you already know the job you will be trained for before signing your contract. Those people given infantry (combat job) are the only one that will be trained in fighting at the war front. You have the right to pick the job you want to do in the army, so far you meet the cut off mark for that job in their entrant exam (ASVAB test) . BENEFITS : You will become a US citizen within 3 - 6 month of joining the army (I.e, within the period you are in the basic and advance training) . Up to 53,200dollars has tuition fee, if you wish to go back to school. There is something they also called GI bill. This is the money they will be giving to you after leaving the military to further your education has well and the benefit can also be transfer to your spouse or children(for you to qualify for this benefit, they will be deducting 100dollars on your salary every month while you are still in active duty) . Other benefits: there is no need of thinking about paying for house rent, they are the one responsible for your accommodation and feeding. I'll be going for my basic training for 9weeks in may at South Carolina and for my advance training for another 7weeks at Virgina. For more information on how to join the US army and the benefits in it, you can visit :www.goarmy.comWow. I'm really impressed. This is a very rare information. And I have been looking forward for this kind of info cos joining the military has been on mind since secondary school. @Femsoj, please can I have your contact, either phone number (US), email or fb. |

DemolaNg: @ALL: Join me give Glory to GOD. On April 16, I got to the interview timely with my family of four, as early as 6.20am before the 7am appointment were called to queue up. All protocol observed.Thank God. May His name be praised. Go and live your American dream with your family. |
Yemmyc2012: Hello house....I played d DV lottery wen I was single.the result came out after I have gotten married,I sent my package inclusive of my husband and our wedding cert.we were scheduled for interview afta I had my child.pls advise on wat 2 do?.I will advice you to read from page 100+ to date. You will have a lot to learn. You will learn more than what we can just say to you now because a lot has been said in the past. |
shindara77: thank you junkerhill, but the problem is i can't find it. i have been searching for days now and no where to be found. i have my Case number and every other thing, but the print out with the confirmation number is lost. is there nothing else i can do?If you have your confirmation number somewhere, then you have nothing to worry about. You don't need the print out on the day of your interview but you will be needing your confirmation number to printout your 2NL because that's is your gate-pass into the embassy. Without your 2NL, security won't allow you into the embassy. |
shindara77: Please i need help ASAP. I cannot find the print out with my confirmation number and i have received the email for the 2nd NL to check for my interview date and time with my confirmation number. What do i do? Please house help me with info!!!sorry about that sister/brother, there is absolutely nothing you can do without with out your confirmation number. Your confirmation is the only key that will unlock your GATE-PASS (2NL) to the embassy. @all, I strongly advise, you make several copies of your confirmation number. As for me, I have 4 photocopies of it, I wrote it down on my diary and on my jotter. I save it on my 2 emails and also on my phone. It is never too late to duplicate yours now. |

sozen2010: hello Nairalanders,Congratulations. |
2 members of this family will be coming out of the embassy this morning with great excitement and their mouths filled with testimonies. They are HONEYDEE (Nigerian) PREPREWOW (kenyan) I wish them both success and also rejoice with them after their interview. |
jidex001: Medical is valid for 6months. Medical expires before visa no matter how and that is why we advise people on dis forum to do their medical 2 to 3wks to the interveiw. So u could have enough time to hustle. Anoda advise is make sure u travel before ur medical expires. Maximum. @ d 5th month of your medical when ur visa will be fourth month to be on a safe side but if u have a enough cash, u can even travel immediately u collect ur visa. God help us all.Gbam!!!! You have said it all brother. Let him who has ear hear what the spirit (jidex001) is saying. |
Godhelpmeooo: Thanks to GOD ALMIGHTY for everythings HE has been doing in my life,i got my green card today(22/4/2013)thank you JESUS,am using this opportunity to pray for those going for their interview that you will be favoured in JESUS name.honydee,ur visa is granted in JESUS name(amen)GLORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!congratulations brother. Wish u success in your pursuit of happiness and better life over ther at USA. |
simayanki4real: Hello forumites,I thank God for the journey mercy to america and for the success of the interview. I must tell you that your action towards this thread is not commendable. This thread gave you so much and made many things open to you that, it's asking of only one thing in return and that is your interview experience. It took you a great deal of time to let us know the out come of your interview, and when you finally came, you gave us half of the interview without full interview experience. Not only did you gave half testimony to the house, you filled the whole answer with bla bla bla bla bla bla and promised to give the full gist. Here you are now at the states apologising for your wrong acts towards the house. If everybody had done the same how would we all learn and be successful. Its not a good act and I pray we all should have conscience and human heart for others. So that many of us would be successful and see others in USA. |
I Hate 9ja: Non of NL dv winner as joined the USA army....why?the reason are these: 1): most don't want to die in another man's country fighting another man's course. 2): Most of the selectees don't have it in their mind to join the military when the get to USA. 3): Most of the selectee are above the age of joining the selective service, which is from 18-26year. |
preprewow: btw, we went to the embassy the day before our medical exams 2 knw whether we r eligible with my educational qualifications or not but the lady in nairobi US embassy told us that she cnt ans our question until our interview day then we told her that how we can go tru our medical exams if we cnt knw that as we know that money will be non refundable if we dnt qualify so she said they will send us 4 medical exams if my education certificates r ok so my husband n I didnt go for our medicals because we dnt hv money to waste & tomorrow is our interview day so house do you think i shuld carry only my education documents 2 the embassy ?because we knw we wont be interview tomorrow unless we go tru our medical exams. Do u think these ppl will schedule another interview appointment if they say my education certificates r ok? though we ve tried to schedule another interview appointment tru online today but there is no available interview date. Gentiger, temmamy, spoondar, junkerhill & the rest experts on nairaland forum..please kindly advice us.Thanksthere is nothing much to be said because I know by now u are already at the embassy, but for the benefit of others. Since your are yet to complete your 2years degree course, go to the embassy with other certs you have. when they ask, tell them your still an undergraduate. As for your medical, I won't advice you to tell lies. Let them know your worries and the reason why you have not gone for your medical. If your visa is granted you will be sent to do your medical. Medical won't prevent your visa from being granted but it will not be given to you till you present your medical report. |
preprewow: Hello Gentiger, spoondar, temmamy, junkerhill, jidex & the rest of the house. Hope u r all succeed ur journeys towards usa. well, its been quite long since the last time. nero xp: My E-family,I greet u all...u guys coming over here very soon nd doz of us here shuld try nd consider studying dat CNA cos it realy helps a lot...As soon as one gets his or her CNA license or cert,to get a job in a hospital or nursing home ain't gonna be problem...it pays more nd u can stil combine it wit any oda Job if u're fit to work...I hav frends who re CNA's nw workin nw, ridin big cars,nd living large...the cost is around 450 to 500 dollars, but u wil earn lyk 10$ per hour if u start de JOb...Am already running de program,nd its quite fun...GOD bless Obama,GOD bless America for life.I have researched about that and I have been making some preparations.
