Sadiq could become the Black Zlatan but.......

Meanwhile... Sports-scientifically speaking, Sadiq should hit the gym abeg. He needs to add a little more muscle mass and in tandem with that height of his, he would be beastly to handle in physical duels (both ground and aerial).
Needs a gym and diet plan to make it happen. Please!!!

The volume of duels he loses per game is a concern.

He lost 17 in the last la liga game. This game today, he lost 12.

Now listen/read carefully, The point is not that he lost duels. Every striker must lose duels no matter how good such striker is. THE POINT IS Sadiq loses duels far more frequently than most.

Vs Madrid... he lost 8 duels (Most duels lost in the game).

Vs Elche... he lost 17 duels (Most duels lost in the game).

Vs Sevilla today... he lost 12 duels (Again, the most duels lost in the game).

Something has to be done abeg.

Just bulk up a bit and he would be some kind of low-budget Haaland or Black Zlatan.

He has the ball skills, the movement and the eye for goals, what he needs to step up in, is his muscle mass building.

Do this and in a few months or within a year, we should be ready for greater thunder from Sadika.

All the same, Great start to La Liga Sadiq. Carry on. cool

Physically imposing structure such as Tolu Arokodare, right?

Wuuuuuuu! Been ages.

K.Nwakali is already top 3 in the Alcorcon team for Tackles per game stats at 1.4/game.

He is top 7 in the team for Interceptions per game at 1.2/game.

These numbers are a far cry from the numbers he picked up at Huesca before his loan move. This shows the lad is indeed improving on his marking and off-the-ball-movements and I also have the eye-test privilege of seeing all his games in La Liga Smartbank this season so far.

I need not mention his other stats reports. He has been Alcorcon's undisputed Best player since he joined them doing strong bits in both the offensive and defensive phases of the game.

So all this talk of Nwakali has to improve his marking is funny because he has been doing just that and just needs to be encouraged to keep it up and take the improvements even further.

You guys should please stop analysing Nwakali by your past knowledge of his plays when you have hardly watched him play recently. Watch him in the present and analyse correctly. Thank you.

Cc Chriskels (coz na you cause this talk). I have seen all his games so I know what I am talking about and the stats show this as well.

You can even check this thread (link dropped below) made about Nwakali by a Super Eagles stan account called @OptaSuperEagles

He really took his time and broke down everything on Nwakali at Alcorcon so far (prior to yesterday's game)...

Merci. cool

9 tackles out of 13 (from the sofascore rarings) is indicative of massive improvement from the Nwakali I use to know.

Sent aina to the bench because just because of yesterday game ?

Many of una just Dey expose una thinking since yesterday

Ebuehi is a nice player and I love him but una go do anything to spite any player wey komekn like grin

Don't lump me in with others. I have my reasons for that POV. I like Aina, but he has concentration issues. I don't know what concerns Komekn Here, seen him at Torino and I wasn't. So impressed.

Ebuehi made the WC list, did Aina also make it? These are things we consider to provide us with a broader perspective.

Easy bro, no doubt Ebuehi is good but sometimes we need to take it easy when analysing our players.

Ebuehi is fit and better this season compare to Aina who just had one or two games this season.

Aina is a decent young man, but, he can so lose concentration in dangerous places.

So where is it?
Why can't we find it in on the internet again? Abi the powers that be have removed it? undecided

Aina is far better than Ebuehi in your opinion.. but Rohr prefers Ebuehi to Aina at RB..Rohr is the coach, you aren't...end of story!

Someone came straight from a 2 year injury and effectively sent Aina to the bench and he's somehow not better?

Na today I know y udinese coach pursue Ekong comot for the club.

Ekong is not a terrible player, we've seen him had good games too even better than Balogun at times.

He hasn't played this season, hence, his rustiness. He's a decent performer on his day.

Rohr has always been Rohr, his team set up was poor, yet, there was no tactical change from him to attempt stirring the tides in his favor. It was more like; play just the way you like insha Allah, we may get a goal. grin grin

We lacked presence in the midfield. Ajayi and Onyeka are just aren't up to it, why was Azeez not invited please?

Akpeyi may be a better goalie than Maduka, but Maduka gives you confidence, and that, most time is enough. One moment he impressed me was when he caught a through pass with his body outside the box but the ball still in box, reminds me of Akpeyi's howler against Argentina. He deserves to be at least our number 2 with his showing today.

Ebuehi just coming back from a 2 year injury did relatively well, but simply wasn't at his best and playing against an in-form Benrahma didn't help his course that much. Zaidu was impressive too.

As long as Balogun is fit, he should always be playing abeg, till he decides to call it quits.

Tijani is A Star in the making, yes, I said it.

Overall, our problem was from the middle, we were unable to string up to 5 passes together. What makes matters even worse is, the Algerians weren't that spectacular, but, for their tactical discipline, they did enough to suppress us, their pressing was mad too.

I see Akpoguma starting whatever happens.

The double standard and expediency employed to get him clearance plus the obvious bias by Rohr for German players.

I will be SHOCKED if he does not start.

Double standard?

What would Rohr gain by deliberately stalling the switching process of English players? It has been explained to you why it takes longer when the English FA is concerned, then, why are you still latching onto that?

How many Germans has Rohr brought to the team? Okoye, Akpoguma, anyone else?

Akpoguma won't start today's game.

What’s our style of play ?

How many minutes e even play self

We don't cross the ball regular with the wingers we've got. You shouldn't be asking me this question.

Must he play for eternity for us to know he isn't a good fit for us? Why then hasn't Nawekeme been recalled to the team despite his numbers in Turkey?

They don’t judge player like that

Onauchu club form will always make him to be invited

How are we expected to judge a player then.

A player is invited because of his club form, he comes to the national team and our style of play don't fit him, and, hence, he flops terribly, it's whose fault then.

Be sincere, did his performance at the afcon fill you up with confidence?

Your line up has one glaring problem. Kalu and Chukwueze are inverted wingers. Inverted wingers do not do well at whipping crosses since they would have to do that with their weaker foot. Onuachu can only thrive in a formation that guarantees slower build up and plenty quality high crosses into the box. Those wingers can't give him that.

Kalu and Chukwueze are made for fast counterattacking football with plenty of short passes and freedom to make individual darting runs. We saw that against Ukraine. Starting them alongside a slow clumsy Onuachu will be a clear and comedic mismatch. Like wearing a suit and tie over traditional wrapper.

Exactly, Onuachu would stifle the team's flow. That's my only grouse with the line up even though I agree with his choice in other positions.
