Tell the installer to read the punctured panel with a multimeter and compare the reading with the other panels. That will tell you the condition of the punctured panel, then you can apply a 4-minute gum to cover the punctured hole if the meter reading is the same with the remaining panels..
kristien4: Installer mistakenly punctured a whole underneath a monofacial panel with a 5mm drill bit. It cut the underneath plastic/black matter, but did not crack or puncture glass. Is the still good to go?
From experience those hot plates attached to cooking gases are also energy efficient as they can be regulated to reduce power consumptions. The hot plate on my gas’s cooker consumes 1kw at maximum and 200w at lowest. Induction cooker also has regulators to control power consumptions but may require special cooking pot to achieve optimum temperature.
dollarnaira: Please house, Since we have Inverter fridge, Inverter ac etc Is there Inverter hot plate?
Good morning Solar power enthusiasts, pls is it recommended to use a 5000va stabilizer to power a non-inverter Air conditioner on a High Frequency Inverter to handle the startup power surge. The HF hybrid inverter has been handling other heavy appliances like electric kettle, pumping machine and inverter AC connected directly without voltage stabilizer.
KudozInteriors: Good morning bosses So much learning in this space. Thank you all so much. It’s been a while. I went to supervise a construction work and network was really terrible there. We’ll, I’m a certified civil/structural engineer o in case someone here has work for me🙏🏼😃
I’ve been having an issue with my inverter since I came back. I took one of my studio monitors (speakers) to an electrician to fix the switch as it was problematic. After that, I noticed that each time I switch on the speakers, my inverter fan increases in speed like the sound of an ox fan and once I put off the speakers, the fan relaxes after a few minutes.
Please who has experienced a thing like this before? What could be the cause of this?
Thank you sooo much🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
The problem is likely from one of the studio monitors that was repaired. My son mostly use his studio monitors with inverter while producing beats and it doesn’t have any effect on my inverter. Try using only one of the speakers especially the one without fault and check its effect on your inverter. If it’s the studio monitor then there’s likely a problem with the power transformer.
You shouldn’t have collected the refund since you know you were not ready to move out before your rent expires. The refund should have gone to your new landlord and he’s to determine whether or not to retain you as tenant when your current rent expires. But by accepting the refund since April means that you consented to vacating the property after 3 months. Unfortunately you can not eat your cake and still have it, Just look for another accommodation before you put yourself in unnecessary trouble.
I won’t advise you to use this to charge your battery If your LiFePo4 battery doesn’t have a smart bms to enable you monitor and manage the charging, as it could damage your battery cells in the long run.
Elizkid: I bought this Sako 12v 1kva inverter today. What influenced my decision is the hope that I’d use its 40a ac charger to charge my lifepo4 battery. I didn’t want a modular setup where I’d buy inverter , controller, and ac charger separately. Would be too messy for me.
Now, I unboxed it, checked the manual, and saw this: (first paragraph of attached pic)
Does it mean I can’t charge a 100ah 12v lifepo4 battery with it?
Cause that’s the main point of me buying this inverter, and I’m already regretting the purchase.
Sako should have indicated this on the carton and not tuck it away in the manual.
I’m still surprised that many people are saying that the Israelis pleaded for a ceasefire. If that’s the case, why will IDF still send more than 20 fighter jets after the ceasefire pronouncement and it was President Trump that had to intervene before they aborted the mission. Therefore it’s not logical to say that Isreal begged for the ceasefire that was likely initiated by President Trumph since the mission of destroying the nuclear facilities and the skilled man power has been accomplished.
This is not much of an impressive innovation because it’s still like combining two of the 314ah cells in terms of size and capacity. Although it will reduce the number of bus bars for connecting the cells since it’s 2 in 1 and the internal resistance seems to be much lower than the 314ah. A reduction in cell size with higher capacity would have made much sense.
Good morning Engineers, Installers and end users, pls which good brand of 5.5 KVA 24V Hybrid Offgrid Inverter is recommended. I had wanted to go for the Luxsun brand but they don’t have the 5.5KVA 24V instead it’s 5.5KVA 48V.
bkuranga: Yes, use it for my pumping machine. Rated 0.5HP, though.
But I use it for air fryer and hot plate. And I have accidentally use it for both pumping machine and hot plate like 2 times, still powers it.
I use a time for my pumping machine, so I do forget the time and use hot plate around same time. So far, it chested both.
Thanks for this update, I’ll eventually go for the 5.5kva when I’m ready because my pumping machine is 1hp. I also love the fact that the hybrid inverter can work with or without battery.
bkuranga: I have no idea of how good these inverters are. I have a friend using Bread 3.5KVA, he's had no complain so far.
I'm using LuxSun 4.2KVA and the performance has been excellent. And I feel it's in the same category as those listed.
Aside the fact that the fan is always on, I have tested it roughly lately and it's doing good.
You may want to consider Luxsun if you are looking for recommendations from users.
Nice one, have you used your 4.2Luxsun 24v inverter to power like 1hp Borehole, AC or any other heavy appliances. And does it work without the battery as indicated on the carton.
ManAdii: Most of us here are having a misconception about how "inverter" air-conditioners work. The fact that it is termed "inverter" doesn't automatically amount to lower running wattage.
Ok let me share what I know about Inverter ACs and regular ACs.
Inverter ACs require low current to start running and will continue running at constant speeds to maintain the room temperature after attaining the set temperature. On the other hand, the normal ACs require high current at startup and the compressor will stop running after attaining the set temperature. But the compressor will start running again whenever the room temperature drops below the set temperature and often requires high current at each startups, which makes it consume more wattage than the inverter ACs.
Experienced Installers in the house, can I use this 2.4kva 24v Mercury Inverter with any of the LifePO4 batteries like Haisic or CWorth 24v 280ah without having to buy a separate battery charger. Although the 2.4kva mercury inverter has an inbuilt charger that can be set to 10A or 20A for charging.
