Why are people like this?

I got back home last night and made straight for the shower. I was so exhausted after a long day hustle. I was hungry and had to go get some noodles from one of the shops on the street. I had got the noodles and while strolling back to my place, one of the young guys on the street walked up to me and said " bros good evening, please can I talk to you?"


I stopped to listen to him and he said: How things dey go? And I answered " fine" with a smile. And he started blowing me story oh!

Bros I like your way, you no just get anybody time for this area. In my mind I am like " why will I have anybody's time"... only if they understand how unhappy I am staying around that place. I just wanted to keep a low key, focus and get back on my feet again!

So he continued, I like you bros that's why I want tell you this thing, I just like how you dey do your things.

E get some chics around here wey been dey gossip you when you pass. Them just dey scatter yarn shaaa. One talk say e be like say you be homo say she don dey see you for over one year now, no babe and na only one guy she dey always see you with. I just stood there looking at him....


You see, after my last relationship, I decided to just be on my own. I had gotten out of paid employment and started a business which didn't go down well and I ended up wound in debt. My girlfriend started acting funny and all... adding to my wahala which I was just not in the mood for. She was obviously tired and was seeing someone else.... I just couldn't give her that " Rihanna wanna be lifestyle" that she needed.


I mean I had to tell myself the truth that it wasn't working after talking to her severally about her attitude and how she cared less. The relationship finally fizzled and we had to go out separate ways. So I am here thinking about how to get back on my feet again and stay focus while some idiots are busy calling me gay oh!


The only person who visits me in this area is my best friend from childhood and that's about the only person that I can allow to come to my house. I have been trying so hard to discipline myself by staying off chics; it's not like I can't do when I want to do... I mean am not bad looking " light skin, broad shoulders, big build, 5ft"9 inches and a bald head" lol. But I just don't want to be that guy again... That guy who goes around with different girls.


How does that make me gay? Even the landlady sent a message through my Sister " that your brother him never reach to marry... make we find wife for am?" ... Nna eh... Right now I don't think am stable to go through that relationship stress because I am trying to settle myself. I had tried to date earlier on but I just found out that I was spending money carelessly...


You see these girls when I try to date and tell them how things are and all that... my looks, appearance and dressing always betray me... And why do most of these girls always ask for " Cold Stone Ice Cream and Pizza"? Like I always had to spend money whenever we see. Come to the house, she refused... mehn I just had to steer clear.


Right now I just want to be... Until I find someone reasonable... But do I even need a girl right now? It's cool being this single because I don't have to think about pleasing any girl.... Does that make me gay? Hell NO!

Trust you are doing great. I am thinking of investing some of my money into power bank business. I visited a family friend today in Alaba market and he showed me a sample of the power banks he's importing. I don't know if it's wise to invest in it since there are hundreds of power banks scattered all around the market place.

I was thinking of importing them myself but on a second thought why go through that stress if I can get it locally from someone who brings it in bulk.
